Reviews for Villa Magnolia Parc

Review 1:Lovely restored building, just a minute walk from the town centre which had plenty of restaurants and bars. Owners Daan and Clasain (and their yorkie :-) were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Another plus for travellers from the UK is that they speak excellent English. We would definitely recommend.

Review 2:This location is very close to the railway station if you come by train. Excellent hosts who are extremely inviting and friendly. We really enjoyed our three nights and sampled some nice food in the town. The room was large and very quiet. The bathroom was very large with a great shower. And finally the breakfast was amazing.

Review 3:Very hospitable owners. Enclosed garden a boon. Comfortable, large, well appointed rooms and en suite facilities. Outstanding breakfast included in price. 100m from central town.

Review 4:The price was at the top end and it was not very easily accessible..

Review 5:This is to be recommended for people with time - which we fortunately had as did the forthcoming hosts. A beautiful experience to have a lovingly prepared and lush breakfast together.

Review 6:We did not stay longer.

Review 7:Everything - best holdiday experience. Large spacious rooms, a beautiful house and gardens Delicious breakfast. The owners understand their business - they are thoughtful and generous with their time and assistance.

Review 8:Nothing.

Review 9:We loved the place. The location was excellent and the very sociable owners were wonderful. Recommend it to anyone and we wished we had stayed longer.

Review 10:No bath in the enormous bathroom, which would have helped with our baby. Large bed but made up as two singles and pushed together. More for adults than children

Review 11:Warm welcome from our hosts. Lovely large room. Close to the town centre and the restaurants

Review 12:Montelimar as a town is not worth a detour, but it is a great gateway to Provence and further south.

Review 13:The owners, a Durch couple, received us like friends: offered a nice aperitive on the terrace, spent time with us upon arrival and we had breakfast together. The house is beautifully renovated, breakfast is excellent. Nice stopover between Belgium and Cote d'azur.

Review 14:Attractive, spacious and comfortable rooms; very convenient location near town center; delicious fresh breakfasts and charming, well-traveled and interesting hosts. We had a lovely stay and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our hosts. They are truly hospitable, and they have made sure all details are perfect: free WIFI with no connection problems whatsoever, comfortable rooms, a beautiful garden with swimming pool, and ample, secure parking. Highly recommended.

Review 15:Really stylish, individual place. Enthusiastic and attentive owners. Great location for finding the town and all its restaurants. Great option for overnight or short stay.

Review 16:Nothing at all!

Review 17:We were made very welcome in this beautiful villa. It was such a pleasant change to be able to sit and have a conversation. The room was newly refurbished in a style to suit the building but with a very modern en suite. Every comfort had been accommodated. We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely house in a beautiful town.

Review 18:1. The proximity to the railway line could be a problem for anyone not used to the sound of passing trains. We use wax earplugs so were not bothered. 2. A minor point - the toilet in our bathroom is installed a little too high for our short legs!

Review 19:1. Our Dutch hosts were extremely hospitable and made us feel very welcome. 2. Terrific breakfasts around a communal table which meant we could talk to the other guests. 3. We enjoyed sitting in the garden next to the pool and chatting with our hosts and other guests. 4. The shower in our bathroom was fantastic!

Review 20:The most comfortable bed. Good quality linen on the beds. Excellent bathroom. Breakfast was more than adequate. The owners were charming and hospitable. Cannot rate villa magnolia highly enough. Superb.

Review 21:Nothing

Review 22:Lovely and fantastic place, hosts (Daan and Clasien) and breakfast in the capital of nougat! Close to restaurants and a fantastic house and the rooms are spacious and gorgeous! Perfect if your looking for a personal experience and not a tv... :-)

Review 23:Beautiful house in convenient location - will definitely use again when staying in Montelimar.

Review 24:a super welcome; caring and friendly. great renovation of the house done with respect; all comfort available

Review 25:Scratchy towels.

Review 26:Beautifully furnished room and excellrnt breakfast.

Review 27:Close to our route. Friendly welcome.Town nearby.

Review 28:Very charming guest house run by a very charming couple. A very comfortable stopover.

Review 29:Spacious rooms, great breakfast choice, very welcoming,

Review 30:A beautifully restored, magnificent "maison" can be your home for the asking. Clasien and Daan treat you like family and have thought of every detail...and all of the modern conveniences... to make your visit nothing less than superb. Great breakfast, gorgeous room and delightful company. If you are staying in Montelimar, you will not find a better place than Villa Magnolia Park.

Review 31:We loved the spacious room, the huge bathroom, the most comfortable bed ever. The owners Daan and Clasien were most welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing, the wifi worked perfectly, the parking was completely secure and all included in the price. The house itself is gorgeous and the renovations done by Daan and Clasien are first class, they are to be congratulated. Also there is a lovely swimming pool which would be fantastic in the summer with the lovely garden, and yes the rooms are airconditioned as well. Every little detail has been thought of, a lovely place to stay, we certainly will be back. Another thing, there is a lift so getting luggage to your room is just so easy.

Review 32:Loved this special house lovingly restored by the owners. We appreciated the little extras i.e. slippers and dressing gowns. Lovely bedlinen and luxurious bathroom. Excellent included in price breakfast. Our hosts were extremely welcoming.

Review 33:The villa itself used to belong to a local captain of industry. After years of neglect it was recently restored, in excellent taste, to its former art deco glory. We found it delightful. The welcome was excellent, indeed the hosts could not have been more concerned for our comfort. The car park is locked. The town centre is very near, with good restaurants close by. All in all this is an outstanding example of the new type of superior quality B&Bs that is now coming into existence. We give it full marks.

Review 34:Daniel & Clasien are excellent hosts in the best country house traditions. From the moment one arrives nothing is too much trouble. Their personal touch is evident everywhere from the delightful and tasteful decor to the superb breakfast. Their property is ideal for a visit to Montelimar, located a few seconds from the centre with secure car parking. Our only regret was to have planned only a one night stop; two would have been much more sensible. Certainly we would book here again when travelling between Switzerland and Spain.

Review 35:Beng a boring Brit, I like a bath rather than a shower, particularly after a long drive. That said, it wouldn't be a deal breaker and we arrived so late that, after a cheeky wine with mine hostes, it was straight out for a delicious meal at a Resto only 50 metres away...

Review 36:Can't really say more than the other reviewers...Fabulously comfortable beds, wonderful setting, beautiful building, kind and generous hosts (and I include Ti Amo), brilliant secure parking for our very overloaded car... Oh and the breakfast was lovely too... (PS, I don't like booking.com's tyranny of labelling - we are anything but a mature couple...so I lied and said we were young, which we're not..)

Review 37:Noise from the trains

Review 38:We received a warm welcome from the hostess who then showed us to our room. She invited us to join her and the host for a welcome drink on the terrace when we had settled in. We spent a pleasant hour learning about the history of the Magnolia Parc. A beautifully restored house very tastefully decorated. ( Liked the bag for the toilet rolls!!! ). We especially enjoyed the wonderful breakfast.

Review 39:Absolutely nothing-it is perfect!

Review 40:Friendly welcome, perfect room-clean, large, comfortable and quiet, best breakfast in France. A great location and experience-will break all future journeys to the South of France at this lovely spot

Review 41:It did not bother us. But there is a train that goes by. We felt itadded to the ambience!

Review 42:Everything! Homemade bread, muffins and breadpudding! The love and carethey have taken in restoring this magnificent mansion. We've madetwo good friends. Will defiantly come back!!!!!

Review 43:This is an excellent place to stop, tastefully decorated & our Dutch hosts were the nicest people you could meet. An Oasis in a bit of a one horse Town.

Review 44:Entrance to secure parking was difficult to find (this was mainly due to me not reading the instructions properly!!).

Review 45:We were met with a warm welcome by the owners who immediately made us feel very welcome We were shown to our room which was immaculately and very tastefully decorated Located close to the city centre where we were directed to some wonderful restaurants After a good night sleep in silk sheets, we awoke to the smell of freshly cooked bread, and were treated to the best breakfast we have had in a very long time This wonderful building with its superb accommodation is well worth a visit
