Reviews for Park Hotel Villa Erina

Review 1:The breakfast menu did not include scrambled eggs and expresso coffee. It is unreasonable that the guests have to pay extra to get those.

Review 2:Very welcoming and helpful staff. The hotel and the rooms were very clean and well decorated and the pool was perfect in August. Although somehow limited, the breakfast is nice, fresh fruits, greek yoghurt and a wide variety of nuts for a healthy start of the day

Review 3:desayuno es "excellent" pero no jamon ... iberico

Review 4:Pool, comfort, kindness of people, quiet except the neighbourgs and during the garden : very noisy

Review 5:Hotel was located in a strange district with very basic local buildings - far from the beach and "life", not easy to find, nothing to do there without a car

Review 6:1) Nice decor of the hotel, 2) Free parking on the territory 3) Fair breakfast (they prepared the fried eggs for extra fee - though it appeared to be rather expensive fried eggs for 6 euro)

Review 7:Long walk to beach ~ we always drove but this wasn't a big issue.

Review 8:Beautiful grounds, and lovely pool; quiet and serene; staff very friendly and willing to assist in any way; hotel itself is beautiful ~ art work throughout. Breakfast was set up nicely and good assortment. Owner was present and interacted with us several times. Owners have a restaurant on the beach that was very good!

Review 9:Breakfast area was a bit small and didn't have much choice of food. Would have loved a mini fridge in the room as thats all it needed!

Review 10:Openned the balcony door and i could walk out to the pool. Very spaciuos room and loved the fact that it was no more than 5min away from the Paseo Maritimo.

Review 11:Wifi is bad. Weird policy wherein only a single connection per room is allowed whereras you are given a pw for each device.

Review 12:The site of the villa is wonderful

Review 13:very nice garden with pool, villa, owners, staff, nice architecture the owners are really dedicated and try to find quick solutions

Review 14:This building is having very thin walls – you can easily hear which tv-programe your neighbor is watching. At a first sight the architecture seems to be very massive, but if you check it – most of the parts are fake (plastic). We stayed 21 nights at this place, after 19 days we got all the tv-programs which are normally available. Internet LOG-IN is a real desaster even if the whole staff is trying to compensate this poor solution. Sometimes everyday you have to ask for new LOG-IN datas. In the shower-room there is nothing to place your shampoo or soap, so you have to put it on the floor. Be careful when lending pool-towels, the owner will set a deposit fee of Euro 25 for each towel !!! The owners are having a beach restaurant, which is nice but compared to other chiringuitos (beach bars) around 30% mor expensive. We think if you book such a long stay and you would like to „bind“ your customers they should offer the sunbeds and sun-umbrellas for free ! A shuttle-service organised by the hotel would add some business to the beach restaurant.

Review 15:The proprietors and staff were excellent very helpful and charming. the Hotel is one of the best Ive have stayed in can not recommend this Hotel highly enough, exceeded our expectations.

Review 16:No complaints whatsoever

Review 17:Fantastic, friendly, courteous hosts who could not do enough to make my two nights stay as relaxed and enjoyable as possible, and I will definitely be staying here when I am in the area, and wholeheartedly recommend this charming hotel to anyone.....this may sound OTT but I couldn fault it.....

Review 18:There was nothing to dislike.

Review 19:Everything - wonderful friendly people, beautiful setting, very comfortable accommodation - magnificent bathroom, very good breakfast, beautiful gardens.

Review 20:Our stay was too short!

Review 21:Beautiful gardens and the hotel decorations are very unique and make you feel like you are staying someplace very special. The owners treat you like you are special friends and make you feel welcome.

Review 22:Guard dog barking through the night which led to broken nights sleep at times.

Review 23:Staff very helpful. Breakfast, perfect. Very Clean everywhere. Beautiful grounds. Very great attention to detail.

Review 24:- not directly at the beach (take a car) - wifi not working permanently

Review 25:- Hotel itself (more than 3*) - Romeo and his daughter Laura - rooms - pool - breakfast - parking - silence and the beach

Review 26:I booked a room with a balcony, which I didn't get. Walls paper thin- noisy. Bedside lights useless; just shine onto bedside table. Be awareif you go to Romeos Beach club you will be charged 5 euros for a sunbed, which you can get elsewhere on the beach for 3 euros. I also had theworst cup of coffee and the most expensive I had in three weeks in Spainand Portugal. It is a significant walk to the beach, involving a steephill, and crossing the a7 via a footbridge. Even further walk to thetown of Castillo.

Review 27:Parking, clean nice room and bathroom, nice small pool, well sign postedoff a7. Good wifi in the room, but not in the grounds by the pool.

Review 28:The friendly and helpful staff. The large room and beautiful setting.

Review 36:Nice garden.

Review 37:The hotel was really quaint, gardens beautifully kept & the staff exceptional. The owners were so lovely, & made us very welcome.

Review 38:Barking from dog in the neighbourhood and bad wi-fi, in and out all the time.

Review 39:Room, service, cleaness and friendly staff.

Review 40:beautiful spotlessly clean and great staff

Review 41:Not that much space unit top space in the room and bathrooms.

Review 42:It was peaceful and we enjoyed the pool

Review 43:Attacked by the hotel owners guard dog & the owner was extremely rude !!

Review 44:A mini fridge in room would be good. WIFI was patchy. Only minor items setting more than made up.

Review 45:Staff, setting, peace

Review 46:Breakfast limited.

Review 47:Lovely grounds, rooms and public areas.

Review 48:We were a bit late to get in because the rooms were not ready by 2pm, our arrival time.

Review 51:Best little hotel in Spain!

Review 52:None

Review 53:Great Grounds. Comfort the best We have had. Quite location

Review 54:small remote hotel with excellent staff

Review 55:no English language television channels

Review 56:breakfast, swimming pool, garden and staff were all fantastic

Review 57:No view of the sea or the countryside

Review 58:Beautiful spacious tasteful building, nice garden, helpful staff, good value, but not well situated for views of the area.

Review 59:Excellent service. Really nice quiet location which I'd say was a positive but about a 30 minute walk into town. Everything was very clean and very nice decor. We plan to stay again on our next visit!

Review 60:Awesome Holidays... we spent our Easter Holidays in the Hotel Villa Erina and it was really great. The pool, the wonderful garden, the breakfast and Romeo, the owner, who tried to find out all our wishes before we were able to express them. Perfect for people, who do not like big hotels and impersonal comfort. Here your dreams of recreative holidays become true. You reach the beach in about 5 minutes; The Hotel is the perfect base for visiting and exploring south Andalusia!

Review 61:The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The salt water swimming pool was very well kept, as were the gardens.

Review 62:Some of the surrounding buildings and the dog mess along the beachpromenade, which, of course, is nothing to do with the quality of VillaErina, it doesn't affect you when you are staying there.

Review 63:I liked everything about Villa Erina, including the proprietors Romeoand Erina who couldn't do enough for us and practiced a very highstandard of service in every way. The decor and cleanliness was soimpressive, sheer luxury with a friendly welcome. The gardens arebeautiful and everything is so well kept, including the swimming pool.We would return there.

Review 64:need a car if you want to get around, have to be careful as the hotel is very delicate.

Review 65:great place.

Review 66:Peaceful, tranquil, well run with an attention to detail

Review 67:You really couldn't ask for more, everything was fantastic

Review 68:The pool, super bathroom , lovely & clean , modern & friendly staff

Review 69:Loved the attention that Romeo (the owner) gave us, he was the perfect host

Review 70:Excellent welcome and attentiveness. Convenient for me and I will stay again whilst visiting family. A bit of an "oasis" in the area!
