Review 1：The staff was fantastic and very helpful with questions regarding travel and transportation. The bed was comfortable and I felt very safe and comfortable.

Review 2：Apart from a great location right infront of the beach, I wish to highlighted that this hotel provide a really great breakfast buffet. What a great way to start a nice day in Llanfranch.

Review 3：Unfortunately a blood stained towel was left in our bathroom by the maid one morning.....not pleasant. However the staff soon sorted this out for us but not sure exactly how the linen got mixed up. These things happen.

Review 9：I'd give Hotel Terramar 15 out of 10 if I could. Its a 3 star hotel with 5 star service. Lovely clean rooms, clean fresh towels and loads of hot water, lovely bath and shower. The breakfast was superb - lots of choice, cooked, cold, fruit, fresh etc ... The evening restaurant was excellent - fish dishes in particular were delicious. The service we received at reception and in the dining room was exceptional. We're going back as soon as we can, absolutely loved it and highly recommend!

Review 12：Only niggle was the sun terrace only had one shaded area...But there are shady areas immediately in front of the hotel as well as on balcony so not a major drawback.

Review 13：Our room position overlooking the street and beach was lovely! Overall room size and balcony was very comfortable. (We had a corner room) Having a fridge in the room was a very welcome bonus...We could keep drinks fruit etc in there!

Review 18：One night of noisy nightlife on the beach at the front of the hotel which you can hear in your room at front from 1am to 7am as a result of revellers from a music festival. Were charged an extra 11 euros per day for car parking which is 5 mins walk away.

Review 20：We went on a short boat trip along the coast. We saw quite a lot of wildlife and we swam in the water which was crystal clear. Water on the beach by the hotel also very good

Review 21：The restaurant's food was delicious, especially the tapas tasting menu which was excellent value! Llafranc is a beautiful place to stay. More peaceful than some of the larger towns but lively enough as well. Would definitely recommend this town and hotel!

Review 22：First floor lounge seemed unloved and underused. The space would be much better used for a facility like a health/beauty spa. Something Llafranc would like a lot.

Review 24：The hotel was right on the beach. It was luxurious, clean and relaxing. I would stay here again if/when we come back to Llafranc! We only stayed on night. We couldn't get a late check out but they held our luggage for us and allowed us full access to hotel and to take showers in the locker room at the end of the day. Staff was fantastic and room was so comfortable. Thanks!

Review 25：This was the only hotel that we stayed in along the Costa Brava that didn't have breakfast included. Other than that, there was nothing bad about this place. But nothing to write home about.

Review 28：The noise from the vehicles carrying out the annual beach maintenance; working from 07.30 to 20.30 approx for 5 out of the 7 nights. It was very intrusive.

Review 29：Llafranc/Calella is a lovely area. The hotel staff were very professional, helpful and cheerful.

Review 30：It was very hot when we arrived and found only two small bottles if water in fridge, it was late at night when we arrived so there was nowhere to purchase more. Room above entrance so lights made it very light which made sleeping with baloney door open a non option.

Review 31：The staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our requests. Location perfect and loved waking up to the sound if the sea.

Review 32：The floors have no carpeting. So the heavy set couple, one of which often wore heels, that had the room upstairs from us kept us awake because we could hear them walking all night long...including what we assume to be multiple trips to the loo. We also visited just after peak season and there were very few vendors open at all for simple amenities like changing money or buying water and sodas for the room.

Review 33：Room had queen size bed, lots of room that also had a sitting chair and a balcony with a small settee. Perfect size for an extended stay. Everything was impeccably clean and the bathrooms had plenty of hot water and pressure that did not ebb if another room was using its facilities. Could borrow beach towels, power strips with free wifi and the hotel changed money for us. Staff was informative, helpful without feeling pressure for up selling. Staff was fantastic.

Review 38：Everything about llafranc was super. It was a wonderful holiday and we will stay at the same hotel again. We had a sea view with a large room. The set meals were great value and the breakfasts were excellent. The beach loungers were good value too. Great!

Review 39：Bath/shower needs a grab rail and non slip mat. Distances to parking peak season could be a problem for some but it's the same for nearly all hotels in Llafranch.

Review 43：I remember this hotel from 1982 when I was a teenager but have not been back since. We all loved it. The location is great, the staff helpful,the rooms had all you would need inc. air con and fridges, shutters make the room dark and quiet at night and the breakfast buffet was lovely.

Review 45：We spent a week at Hotel Terramar (August 2014). Would return to the hotel and would like to return to the tiny town of Llafranc in the future. We rarely heard a British accent as the area is a holiday getaway location for the French and Spanish. If you want a quiet week in a beautiful little town this this is perfect. Hotel is ideally located on the beach. We had a room with terrace facing the sea- which was well worth the extra money for the view. Breakfast is optional but good value for the large spread on offer.

Review 109：Unfortunately we didn't have a room with a view of the beach, we just looked out, over the road which albeit very quiet, wasn't very exciting. There are, actually very few rooms which do have a view of the sea. I would probably only stay there again if I did have a view of the beach.

Review 110：Location, location, location, the hotel was right on the beach in Llafranch which has to be one of the nicest on the Costa Brava. It was a very clean, family run hotel and the staff were helpful. Our room was adequate albeit a bit pokey. The hotel, however, was very reasonably priced for such an expensive area.
