Review 1：Location is a bit away from the center of the village. Although it provides stunning views, it does require a bit more steep hill walking.

Review 2：REALLY comfortable bed! All of the staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Review 3：I have a bad back so the steep walk up from the village was a problem, especially at night if we ate in the village, when it was both very steep and very dark much of the way. So we ended up eating bar snacks for evening meals most days to avoid that. Bar snacks were limited and could be improved eg a tuna baguette was just that - bread roll with mashed tinned tuna inside, with no mayonnaise or salad garnish, which I thought was poor. Most sandwiches in the UK are now served with salad garnish and in the Mediterranean I expected better. I know serving evening meals would need much more resources from the hotel management but for us, I have to say, the lack of this facility would deter us from returning, even though the rest of the service was excellent.

Review 4：Our room was large and very tastefully decorated in cream and French lavender with plenty of attractive furniture and our own balcony with beautiful sea view. Staff were very friendly and helpful, for example when I was ill they brought meals to our room, even bringing me a hot toddy! The hotel grounds were nicely laid out with trees & shrubs, with pretty lighting after dark, and a nice view of the outdoor pool added to the view.

Review 5：The 10 minute walk up from the beach is all uphill, so you need to be fit.

Review 6：Beautiful hotel, beautiful grounds and gardens, peaceful, idyllic - and wonderful staff too! We loved walking between the different beaches and small towns and discovering the true beauty of this region of Catalunya.

Review 11：Steep uphill walk back to hotel from town. Limited choice of food for a 4* hotel. Dinner menu comprised of a choice of only light food options albeit tasty and well presented. Breakfast selection never changed and scrambled egg and bacon were always at best warm as was the coffee. Mattress was on the soft side for my liking.

Review 15：Very peaceful location yet only 5 mins walk to seafront. Staff are very very very good! All-day snack menu meant we didn't often bother with Llafranc restaurants, just ate on the terrace or inside. Breakfast menu was extensive. Room was super-comfortable, spacious with wonderful sea view over the village.

Review 29：This was a perfect hotel for us. Close to the beach, restaurants (less than 10 minutes walk), but at the same time super quiet. Amazing views, good pool, great breakfast, superb staff (family run, owners are there most of the time and you can feel the difference). Totally recommended.

Review 67：The staff were very sweet and helpful . The view from our room was fabulous. Decor a little too much for our taste but immaculately clean and we had everything we could need. The walk down to the seafront takes ten minutes but is a steep haul on the way back - still we managed it a couple of times a day and even in the dark after a glass or two. It was good practise for the many steps on the coast path!

Review 68：Lovely peaceful Hotel. If you want to totally relax this is the place to go. So quiet, great rooms, good breakfast, and friendly helpful staff. Gardens and pool area beautiful.

Review 69：The menu was limited to snacks so a full meal meant going up and down a fairly steep road to the town and to the beach which could put off some people, which is the downside of the splendid view Our room was on an angle so storage space and the sitting area were limited. The provision of more shade outside would have been useful.

Review 71：Lots of little things: Room had no long mirror, no waste bin (only one in bathroom), no box of tissues, no awning on balcony, light on balcony not working. Wi-Fi very slow - took hours to download morning paper. Breakfast plentiful, but weak coffee, poor orange juice, choice of fresh fruit limited to plums and pears and watery fruit salad. All these could be re,me died at very little expense.

Review 72：Location - wonderful view over the bay of Llafranc and surrounding wooded hills. The vertiginous walk down to town and steep uphill trek back gave good exercise. Llafranc is a delightful resort with a good beach where matelas and parasols are available for hire. Lots of restaurants and cafes. Lovely local walks to Callela and up to lighthouse. Room - peaceful, good size, nicely furnished, good aircon excellent bathroom, large balcony. Staff - Warm, cheerful, not always skilled but try hard to please.

However you have to consider that hotel is located upper position than sea. Going down is ok, but going up to the hotel may be problem for somebody. But it was not problem for us!
