Review 1：Pool could have been a bit warmer! Long walk to the supermarket, not ideal when you are self catering! It's also very close to a busy main road, not a huge problem, but a little off putting. We did visit end of season, which could have been the reason that the pool bar was closed and the area was very quiet. We are happy to walk, so didn't mind the 30 minute stroll to the port each evening to the restaurants, but this wouldn't suit everyone. We did taxi it one night costing €15 return.

Review 2：Very well maintained, clean comfortable with very helpful accommodating staff. Lovely walk along promenade to the port with a few inviting beach bars along the way. Also to able to lay by the pool within earshot of the sea was lovely! Within easy access to Gibraltar, we took the bus there (approx 45 mins) for €3.5 each, and taxied back (we missed the last bus, approx 25 mins) for €38. Would defiantly recommend for a quiet relaxing holiday, but not if you are looking for a bit of entertainment, nothing to do apart from swim and relax!

Review 3：Restaurant food was very basic but expensive,bed was a double but felt like two singles bolted together and was very uncomfortable. Check in was only as late as 10pm.

Review 9：The beach side location of Apartamentos Turísticos Don Juan is great!. I liked the gated access from the back garden on the hotel which takes you directly onto the beach. During my stay, the gardens and pool was very clean and well cared for, the apartment I stayed in was comfortable and very clean. The Hotel staff were very friendly and always willing to assist.

Review 10：It's all about people! The lady, who was the first representative of the hotel that we met, was incredibly helpful, attentive and nice. Other staff was also very good. And the location - it's just 2 minutes by walking from the appartment to the sea. All conditions for perfect vacation.

Review 11：Noise from neighbors due to very thin walls and floors. Closed pool bar (early June) Be aware location to port with lots of restaurants is about 25 minute walk (walk path along beach) - which was not a problem for us.

Review 15：As this is a self-catering place, we had to buy the neccessary small consumables (like salt, washing-up detergent, etc). In similar places, roomkeepers usually leave such small things in the kitchen from the previous guests - we left our stuff there for the next guests, and hope, it was not "cleaned up" after we left. This is insignificant on the cost side, but it is convenient, if one shall not go for a washing up liquid right after arrival.

Review 16：This apart hotel is right on the beach, one can walk to the beach directly from the garden of the hotel. It was very comfortable (good sized bed, in case of our room, we had a separate bedroom), nice view on the see from the balcony. As we were here in October, it was quite silent. Still, based on the number of houses nearby and the size of the beach area, probable the beach is not as much crowded in the high season as other beaches in South Spain. The place was clean, and the garden was very well maintained.

Review 17：There is no late arrival service. If you plan to arrive after 22.00 the reception is closed and you don't get the key (even if you warned the hotel in advance!).

Review 18：Pools didn't open until 11am; Had to rely completely on our car as there were no shops nearby and apart from a couple of beach bars it was 2+ miles to the harbour where most of the restaurants were; the beach bar outside the hotel only served food at lunchtime so no option but to head out with 4 children - nearest restaurant we found was about 20 minutes walk away; beach / sea wasn't great for young children - sloped very quickly; hotel is right on the main road so some apartments were quite noisy; we only stayed for 3 nights but on our last full day there we were told that the pools wouldn't open at all as the person that cleaned them hadn't come - although they did then open at lunchtime, no-one in our party understood enough Spanish to work out what had changed so we were a bit nervous about letting the children in - especially as the water was very green; no beach activities for older children; lower ground floor toilets near the pool were constantly locked so had to take children to our 4th floor apartment several times per day

Review 20：Location was excellent. We had a 2br 2bath apartment , with large balcony overlooking the pool and beach. Beach bar was nearby, suoermarket a long walk or short drive down the road. Very relaxing and away from all the crowds further down the coast. Staff had limited English but still very helpful.

Review 21：Expensive taxi fares to port or Sabinillas. Walk to nearest supermarket over 15 mins. Limited accessories in kitchen ( no cloths or scourers or tea towels).

Review 23：The indoor pools were closed. The Spanish people are very noisy, andbegin their dinner after midnight! The pool boy did not understandEnglish and thus we were unsure if the pool could be used outsideopening hours (11-21). Dogs were not allowed in the hotel, but despitethis, there were several dogs. Some had brought their bird whichstarting singing at 7 in the morning!!

Review 49：The only less fortunate aspect is that the hotel is located near the road. Some rooms are more exposed to it than others. But it is nothing that can't be coped with, really.

Review 50：The place is practically on the beach and quite secluded, not "in the middle of things". That was for us ideal. Appartments are very comfortable and clean, everything is in fact very clean and well managed. The staff are very friendly and really made all our wishes come true.
