Reviews for Hotel Thalasso Cantabrico Las Sirenas

Review 1:On our booking we ask for a quiet room on a higher floor. On arrival we were given a room on the first floor facing the car park and a nightclub. In addition we had teenagers staying in the neighbouring room, who were noisy until 2 in the morning. Overall not great planning from reception, as they did not even bother to give us another room when we asked to be changed.

Review 2:Breakfast Buffet was good, plenty to choose from. Location is okay and the hotel is easy to find.

Review 3:We couldn't do a especial offer for a massage together

Review 4:The amazing views from the room, the staff was kind and cheerful, the room was excellent, the restaurant is really something.

Review 5:- Attention: Free parking without reservation may not be true. Parking is free only on a small driveway to the side of the hotel (maybe 6-7 parking places). There is a garage but it's payed.- Worst cleaning service I ever saw, the bath had not been washed, there were dirty towels hung besides clean ones, looked like they didn't check the room after the last person left. - Cafeteria only serves drinks. There is an expensive panoramic restaurant if you need to eat. Nearby cafés are not within walking distance from the hotel. - Rooms are separated by very thin walls, you can clearly hear your neighbours' conversation, music and such... After midnight we called the reception because we could not rest and nothing was done. - Our room's view looked to a roundabout and busy road... By the advertising you'll think all rooms look to the sea, but there are also other "options". - Hotel staff not very friendly nor helpful.

Review 6:- Behind the hotel there is a small path that gives access to the beach.- The view from the hotel's back is very beautiful. - Nice breakfast, but few choices.

Review 7:The Thalasso Centre was small poorly run and very overcrowded. The Thalasso pool was outside in the cold. The building was in an add on building and not what you would expect. As was the hotel pool in a glass roofed structure like a greenhouse. It all looked a bit makeshift.

Review 8:Excellent room and view. Excellent restaurant.

Review 9:if you do not have a car then it is a little bit far from the city centre

Review 10:Wonderful spacious room with sea-view. Indoor-Pool (glas-covered roof). Terrace on topfloor with wonderful view over harbour, city and sea! Cheap parking in garage for just three Euro. Very good value for the money (90 Euro for such a hotel!). It was the best hotel on a 10-day trip through North of Spain!

Review 11:The minigolf, although fun enough for kids, needs some repair as there are holes and some loose components. Parking is tight to manouver in, but once in, spaces are big and the price is very reasonable. Perhaps a bit pricey, but then again it is high season, so to be expected

Review 12:Spacious room. Great beds. Excellent breakfast assortment. Good restaurant and very nice views from their terrace. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating! Beautiful location! WIFI was fine, in general.

Review 13:Sometimes the connection of wifi was not very stable. As there was no small plate to put the soap, there was always a lot of water on the wash stand.

Review 14:The location, the view of the sea and the breakfast was very good.

Review 15:The long process of checking in. after a long drive to have to wait over 20 mins and signing 3 different documents to get to your room

Review 16:Location was perfect, steps from the hotel down to a beautiful beach, on a sunny day it's crystal clear with little to no waves and shallow for kids also some shady spots available with the trees in the back ground.

Review 17:Only when you are not with personal transportation it is a bit from the old city centre.

Review 18:The rooms are very confi and clean, breakfirst is good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location en Viveiro is a very nice town. Very cheap price that we payed for a hotel that's from 2012. Be chore that you tray the wellness. A had a massage for 50 min and the best ever. Very cheap parking in the basement.

Review 19:Absolutely no written information was provided in the rooms as to the facilities available and breakfast times etc. Taxis to/from Hotel are more expensive than you would expect due to distance they have to travel to reach you from the taxi rank.

Review 20:Good swimming pool but must remember to bring swimming caps! Easy access to a very pretty small cove with a lovely beach Food is excellent, especially if you like big portions.

Review 21:The hotel is not as shiny-sparkling-excellent as the pictures indicate but still is in good shape. The breakfast was not included in the price and was rather expensive 10euro/person/day.

Review 22:You could hear the waves of the sea while sleeping, exactly on top of a story telling coastline. The trees and sea views from the room were amazing. Clean and with very helpful stuff. A wonderful restaurant on the last flour with fantastic view and nice food in very reasonable prices. Free access to the nearby pool.

Review 23:Parking under building was a little tight.

Review 24:Location Modern well kept building and facilities Brillant roof top bar with stunning view. Very helpful staff.

Review 25:Awe go back time and again. Good location with beach and coastal walk on doorstep. Views are lovely.

Review 26:Although lot of parking places around the hotel, it was not easy to find an empty one

Review 27:Modern room with nice sea view

Review 28:Modern, clean, helpful staff, excellent food, great location near the beach

Review 29:Perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. We Did not take advantage of all the other facilities that were on offer so we cannot comment.

Review 30:The Spa, the view , the size of the room, the small gift basket, everything very enjoyable !!Will stay there again !

Review 31:Nothing

Review 32:The spas were lovely and relaxing. The dinner was delicious. The view from the roof garden

Review 33:Great views. Modern hotel with nicely appointed rooms.

Review 34:Staff in the reception incompetent (poor customer relationship management). The assigned room was very different from previous stays.

Review 35:Everything was just great. We absolutly enjoyed our stay in that hotel.

Review 36:Way too expensive for a 4* hotel, and breakfast & parking not included

Review 37:Good restaurant, nice spacious room

Review 38:Our stay was too short!

Review 39:The quality of food and service in the panoramic restaurant were excellent. The sea front room offered spectacular views across the bay. Cannot rate this hotel highly enough.

Review 40:We visited in a cool early June but the hotel seemed really over heated. Sitting in the bar another guest asked for the temperature to be turned down.

Review 41:Excellent position, lovely sea view. Large room, with very comfortable bed.

Review 42:The hotel promotes itself as a Spa. Well, the hotel doesn't have a Spa. There's another building that has a Spa. But we didn't bother to check it since it was only open from 16.30 until 20 and you needed to pay to use it. The breakfast on the first day included only juice/tea/coffee and bread/croissant. On the second day the buffet was open but it didn't have much either. Not worth it. Not continental at all.

Review 43:The view. The room was nice and clean.

Review 44:This is personal, some people may not agree with us. Well, read and make your opinion (we are used to british style of caring about tourists, where everyone`s always ready&willing to help you, give an idea, info, best way to do, optimise your route and so on): hotel is in Covas which is 5-7 minutes drive to Viveiro local bus station; 6am we are checking out and asking for taxi that is late till utmost; heavy shower, dark, big bagguage...; all in rush and nerved up, we are taking our bus (eventually!) which is the only one suits our transfer; imagine our emotions when we watch us onboard passing right 10 meters close to our hotel with bus stop being active!((( No one told us about this stop, no one asked where we are going to, no one gave an advice to come down a few meters and catch a bus easily! We paid for taxi, we rushed and nerved ourselves - and all is just to pass by our hotel one more time, haha! You know, this is hardly ever possible to catch all such details before building your route, it`s normal to expect some active assistance from hotel and local people - but... Perhaps we just have high standarts and people are not to blame for not being attentive to other ones details.

Review 45:absolutely everything from the first sight to the last minute! we are builders so can appreciate all the things done, materials, ideas, investments. bravo!

Review 46:The pool area was not that great with worn down sunbeds/loungers. Ok to require use of bathing caps, but poor facilities for showering before use of the pool. Viveiro as town is rather uninteresting.

Review 47:Very nice roof terrace and public beach close to the hotel. Good food in restaurant to reasonable prices.

Review 48:This is certainly not a thallaso Hotel which it claims to be.When approached about this the manager refused at first to speak to us.There is a separate independent facility nearby, which has nothing to do with the hotel. It is not a four star!!!

Review 49:Clean,well equipped,restfully

Review 50:Really enjoyed the dinners served in their restaurant on the 5th floor. Very creative and delicious! Breakfast was over priced and not great at all, served in a banquet room.

Review 51:We reported a broken door and shower, however no action was taken duringour stay. The restaurant on the top floor is disappointing.

Review 52:Spectacular view of the bay (bay view does cost extra). Beautifulsurroundings.

Review 53:Everything was fantastic !

Review 54:Excellent help from reception staff
