Reviews for Chambres d'Hôtes Aux Tournesols

Review 1:No one there to greet us and no one knew where she was or what time she would be back. Wifi only available in one outside area. Room very very dusty. Hair in bath toilet rim dirty. Stair to bed area dangerous.

Review 2:Challenging directions to the place but the owners sent very helpful guides

Review 3:The owners were the most hospitable we met on this trip . They were very inclusive of the guests from various countries The meal was delightful A very comfortable stay we also received helpful with information on the area

Review 4:- Beautiful property surrounded by vineyards and orchards. - Very helpful hosts, in terms of finding accomodation, planning bike trips etc. - Delicious and rich breakfast.

Review 5:Dangerous stairs to sleeping area, uncared for grounds, minimal self catering equipment, noise transmission through very thin walls, privacy limited.

Review 6:Quiet country location and atmosphere. Very pleasant and helpful hosts. Proximity to Malaucene with its numerous good value restaurants.

Review 7:There was very little not to like! The room had no equipment or facility for making a hot drink.

Review 8:The Chambres d'Hotes is situated in a lovely rural location among cherry orchards but so close to Malaucene that you can easily visit and eat dinner there. It is also well located for touring the Ventoux and famous wine villages including Beaume de Venise and Gigondas. The room was attractively arranged on two levels and had air-conditioning so it was very comfortable. The breakfast was basic but good including home produced preserves. There is a swimming pool. Good value and suitable for longer than an overnight stay.

Review 9:In a lovely setting amongst orchards only minutes from Malaucene and good restaurants. Bike rider's paradise surrounded by delightful villages and quiet roads.Good breakfasts with home-made jams in a dining room with loads of character. The host always took time and effort to make our stay an absolute pleasure .

Review 10:Great location for a bit of cycling. Comfortable, quite and scenic location. Nice breakfasts and staff were helpful

Review 11:Nothing really

Review 12:Tranquility, friendliness of staff, nothing too much trouble value for money.

Review 13:Too short a stay.

Review 14:The owners were friendly and very accommodating. They were more than willing to help in resolving problems and personalizing my stay. I particularly enjoyed conversing with them and sharing in an evening meal. The room was absolutely splendid (I had one of the rooms that is accessed from the back through glass doors) and was a great step beyond the typical and obvious four walls. The location, while off the main roads provided a wonderful setting taht is still within reach of the village. I appreciate the laid back approach to hosting.

Review 15:The stairs to the mezzanine bedrooms and ceiling height are slightly awkward for taller people, and the cats are a little intrusive.

Review 16:The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The home-cooked dinner an breakfasts used local produce and were some of the best we'd had in France for a reasonable price. The atmosphere is very congenial, the pool is lovely and the setting is classic southern France. Great proximity to Malaucene for cycling.

Review 17:Dangerous guard dog which bit me, causing a tear in my trousers. No warning sign, no signs outside showing entrance to gite as opposed to private side of the house. Poor WIFI signal, only available at one specific spot in the garden.

Review 18:Friendly, multi- lingual hostess. Good food, nice family type atmosphere at table d'hote.

Review 19:Beautiful place in a relaxing countryside scenery, close to Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles of MontMirail. The hosts, Corrine and Laurent, are nice, kind, friendly, welcoming lovely people.

Review 20:Beautiful rooms/ grounds. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Delicious dinners. A perfect place to stay to experience Provence and Mont Ventoux. Highly recommend!!

Review 21:Everything, real paradise

Review 22:No tv in room. No wifi in room. Late breakfast.

Review 23:Great wellcome and food
