Reviews for Les Jardins Du Cèdre

Review 1:No lights in stairway, we used a torch until we eventually found the switches, Poor bathroom with no shower. Expensive for what it is.

Review 2:Superb Location just above Port Vendres , 10mtrs from the end of the main road. You are there instantly if driving, Parking, Terrace & Sea views - the place just looks good. But Try Collioure a beautiful village 3km away

Review 3:Just a one night stay, very pleasant, lovely bathroom, overlooked the main road, but room was soundproof so no problems. Staff in reception, friendly and helpful. Good parking. Would stay again.

Review 4:The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The position of the hotel was excellent with brilliant views out to sea and it was lovely to eat outside with these views and underneath the cedar trees. We will more than likely return.

Review 5:The rooms are a bit dated and the wifi would probably work better on 2nd floor if staff knew the code for it rather than log in to slow and distant ground floor router. A broken lightbulb was reported on day one and repeated several times & never replaced.

Review 6:Definitely the nicest hotel in a port Vendres - the pool looks amazing and the location is an easy walk from lots of restaurants.

Review 7:Everything about the Hotel - we passed by one afternoon trying to escape the hordes just to the north and on the spur of the moment decided to stay the night - primarily attracted by the lovely pool - we liked it so much we stayed on for another day and then returned 2 weeks later - we will be returning and would heartily recommend.

Review 8:It was a bit noisy with the windows open.

Review 9:Nice hotel, lovely pool

Review 10:Nothing

Review 11:X-rays parking of car, and lovely cool pool

Review 12:Rooms quite small

Review 13:Good location for walking in the area, excellent wifi & swimming pool.

Review 14:WiFi signal could be improved

Review 15:Quiet setting with nice facilities and pool/garden. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Good food.

Review 16:it was all good

Review 17:lovely experience. ... welcoming and friendly

Review 18:Poor wifi in room

Review 19:Lovely staff Good food Great location

Review 20:Not being in the main hotel the free Wi-Fi was not available. The bar had no tonic but it was early in the season.

Review 21:Stayed in suite on outside of hotel 2 bedrooms huge bathroom all new. Handy location for Port Vendre and restaurants.

Review 22:After travelling for more than seven hours by car from our home in the Correze, we learnt from the receptionist that the hotel dining room was closed. Although tired we then had a 20 minute walk into town where eventually we found a restaurant where we were made welcome. We had originally planned on taking our Labrador dog, thankfully we did'nt as the room was not big enough to swing the proverbial cat never mind a 7 year old canine.

Review 23:Good location above the town.

Review 24:Wonderful restaurant and comfortable hotel in a lovely setting overlooking Port Vendres. Restaurant so good we ate in both nights of our stay. Good choice of breakfast and beautifully presented.

Review 25:carpet on stairs needs replacing. no elevator and better rooms are on 2nd floor

Review 26:good location for excellent fish restaurant Pujol on sea front. I accidentally left my travel mirror in the bathroom and the following day, reception telephoned to advise me of this.

Review 27:Breakfast good but a little over-priced and restaurant same. Dined inPort-Vendres and Banyuls in evening -more choice at a better price.

Review 28:Quiet location but very easy access to Port-Vendres (on foot), Collioureand Banyuls by car. Excellent small but very clean swimming pool withviews over the bay of Port-Vendres.

Review 29:Tea/ coffee facilities in room would have been nice but not essential (breakfast a bit pricey)

Review 30:Lovely place, great views, very polite staff who were very respectful of our privacy.

Review 31:No dislikes

Review 32:The staff were excellent - friendly, efficient and helpful. We dined in the hotel both nights and the food was of a very high standard. The position is good - about 10 minutes walk downhill to the heart of Port Vendre, and 15 minutes back. The room was very comfortable and it was worth the extra for the views of the garden and the sea.

Review 33:Without paying a 10€ supplement we would have had a room facing the mainroad with accompanying noise. Standard double room a bit sparse. Afterour evening dinner, breakfast was disappointing, however, we were upearly and in a hurry to leave so would have mentioned it if we had hadmore time.

Review 34:Excellent position overlooking the harbour and sea with stiff climb backto the hotel after visiting the harbour. Staff were very helpful andspoke excellent English. Inexpensive cost of the rooms belies theexpensive but excellent quality of the evening dinner.

Review 35:Top floor an no help with cases . Decor very tired.

Review 36:Location

Review 37:good food friendliness garden/pool

Review 38:Slightly difficult to get back onto road again, right on a corner.

Review 39:Staff extremely helpful and kind.

Review 40:Our second visit, yes, we enjoy our stay at this property.

Review 41:Very cosy and romantic, got to spend the afternoon in the room due to rain and it was worth every euro!

Review 42:Restaurant - food - service

Review 43:Swimming pool

Review 44:Such a wonderful location, the pool area great and the breakfast very enjoyable and then an easy walk down to the port.

Review 45:Poor choice on menu. Food good but expensive. Hotel expensive for where it was and facilities.

Review 46:Convenient for exploring the area.

Review 47:Location close to Collioure(20 minute walk, 5 in car) difficult to get a hotel in collioure. 5 minutes walk to Port-Vendres. Plenty of restaurants.

Review 48:Fantastic spot. stayed a few times before, ideal for port restaurants.
