Reviews for Le Blueberry

Review 1:Staff were often unhelpful and gave the impression that customers were an inconvenience. Room security wasn't great - dodgy door key.

Review 2:Good central location. Rooms were basic but adequate

Review 3:Manager and staff generally quite poor and antipatici. Clients seem to be considered a nuisance and an inconvenience. Inadequate bike storage - unlocked during the day; and an unsympathetic approach from Fabrice the manager. Rooms in need a facelift. I would not stay here again and would recommend others to find alternatives, mainly due to the attitude of staff and management.

Review 4:Location for cycling Ventoux

Review 5:Shower was a little leaky. Room was a bit small and sparse but OK.

Review 6:Friendly and very helpful staff despite our lack of fluency in French. Maids were extremely friendly and helpful, most of the restaurant was very cheerful and made big efforts to understand my wife's English.

Review 7:The front staff were far from friendly as well as the lady at the bar who checked us out. This put a damper on things. Felt very rushed for no reason. Breakfast was served no plates or napkins just a basket of bread with coffee ...everything else was good value location cleanliness. But would not go back because if staff. The lady cleaning the room was kind.

Review 8:There was no toilet in the room and the communal toilet was smelly and always running out of paper. The desk had a sign that they speak English but no one does.

Review 9:Bike storage was ok

Review 10:Loud live music from across the road late at night and the handheld shower was barely passable

Review 11:Had wifi in my room even though it is supposedly only avail in the cafe downstairs

Review 12:The staff seemed constantly preoccupied like they'd seen Ventoux cyclists all before...

Review 13:I liked the backpacker style of the place and other guests were all of the same ilk

Review 14:Breakfast poor french standard (at least for cyclists)

Review 15:Quite big room. Located right at the center, but not to noisy. Good bicycle shed. Good value.

Review 16:Hotel is at one of the main streets in Malaucène, it was very noisy at night. Bathroom was good for taking a bath, but if you want to take a shower, you have to hold the showerhead the whole time because it wasn't possible to fix it on the wall. The doors of several hotel rooms jammed and could only close with a big bang, resounding in the whole hotel. Wifi connection didn't work very well. Personnel claimed it was a new system and guests with 'older equipment' were having trouble connecting to it. I had my 1-year-old iPad with me...

Review 17:Room was very comfortable. Nice large bathroom. Personnel was very kind. Good food at the restaurant. Location of the hotel at the start of the Mont Ventoux ascent from Malaucène, ideal for cycling.

Review 18:Friends bike broke

Review 19:The hotel was pleasent enormough considering that we were spending next to no time there beyond sleep. The facilities were sufficient for that however the location is perfect in the middle of the town. The town itself has plenty of facilities like restaurant's and a supermarket there is also a pleasent bar at the blueberry.

Review 20:I now have a lower definition below basic. No wardrobe no dresser, drawers. I can overlook all this as it's rustic. However not having a shower head fixed to the wall is poor really, I had to stand holding the shower over my head as my arm got gradually tried......

Review 21:Location on local high street next to bars and supermarchie

Review 22:Parking - no dedicated parking and the parking in the town was restricted during the day.

Review 23:Staff were very helpful, had a secure room for storing bikes - were happy to unlock this for us at 6.30am so we could climb the mountain before breakfast. Food was very good in the evening

Review 24:I would have liked to have wifi in my room instead of the restaurant only.

Review 25:Simple, clean in heart of town. They stored my luggage for a day while I waited for a ride.

Review 26:noisy

Review 27:good beds, friendly staff

Review 28:Breakfast limited

Review 29:New on suite

Review 30:Insecure bike storage facility. Staff arrogant and rude.

Review 31:Location for cycling Mont Ventoux and the surrounding area.

Review 32:town and surroundings

Review 33:Nothing

Review 34:Perfect location

Review 35:Newly refurbished shower room. Good restaurant. Ideal for cyclists.

Review 36:Room

Review 37:Position in the town, the restaurant annexed, WiFi,

Review 38:Toilet all the way down the hall. A bit of TV noise from other rooms.

Review 39:Right at the bottom of the Mont Ventoux climb in the middle of town

Review 40:No toilet in the room

Review 41:Cheap and cheerfu

Review 42:Very thin walls so rooms were noisy, especially with a large group also in residence!

Review 43:Great location for cycling and friendly staff.

Review 44:there was no hairdryer available for use

Review 45:location in the village centre, no nonsence, friendly staff, nice french breakfast at the sunny terrace

Review 46:Ideally located for cyclists wishing to tackle Mt Ventoux

Review 47:The street noise even til quite late at night was bothersome. I also would prefer to have wifi in my room. I felt I needed to purchase food to sit in their cafe to use the internet.

Review 48:Rooms looking to the outside are not well noise-isolated. The owners have to put in better windows (in terms of noise cancellation) for these rooms. What good is a hotel if you cannot sleep till 1am?

Review 49:Reasonable price, room interior was fine

Review 50:After 15 min waiting next to reception desk, we had to search for receptionist to check in by ourselfs - nobody didn't come, it seams the nearby restaurant was the priority (not hotel visitors) Because of some problems the wi-fi was not working that day - didn't quite undersood why because the staff didn't speak a word in English - French only.

Review 51:Nice quite old building, old fashioned furniture (in the nice way), in the center of town, with no big difficulties with parking lot in it.

Review 52:Breakfast was bread, butter, jam and a croissant with juice and a hot drink for 6.5 euros.

Review 53:Clean and simple. Its main business is a cafe with clean simple hotel rooms upstairs.

Review 54:None of the hotels rooms has a private toilet. Som has a shower (minedid). Staff has only little knowladge of English, however all info iswriten in French, German and English.

Review 55:Everthing. Cheap, high quality, simple, nice bed and linnen, cheap andvery god and solid restaurant. Central (if your porpose is to climb montventoux). Simply the best budget hotel I have ever stayed at. Beats alot of 3 stared hotels at 3x times the price

Review 56:Late night noise from bars and surrounding area.

Review 57:Central location, friendly & helpful staff (who prepared my porridge each morning), good reasonably priced food, bike storage

Review 58:Big room and a reasonable price

Review 59:handheld shower

Review 60:Honest and good value for money

Review 61:No working internet!

Review 62:a bit noisy (you can hear next door)

Review 63:easy to find, easy to park (free)

Review 64:Simple but adequate. Not a fancy place but nothing wrong with it.

Review 65:The mattress was very bad. We didn't sleep well. You have to changed them.

Review 66:the staff was very friendly
