Reviews for Sercotel Rosaleda Don Pedro

Review 1:Couldn't get the air con to work properly and the room was cold. Bar staff were abrupt. There was no atmosphere. But we were there just one night so it didn't really matter.

Review 2:Beautiful position in the centre of town. Easy parking. Friendly welcome. Comfy bed in a big room

Review 3:It was an extremely pleasant experience. Hotel staff were exceptionally nice. Staff made us very welcome. Hotel is located in the centre of everything. Good value for money. Very pleasant and comfortable.

Review 4:awful smell in the lobby: a mix of old kitchen smells, rancid frying oil, cheap detergent, ammonia… It really spoiled the stay.

Review 5:the location is good, in central old Úbeda. The rooms are correct. The pool is small but nice, with a nice patio.

Review 6:I was happy w the hotel however there was painting and decorating going on while I was there. I got a good rate on the room from booking.com but when you are forced to listen to drilling and hammering late in the evening the booking.com rate does not seem so 'good' anymore

Review 7:Staff were cool and the small pool was refreshing

Review 8:The free municipal parking is a little far. The restaurant of the hotel, which seemed very good, was unfortunately empty. Room giving directly on the street on the ground floor. The swimming-pool is much smaller than it looks on photos. 2 beds instead of 1 double bed.

Review 9:Very calm and near places of interest. The breakfast.

Review 10:Bathroom quite badly lit, a little dirty in the shower runners and unclean towels left in corner (so only one clean set) on arrival in room.

Review 11:The hotel's friendliness and the fact that could park a car in secure basement

Review 12:Hot water came from electric heater so constantly hot then cold shower. Very dated. Bathroom particularly in need of replacement. Breakfast unexciting and coffee dreadful.

Review 13:Large comfortable beds.

Review 14:The bathroom was not up to scratch. The standards and cleanliness was very poor and all the plugs to the sanitary wear, bath tub, sink and bidet were broken and just left on the side. As a former luxury bathroom designer, there is no excuse for lazy maintenance that should have been carried out before we arrived. I was too embarrassed to complain in front of my partner. Also the bed mattresses were sunk in the middle, so sleeping wasn´t very good. Overall the location was great but unfortunately for a 3 star hotel, this is over rated and has probably relied on its location. We had left a 2 day stay in Solobre where we stayed at a great little 2 star hotel where the standards were and finishing s were fantastic, so it was really disappointing to what we thought was ending our holiday break with a romantic 2 day stay to a 3 star, which did not live up to its description.

Review 15:The location and parking was very good

Review 16:private exterior parking was a bit difficult to find and a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Review 17:This hotel was an old palace, full of charm and character. It has been carefully modernised with large spacious bedrooms, and friendly staff. We ate in the restaurant, which was nice and good value. The historical town is well worth a visit, and very close to the hotel.

Review 18:Rooms were a bit depressing (we asked for a different one and were given a choice of 3) and for the price I would have expected a fridge and maybe a kettle in the room.

Review 19:Excellent location, free wifi, on site parking, helpful staff, good and inexpensive breakfast buffet. Our 2nd floor room was quiet even on New Years Eve.

Review 20:Difficult to find down extremely narrow one way streets. I had to get out of the car to guide my husband when there was only a couple of inches clearance either side of the car. Our bathroom had a dirty shower curtain and tiling. We were told all the other rooms were full.

Review 21:Located near central sights. The restaurant was good value for money with a range of choice.

Review 22:What a great hotel, which carried through the feeling of the renaissance town. This was conveniently located, it was just a shame that we didnt have the time to enjoy the spa, which looked beautiful

Review 23:Chose it because it features parking, was surprised to find that parking costs 10 euros a day and it took us 2 hours to find it, driving around and around the one way historic centre and bashing up the car down narrow cobbled street. Better off to choose somewhere further out of the centre where parking is free and easy.

Review 24:Comfortable beds, quiet, clean, modern.

Review 25:Evening meal seemed to be only geared to the menu del dia. But they did provide me with some vegetables a la plancha when I didn´t want a large meal. Again very helpful.

Review 26:Restaurant staff very helpful over my dietary needs. Also one of the waiters learnt very quickly how to make me a decent pot of tea! Staff overall were pleasant and helpful. Hotel very central. Free wifi in room was brilliant.

Review 27:Situation and ease of walking to historical locations

Review 28:Spar was closed and very dismal . Bedrooms lacked storage space

Review 29:Hotel was very pleasant including staff

Review 30:Noisy first night, had to make a complaint to the reception, breakfast just about acceptable,

Review 31:Convenient location to the centre. Rooms spacious

Review 32:awful design, awful parking, awful room, insects, disgusting smell, need extra cleaning, reception guy was not helpful at all

Review 33:located in the center

Review 34:Situation

Review 35:Car park a little tight not suitable for large cars

Review 36:Easy acsess for wheelchair, easy walking for all sites.

Review 37:Value for money have stayed in better hotels in Spain for sa,e price

Review 38:Location to the centre of town

Review 39:Breakfast very poor. No hot food available. No hot water for tea and coffee only just warm.

Review 40:Upgrade room a must, standard rooms are very poor. Hotel was poorly maintained and parts of hotel need a bit of TLC.

Review 41:Location

Review 42:Nothing found

Review 43:Location and price

Review 44:Limited parking requires prebooking

Review 45:Excellent breakfast buffet Large comfortable rooms Indoor parking Free wifi

Review 46:the pillow was a bit hard.

Review 47:breakfast was fantastic. The price was good. The rooms are big. Wifi internet is free. Location is perfect in Ubeda

Review 48:Room booked (with balcony) was not available. Price reduction only after discusion. Hotel with no flair or atmosphere. Bad smelling.

Review 49:Hotel is in own center.

Review 50:Wifi signal is average but it was not a problem for us.

Review 51:We booked a double room but they gave us a junior suite which is amazing, best hotel room we ever stayed in. If you have a chance to book that, do it. It is on two levels, includes one bathroom with a double jacuzzi, very modern shower and toilet and then another toilet/ sink on the upper level. Upper level has the sleeping area and wardrobe as well. Lower level has a sitting and eating area. There's a TV on each level. The streets in Ubeda are very narrow and there are lots of one way streets. We ended up parking nearby and did not use the hotel's parking.

Review 52:It was difficult to arrive by car. The staff suggested us to park our car in the garage entrance to take the luggage and just when we arrive to the room still carrying the luggage they called us saying our car bothers in the entrance.

Review 53:The hotel has a ramp to acces with the baby trolley.

Review 54:The first night the room was very cold ,and the room was very basic.thebathroom was terrible.we complain and the second night we went backthey move us .

Review 55:Location was good for beening near town.

Review 56:It was in need of renovation. The staff were not particularly helpful. The lift which took the car to the garage was terrible for a big car - it was so tight we only had a centimetre on each side

Review 57:The location

Review 58:The hotel car park is accessed via a 'car lift' with a narrow opening and you can see where many visitors have damaged their cars. Best not to use it if you have a big or new car. Some areas of the hotel also looked a bit tired by comparison with the pictures on the website.

Review 59:The hotel is located within the old town of Ubeda which is very picturesque. Ubeda itself is set high in the mountains and the views driving to and from it are quite spectacular.

Review 60:Our only trouble was actually getting to the front door. The sat nav said go up a very narrow lane in a very tight turn and I missed it. Carried on and found the hotel up a one way street. The signage for the hotel needs to be more obvious. Winge over.

Review 61:We were travelling on motorcycles and the secure parking was excellent. Underground via a lift. we only stayed one night and did not have much time to look around what I'm sure would be an interesting town. Good wee cafe/bar two right turns from the hotel front door. a comfortable stay, would recommend to friends.

Review 62:But the workers can not do anything about the hotel. The hotel is bad.It need all new facelift inside and outside. It was not cleand, the bedwas very bad to sleep. The restorant is bad bad. And they asking moneyfor parking later when I checking out. It can be very nice hotel whentheare is new owners who has better ideas about hotel !!!

Review 63:People who was working in the hotel is nice.

Review 64:Ongezellige kamer zonder verwarming terwijl het buiten 10 graden was. Hotel is moeilijk te vinden, ligt in de oude binnenstad met nauwe straatjes en eenrichtingswegen.

Review 65:Vriendelijk personeel

Review 66:Very helpful staff making for a very pleasant stay.

Review 67:location

Review 68:In the heart of the historical centre, a very comfortable room, good breakfast and helpful staff

Review 69:All good!

Review 71:- Poor Wi-Fi

Review 72:-The Old City was nice

Review 73:Proximity to the sights of Ubeda. Good parking.

Review 74:Excellent base to visit a fascinating and enjoyable city.Great secure parking-takes your vehicle down in a huge lift.

Review 75:There is a cargo lift to the hotel's underground garage. Although the lift seems to be quite narrow, we succeeded to get in with a Mercedes.

Review 76:Staff helpful. The pool was very welcome at the end of a long hot trip.

Review 77:Difficult to find on Sat Nav. because of one way systems.

Review 78:Very convenient for all the historical places to visit in the town

Review 79:getting in and out of the carpark. pool very small.

Review 80:Location, Ubeda is brilliant. Friendly welcoming, comfy.

Review 81:Difficult to find parking difficult

Review 82:Everything

Review 83:Wifi only in public places, food average. Probably better to eat elsewhere.
