Reviews for La Closerie Côté Casino
Review 1:apartment was not cleaned properly when we arrived (dirty floors, dishwasher not emptied)
Review 2:- great location - responsive staff. the switch from show to bath was not working (bath only). we reported it and they replaced the taps and shower by end of the day
Review 3:Plates were chipped and dirty. Reception was closed when we arrived at 7pm. The receptionist told us on the phone that we 10 min walk from the port at Caen, which is why I booked it. It was actually a half hour drive. Consequently we nearly missed our ferry home. Parking was a nightmare.
Review 4:There was plenty of space in the family suite.
Review 5:Very old sofa (not suitable for sleeping adults), limited and quite old kitchen supplies: scratched cooking pan, rusty potato peeler, only small and very big pans. No manual for the microwave, and staff did not know how to use it.
Review 6:The swimming pool, and the closeness to the sea. Very friendly and helpful staff. They helped us out by providing normal-sized tea cups and additional tea spoons (there were only three at first) after we asked for them.
Review 7:The sofa bed was really uncomfortable. The door of the freezer was absent which cause my food to freeze in the fridge. The bathroom was really small and not convenient. There were no ventilation other the stove. The washer was not functioning. The dishes were unsuffisant. They give us a oven plate that did not fit in the oven!!! There were no shutter on the windows, etc... A place to avoid.
Review 8:The location of the hotel
Review 9:Room wasn't made up when we arrived, so had to wait 30 minutes or so for that. The building is old, but a bit tatty and dusty in areas. In need of a bit I love and updating.
Review 10:Great location for restaurants and sea front. Parking easy on the street outside. Reasonable breakfast. Good for an over night stop to break up a long drive back to Calais.
Review 11:Cleanliness - none
Review 12:Location; staff
Review 13:Sofa bed in main room, no air con
Review 14:Location, style of hotel, mini kitchen , heated pool, Cabourg, separate double bedroom.
Review 15:The only bad thing was the pool needed a bit of TLC
Review 16:Location good, kids enjoyed the pool
Review 17:Reception did not open until 10.00 and I think breakfast was 0900, we had to wait for both
Review 18:Location
Review 19:Hotel is within easy walking distance from all of the local attractions.
Review 20:Accommodation very poor. Local youths drinking, smoking and using the pool at 5am with no one from the hotel on site to deal with. Over priced for poor accommodation. No parking. Hotel ignored complaint and never responded to email. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in do not take children. No lift. Apartments have very poor furnishing and toilets do not flush.
Review 21:Location.
Review 22:For the money, the rooms and equipment should be kept up better.
Review 23:The location is great and the rooms are comfortable. It's nice to have a kitchenette.
Review 24:Just felt the floor in the room hadn't been cleaned very well- i wouldn't walk on it in bare feet. But everything else was spotless.
Review 25:Great location. Lovely spacious well equipped rooms. Swimming pool was fantastic and clean.
Review 26:Butiful villa, very private, has a fenced territory, both appartments had spacious living area and a kitchenett. Public parking near by. Shopping street and the beach in a short walking distance, yet no music in the night.
Review 27:Actually it is not a hotel rather an apartment hotel and in this way itis good and the price is ok We expected a hotel it must be clear in thehotel info in booking.com
Review 28:Facility itself was rather old, but acceptable. Check in, check out timequite limited.
