Review 1:when we checked out, the female staff was not professional; she forgot many things....we had to go back to front desk asking for proof of checking out ( even though we showed the receipt to bell captain).... the building is kind of old.

Review 13:The place was really nice, we only stayed 1 night (booked due to a flight change) and wanted to make the last night special. I booked a suite with an ocean view with hot tub and a choice of extra pillow which was great. We ate in the asian restaurant which was gorgeous. I don't think for the amount of time spent there that it was quite worth 500 euro for a night, check in 3pm although we did get our key just after 2 check out at 12 (we left at 11 due to pick up) but i cant say there is anything I could complain about

Review 21:We totally fall in love with everything about the hotel. From the second we entered it till the second we left it. We couldn't have wished for a better place for our honeymoon. We totally recommend Hyatt Zilara for any honeymooner that seeks an all-inclusive experience. We guess that nothing will be able to exceed it.
Review 22:Be very careful when you are booking your room. Me and my husband came here for our honeymoon and when we went to check in, they told me that I had only booked for one person! So we had to pay an extra $700+! I looked back on the booking website and noticed that some rooms stated max 1 person. Something I had not noticed before booking and I think it's very cheeky of them as the room was a double. I've booked many double rooms on booking.com and I've never thought twice that it might just be for one person. The receptionist told us it's not the first time it's happened to people booking though this site, so I think they are doing it on purpose to catch people out and get extra money from guests. What else are people going to do once they've flown all the way to Mexico? They can't exactly change their mind and go home. I'm just glad we had enough money to pay it. Paying the extra 700+ made the trip not worth the money at all.

Review 24:Room had a jacuzzi on one side which took up much too much space making room feel a bit cramped. Balcony had two very uncomfortable chairs and no table. Dinner restaurants not great. The best one was booked the night we were there. Nice waiters but food not very good and no atmosphere at all at the Mexican restaurant on the property.
Review 25:Warm, welcoming staff. Large balcony overlooking the ocean. Close enough to hear the waves! Nice outdoor patio with good view for breakfast -- food very good. Service good. Long beach to walk on. Swim-up bar.Bar off main lobby very lively and fun. Quiet room.
Review 26:I didn't like that we weren't allowed to sun bathe topless by the pool...and because I'm a single 25 year old female, the couples and mature crowd was a let down...it's great for honey mooners, couples and a mature crowd. If you're single, wanting to mingle- you won't find that here- but it certainly has everything else!
Review 27:Absolutely breath taking. Beautiful all inclusive food, gorgeous pools, the spa was amazing and I had the best sports massage right on the beach. Definitely 5 stars +++ I would highly recommend people here. I'm hard to please but this place? One of the best resorts I've ever stayed at- that and the Hilton in Kona Island Hawaii...

Review 29:Fast service. Fast meals. Fast elevator. Everything was fast !! The indoor activities, the schedule is very good. I spent too much time outside the hotel and I realized that I should have stayed more in and less out to enjoy everything. My girlfriend was delighted with the service and the view of the room. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. Even Bose sound system to watch movies inside the room. Cocobongo just few minutes away. The restaurants are very good. My cocobonga and I we are coming back here for sure :)

Location is good there's bus to the shopping malls and nite life clubs next to hotel gate. Will definitely stay in this hotel again on my next vacation in Cancún.

Review 56:The wifi is terrible. No wifi in the pool area. No air conditioning in the common areas and the restaurants felt very hot. The temperature in the room would not go below 24 degrees C. It was to warm.

Review 64:We think that the Hyatt needs a good sommelier. We once had a good winefor mex$800 in the Maria Maria afterwards this wine was not availanymore. In every restaurant the wine was still mentioned but not avail!Diner in the Chef's Plate should be a great issue, but.. . it wasnot! We (3 guests) had a reservation for Thu Aug13th at 9 pm, with 16other guests. The menu had 7 courses and it was served as in a canteen!Small portions (ok) but in such a fast way that we where out of therestaurant in 1.15 H. We could not even drink our wine properly. And thein-between lemon sorbet was a sweet melting dulce-the-leche part, verysweet and did not fit at all.

Review 72:The WiFi is not great, as almost everywhere in Mexico, especially in the room. Generally, all-inclusive is just not our cup of tea, as it turned out. Many drunk people around as early as 11 am, boring and not much to see in the area. Also, not the hotel's fault, but there is seaweed and the sea is out of question. They could have looked for creative ways to keep the seaweed out, or at least build some temporary bridges further from the shore, where there is no seaweed, but they just don't. Not everyone likes to swim in the pool. But this is just us - if you are into all-inclusive, pool, and free drinks all day long - this is a nice option for you.

Review 92:There must be a booking system introduced for the restaurants, guests shouldn't be turned away or asked to wait over an hour to be seated for dinner at dinner time! Very little snacks available in room. Room service menu is appalling! The hotel chose to hold an evening event to celebrate 'Mexican Day', this meant closing all available restaurants and forcing guests to eat in the Ballroom or else go somewhere outside of the hotel - this was totally unacceptable! We chose the Hyatt Zilara as an 'all inclusive' and felt this was deceptive and a sneaky way for the hotel to save money. . This was suppose to be a relaxing end to our hectic vacation yet we were woken every morning to the sound of loud music and the daily activities being called over a P.A. system. Internet connection was terrible unless you were in your room, everywhere else across the resort dropped out. I did not feel there was any value for money whatsoever in fact, I felt like I was being taken for a ride. Very disappointing! I will not be recommending anyone to stay at this hotel.

Isso significou sermos privados dos privilégios da nossa categoria. Reservei um jantar romântico que só não foi uma tragédia porque estávamos de muito bom humor. Só conseguimos a suite pela qual pagamos depois de muita reclamação. Hyatt Zylara nunca mais.The choice of the hotel coudn't be worse. We booked a suite front of the sea and they put us in a suite on the ground, with no privacy (where we found cockroaches) and a category far below that for which we paid. That meant being deprived of the privileges of our expensive category. I booked a romantic dinner that was not only a tragedy because we were in a good mood. We only got the suite that we pay after much complaint. Hyatt Zylara, never more.

From your check-in, to the lunch, to the pool area, to the bars, to the room service: everyone at Hyatt Zilara is committed to make you feel awesome! Food is delicious and you can eat at 6 or 7 different restaurants, experience international cuisine and "tailor" your own food at the buffet. The menus have more than 10 options of entree each, so you can return to the same place and eat a completely different dish - and the mesero (waiter) knows the name of your local soccer club! Exercising is also a lot of fun with Edoardo - yoga - and the other guys at the pool area, where you can practice acquaerobics every noon. Ale is the perfect concierge, and she is really trying to make your experience unforgettable by helping you in every situation - like, for example, taking a bus to Plaza las Americas. I am really impressed how clean and tidy is the hotel and how warm and polite is their service. I will return for sure and bring my family to enjoy the same awesomeness that I did! <3

Food was amazing. We really liked the buffets and the Tapas restaurant. The bartenders were very cool. We had a lot of fun with them and the drinks were top notch. We will definitely be back to the Hyatt Zilara!
Review 128:The pool was freezing the first 3 days. They couldn't figure out why no one was in the pool and willing to do pool activities. After several complaints, they turned on the heater. Not sure why it was off in the first place. After that, everyone used the pool again and it was very comfortable the remaining 4 days.
Review 129:Beautiful beach and hotel. Food was good. Room services was very good. Waiters were very friendly. Julio, the activities director, was very personable and made things fun. All rooms face the ocean and there really isn't a bad room. I would return.

Review 132:Had to wait 20 minutes or so for our turn to check-in, but the staff kept us comfortable with cold cloths and delicious cucumber water while we waited.
Review 133:The resort is breathtaking! I traveled with my adult son for a little getaway, and we found Paradise at The Hyatt Zilara and Cancun. From the minute you arrive you are treated like royality. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. Shout-outs to Albert in guest services, Roberto at Spice, Omar at Pelicanos and Miriam with bar service. Our stay was too short! Can't wait to go back!
