Reviews for Aux Fées Des Grèves
Review 1:Not enough pillows.
Review 2:Large room with table and 2 chairs as well to sit at. Great view of Le Mont St Michel from public garden/viewpoint just round the corner.
Review 3:No tea of coffee making facilities at all. Please put something in the dining room to make it perfect.
Review 4:Wonderful family running this B&B business. An evening meal may be offered which is excellent.
Review 5:I was very hard to find the place, sign boards were rather faded from the road and was very difficult to see and that made getting there very difficult, but the owner came to pick us up from the roadside.
Review 6:It is very close to Mont St Michel, I like the bed and space in the room.
Review 7:Excellent B&B in all aspects. We really enjoyed our stay, well done! The view from our window of the Mont saint Michel was the best view we may ever had had. breakfast is Excellent, the owner can't do enough for you. Very knowledgable about the area and more than willing to share the best places to be / eat etc. Location is TOP for the area.
Review 8:It is a little tricky to find, as the building is set back from the road and nestled between two other buildings. Look for the sign on one of the buildings, facing the street.
Review 9:monsieur Jean met us and immediately made us feel at home, sitting in the lounge chatting with us as we enjoyed the bottle of cider he presented us (which he made himself). There being no dinner there that night, he recommended a nice restaurant in Cancale and then called and made reservations for us. Jean sets a beautiful breakfast table, and the food was both tasty and plentiful. Our room was very large by French hotel standards, and had a lovely view of Mont St. Michel. Simply furnished but perfectly clean and satisfying. The neighborhood is exceptionally quiet. We slept with the windows open (no AC) but there were no mosquitoes or other bugs or noise to disturb us.
Review 10:Squeaky floorboards and doors. Nowhere to hang a towel in the bathroom. Not easy to find. Not somewhere where we would rush back too.
Review 11:A very comfortable bed in a generously sized room. The owner is trying hard but not quite there yet.
Review 12:It's not that we didn't like anything, but as this hotel is an approximate 15 minute drive from mont saint michels abbey, you would most definitely need a car, otherwise it is too remote. We had a car so this place was perfect for us :)
Review 13:We loved the atmosphere, seclusion and room at the hotel. The host was so lovely and could not do enough for us despite the language barrier. The breakfast was also great. Wifi connection was strong as was the hot water and shower pressure. It is beautifully furnished and we are glad we found this little gem.
Review 14:Liked everything about the facility and Jean Boulet and his family. The service was fantastic and very accommodating. Couldn't ask for more. The dinner was outstanding and you could tell the owner takes great pride in his facility. Will definitely return and will encourage others to stay at Aux Fees Des Greves.
Review 15:Location breakfast and location
Review 16:Very helpful owner, very quiet environment, comfortable bed
Review 17:The bed was really uncomfortable.
Review 18:Room size, view and breakfast was great.
Review 19:Very comfortable room, generous proportions
Review 20:Jean was a great host and provided some very helpful suggestions to take full advantage of our time in Mont Saint Michel (including the walking tour onto the tidal plain adjacent to the abbey). The accommodation worked well for our family of 4 (2 adults in one room upstairs and the 2 kids in the other upstairs room). We decided to take up Jean's offer to prepare an evening meal at the residence and this worked out extremely well. A very gracious host and we would highly recommend to others.
Review 21:It could be better if there are a trash and tissue paper both in the toilet and bathroom, so that, it's more convenient. Also a shampoo should be added. The rest is fine
Review 22:They are very friendly and kind. Eventhough I had a problem with transportation to reach the establishment but they managed to get me there and also when returning to the bus station at Mont Saint Michel. The room is very spacious and decorated beautifully. The dinner was wonderful as well as the breakfast. Thank you very much for making our stay memorable !
