Reviews for Domaine du Pré Salé

Review 1:The only negative thing was the bit lonesome area the house was situated in. It was completely in the middle of nowhere which we did not expect in that way. But for people looking for a house in the very countryside with no neighbours and no village within the next few kilometers, this is the correct choice. :-) Also, the walls where quite thin and you hear the guests from the room next to yours talking and flushing the toilet...

Review 2:All in all, this accomodation was great. The host was very friendly and helpful. We arrived quite late in the evening and most of the restaurants were closed that day or due to the late time. She recommended us immediately one resto with local food which was really great indeed. Also, the breakfast was completely self-made which was really nice and we felt a bit like home. Also, the room was really nice decorated, very modern and proper.

Review 3:Late checking in time. Hot Room was invaded by flies when skylight was opened. Very remote location. No welcome at breakfast with limited choice. Rolls need covering to keep flies off. Overcharged.

Review 4:Nice, clean accommodation. The daughter welcomed us warmly.

Review 5:Nothing

Review 6:Excellent relaxing place with a beautiful confortable room and delicious crepes for breakfast, friendly stuff. We will certainly stay again when visiting France

Review 7:Very remote and a bit hard to find. Wasn't sure which building we were staying in at first and we could not find a check-in spot or our host.

Review 8:The rooms were new, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was bread, jam, coffee, juice. This place is close to the beach. The host recommended a beachfront restaurant that was stunning.

Review 9:Door lock needs tightening/adjusting. Could do with some curtains that blocks out light. Shower cubicle has a dangerous crevice where one can easily bang ones head.

Review 10:Welcoming and friendly owner Immaculate rooms, with hairdryer included! Great night views of mont St Michel, and clear dark sky at night for star gazing.

Review 11:The location is suitable only you have car. If you don't have, it's impossible to be there.

Review 12:The room is very nice !!

Review 13:perfect A+++++++++++

Review 14:The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location for visiting Mont St Michel

Review 15:Friendly staff, good possibilities for cooking and beautiful surroundings.

Review 16:Please install mosquito nets in the windows. You need to sleep with open windows here.

Review 17:Quaint place, very clean and comfortable, helpful staff

Review 18:A gps is almost indispensable to get to the house. Some toiletries were not provided.

Review 19:Very nice and helpful lady running the hotel

Review 20:The place was hard to find the first time. It would be nice if they had signs all the way from the main road that had "Domaine du Pré Salé" on them. Or if the directions had landmarks, because most of those country roads do not have street signs on them. Also, as the rooms are not air conditioned, a box fan in each room would be nice.

Review 21:This place was perfect, although hard to find. It was easy to book, at a very reasonable price, and the facilities were clean, comfortable, quiet, and very nice. The breakfast was delicious. Our room was so clean it seemed new. Nice shower. Thick towels and comfortable bed linens were provided. Hostess was friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Review 22:We had some minor problems connecting to the Internet but we were finally able to work through the problems. It also only allowed one device to connect per room.

Review 23:The price and location were the biggest benefits for the travel we had planned for the week. We thought it we be easier to stay a central location rather than relocating to a new hotel on a daily basis.

Review 24:A very nice restored farm in a quiet place. Easy to reach Mount St. Michel. The owners are friendly and helpful; they came to fetch us from a near town as we were having problems locating the farm. The farm is very well structured. The area is isolated and quiet, unless you visit the stalls  where animals are “asking for freedom in the morning. Very nice experience.

Review 25:The people who own the property are very warm and friendly - they let us use a washer and clothes line for our clothes. Very peaceful location. Newly renovated rooms that still had the new wood smell. I would definitely stay there again!

Review 26:The woman who greeted us (the owner I'm assuming) was very friendly, but did not speak English like other reviewers stated (and is stated on their Booking.com profile). Lots of hand motions to figure things out. The location is out in the middle of nowhere. Lots of one lane dirt roads. At least 7 miles from the closest town for restaurants, etc. Walls are extremely thin. Could hear everything from the room next door; conversations and baby crying at 2:00 a.m.

Review 27:Very clean. Beautiful surroundings. Lots of room for the kids to run. Short drive to Mont St Michel.

Review 28:I couldn't get WiFi to work but all the same I was happy and didn't care -It's good to turn off the computer for a day or two!

Review 29:Lovely, you can see Mt. Saint Michel is in the distance. There's alot of farm land surrounding the area and although it did not seem walking distance (perhaps there is a path) you can hear the waves on the beach. All in all, it makes it quiet and tranquil. Biking would be ideal -next time!

Review 30:Being in the country. Close to Mont St Michele

Review 31:The place is fantastic and very unique.
