Review 1：Although public areas were smart some of the rooms appeared to be in need of redecoration.

Review 2：The staff were all very helpful and demi-pension meals were good value. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere overlooking the lake. We used the pool a lot although there were also lovely beaches nearby. Quiet hotel away from busy Capbreton and Hossegor at a sensible price.

Review 4：Absolutely fantastic location, balcony with view of the stunning lake. We wanted to hire mopeds and the staff were very helpful. Clean room, lovely food. What more could you want?

Review 5：Quiet location, helpful staff. Half board very good value and food excellent. Lovely oyster bars two minutes walk away by the lake where you can enjoy a glass of wine, fresh seafood catch the last of the evening sun.

Review 8：No AC. No screens on patio sliding windows. Lousy wifi, the worst and isn't even secure when you connect. For me I got 1 bar but I had to sit in the shower.

Review 31：It was easy to find and to park. It was good value for money. The attached restaurant was excellent. The staff were very friendly. The hotel was well set out with a nice pool and pool area. It was a nice area to walk around in the evenings. For those who wanted water sports, there were many available.

Review 32：Couldn't score highly for value - we went high season, demi pension, ridiculous price, even with late booking! (that's Hossegor!) Food nice, but very little choice for demi pension. We ate what we were given, whilst other diners chose from much nicer menu - only found out last day that we could have paid a supplement to eat from more extensive menu. Room very small for three, and shower room too small. Would go again, but not high season, not demi pension.

Review 33：Great location - opposite beached swimming lake. Easy access to Hossegor, but not affected by the noise and buzz at night. Lovely pool - unheated, so maybe not so lovely in May! Room had a balcony over-looking lake. Staff polite, friendly and helpful

Review 34：Maybe a bit outdated rooms but the friendly staff and the restaurant makes you forget really fast. We noticed that they started refurbishing the rooms but the hardest part is that no ventilation was put in place, hard or impossible during renovation. Breakfast buffet should be more checked, sometimes we noticed that most of the people were waiting untill they brought more bread.

Review 35：Hotel is very well situated against the lake, ideal place to visit other locations in the region. The best thing about Lacotel is the restaurant's cuisine, which is really outstanding. Superb food for a descent price. Sometimes the service in the restaurant is not as expected but once you receive your plate, you easily forget that.

Review 38：In the morning we have not hot water to shower. We went to reception and they told us the problem was only in the second floor and there was nothing they could do. They didn´t offer us another room in the first floor or any other option.
