Review 1：Room was a little small, though adequate.

Review 17：The bathroom with a lot of calc. I have bought antikalk and cleaned it myself. Lots of water in the bath.Toilette button broken reception said they wait on the mecanic but after the whole week nobody came. Beach bar personnel arogant. We were just once there. We came once in the evening, nobody greet or tell anything even 3 staff have nothing to do, so we left and find some better bar. Taxi service which was ordered from the hotel, didn't come. Hotel personnel handled it, but we lost 20 min. Attention, for the taxi Nice - Aeroport (not even 6 km) they want 35 - 40 Euro! I like to pay for the good quality and extra good service. But unfortunatelly I couln't reward a lot. Cleaning personnel I leave as a tip an Antikalk ;-)

Review 18：Nice staff on the reception and in the hotel bar. Good style. Very nice sea view, nice small balcony. Clima worked well and was very pleasant in the hot days. Excellent relax in the bar.

Review 23：The room we booked was very small for 2 adults. We couldn't even move inside it and we were suffocating. It was the smallest in the hotel, less than 17 mp (as it was stated on booking.com). They couldn't change it or upgrade it, so we had to find another hotel on spot.

Review 30：This hotel and the surrounding area was a pleasant surprise. I came in the afternoon, enjoyed a swim at the beach, took a stroll in the area, and had a nice dinner at the restaurant across the street. It was extremely relaxing and enjoyable, and I loved my seaside view.

Review 31：The hotel is perfectly set within a short train ride to Nice, Cannes, Monaco, Antibes so you can visit and see sights and still get back to your hotel the same day. Lots of restaurants near and the room with the ocean view has a nice terrace to relax on. The restaurant is good for dinner too!

Review 33：Very good location, across the road from the sea. Cagnes-sur-Mer is a very relaxing town with a long and nice promenade along the beach, and a good selection of places to eat. Well-connected to Nice, Antibes, and Cannes (by bus and train, as well as bike paths).

Review 34：Liked everything about staying at the Aèva, friendly staff, comfortable & clean room, great ocean view with balcony and the meals were delicicious at the A&E Restaurant connected to the hotel. Enjoy some yummy Pizzas around the corner called Pizza Latina that was a famiy business. Train station was about 1km to walk to to have access to Nice, Cannes and Monaco. Would definately stay here again and I highly recommend staying here to be able to explore the French Riviera

Review 37：The food was sub standard and very little choice. There was no manager available to complain about the food. Some of the staff could not speak any English, therefore some difficulty in ordering food when all menus were in French.

Review 42：The room was clean and quiet and the design was nice due to its recent renovation. Parking was tight but free so we just had to take our time to get a spot. Breakfast was generous (not included in the room) with a view of the sea. That was a treat. Even though the hotel was on the main promenade de la Plage leading to promenade des Anglais. Our room was in the back with no balcony so relatively quiet. Staff was very friendly. Not a bad lace to stay. Might try their other hotel Behind this one for extended stay. Will go back if had a chance.

Review 44：Cagnes Sur Mur has a great little Marina which is surrounded by restaurants and bars - this is a very pleasant 15 minute beach side stroll from the hotel. There are also many bars/restaurants along the way. Great view, nice rooms, good value. Very easy access to Nice airport (5 mins).

Review 45：Some staff gave poor service. At one time we ordered a drink at the bar and were still waiting after 20 minutes when several people were brought their drinks ahead of us. On that same day were refused service for a drink as the lady serving was eating her salad and said she would not serve us until we finished. We did not use the bar again after that day for the rest of our 7 day stay but went to other places where the service was better. I also thought it poor that they charge hotel residents ten euros a day for a sunbed on the beach and state this is a special rate whereas in fact even non residents get charged the same price. Wouldn't it be reasonable to charge hotel residents half the price.?

Review 46：Location excellent. Stayed in a superior room with a lovely sea view. Very comfortable bed. Good clean bathroom and small but cosy balcony.

Review 47：You had to pay 5 euro to hire a towel and 10 euro for sun beds on beach. Staff never spoke to you and when we checked out they did don't acknowledge us or ask if we had a good stay.

Review 51：We loved all about the hotel, but the biggest surprise was the gourmet meal on Saturday. Guests usually leave hotels to find another place for dinner...luckily for us we stayed, and even got beautiful live music on top of that!

Review 112：We stayed here for our honeymoon and were not disappointed. I requested a room (Room 306) before our check in and they were very accommodating. The front desk staff spoke English very well and the process was quick and simple. The room was very modern with nice decor and great utilization of the small space. The bathroom was very spacious. I requested room 306 after researching the hotel a bit online. It is on the top floor in the middle. It has it's own half moon balcony with two chairs on it that overlooked the ocean. It was beautiful. The other rooms had balconies, but they are shared with other guests with an opaque barrier separating each. Every morning we would leave the hotel to go out and explore and by the time we came home each afternoon/evening, the room was clean and we had new towels. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant so I cannot comment on that but it definitely had a nice atmosphere about it. The beach across the street is not a sandy beach, it has smooth rocks on it. It is not as comfortable as sand but it also was not the worst thing ever. There was not very many people on it at any given point and it made for a great relaxing spot. The area around the hotel is amazing with many places to eat meals, snacks and ice cream. There are two train stations within a 15 minute walk which was one of the best parts of our whole trip. We could reach all parts of the riviera with ease. The wi-fi was excellent as well. High speed with no issues.

Review 117：Rooms are small -- hard to find space for the suitcases where you won't grip over them. Shutters, which are main method of room darkening and only source of privacy in bathroom, were broken. Lighting dim, and some did not work. Doors on shower enclosure did not meet, and no amount of care in directing spray kept water from escaping onto floor -- very slippery. I will not stay there again.

Review 120：Bathtub slippery, with no Handle or Grab Bar, which can be an issue for elderly persons or children. The shower doors are very small, making it impossible not to splash water all around the bathroom.

Review 122：We were looking for a hotel close to the Nice Airport, and what a gem.We were about two miles past the airport...but right on the water in asmaller town. We were able to park our car on site, as well as walk onthe promenade in front of the hotel. There were also many choices forrestaurants on site, across the street on water. Walking distance totrain station as well. So location was perfect. It was about a $30 cabride from Nice...so check bus and train schedules to make sure you canreturn when you need to.

A little bit far away from train station.(by walk,about 1.5 km) IM doubt there is trick between hotel and taxi driver. becoz the taxi driver that's hotel call for me was rregular charge,it cost me 25€ from hotel to airport. and the taxi told me he need to charge from station(who knows what station he mean)to the hotel.and hotel to the airport. that's weird! the driver said he english is too "little".so we can't talk too much......the driver is same as the one we call for the day we come to hotel.....weird too. Some staff are not so kind...

Review 126：Near the beach.you can face the sea just need to open the balcony door.that's mean you can see the sunrise and sunset in your bed. breakfast and bar are excellent. staff speak english well. that's important. The location is good,more quiet than Nice.

Review 127：We thought this place would be better than it is. Our room was thesmallest of all our rooms in Europe. For the price I don't thinkit's worth it. There were unfilled holes for lamp wires in the wall.We found spiders in the room and my wife was bit by one in the night :(Way to far from the train station, and the train station, Cagnes SurMer, rarely has taxi service

Review 129：We had a triple room at the Aeva hotel as this was the only room available when I was booking. The room, towels, etc were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms were cleaned and the bed made when we put out the little note to request this. The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Very well presented and all spoke very good English. The whole experience was just perfect for us. I only regret not staying for the full duration of our holiday but had we had longer to book we probably would have stayed for the full ten days if they had had availability.

Review 130：Rooms overlooking the opposite side from the sea are extremely small. We were lucky to get upgrade for the sea view room which was definitely much better standard. Thanks :-)
