Reviews for Au détour du Mont

Review 1:very nice couple running the family hotel, fantastic breakfast! spacious room for 3 people and very clean. We are two families and we are all very satisfied with such a good stay on the low price.

Review 2:Very small French village and you will need someone who speaks French as most of the locals don't or pretend they don't. Shared toilet.

Review 3:It is located nearby Mont St Michel and there are great views from the nearby park. If you have a car it is a good base to explore the area. Quaint rooms.

Review 4:Check-in wasn't until 5pm. We didn't catch that on our booking confirmation and we showed up at 2:30pm in the rain only to be turned away.

Review 5:The owner's were lovely and were sincerely interested in our comfort.

Review 6:The owners are a very nice couple, friendly and helpful. Old house, with parquet and fireplace to really live an authentic experience. Breakfast is plentiful, we loved the touch of the relaxing music played through

Review 7:Reception only open for a couple of hours in the evening, not during the day, so arrive at appropriate time.

Review 8:Lovely traditional building with great character. Very friendly staff though you may need to use some basic French to get what you want. Breakfast included with excellent coffee of course.

Review 9:what to say? I stayed at this hotel 3 nights and was a familiar experience. the owners of the hotel, Mylene and Jack, were very friendly, helpful and kind. I stayed in an indipendent apartment perfectly described in the ad. the apartment was clean in deep, also the bathroom. breakfast was special and at a reasonable price. everything was home made: the cakes, the crepes, the jams. wifi available in common spaces. private parking, private garden and a wonderful sightseen from the village complete the experience. the hotel is 15 minutes far from the parking of Le Mont Saint Michel.

Review 10:Bed was a little soft for our taste

Review 11:The owners were super nice + helpful. The breakfast with homemade jamwas delicious. Our family room was roomy. Very convenient to Mt. St. Michel.

Review 12:Trying to wash my face and brush my teeth after 10 PM at night, and very aware of the sound of the water.

Review 13:Bedroom was well proportioned, and there was quite a bit of room.

Review 14:First of all the check in time at 6 pm!!! Its totally absurd!! And checkout 11 am... I mean for the price you pay you dont get even a day ofstaying....Second of all the lady in charge is really controlling: she wanted to almost impose the check in time saying "PLEASEE after 6:30 pm..." I mean like if 6 pm wasn"t late enough... In conclusion, it not worth it at aLL!! way too much expensive. Only as a last resource (which was my case)

Review 15:Two things were ok: the bread in the breakfast and that it is near montst michel (not that near though)Also everything is very clean

Review 16:No plates with the breakfast rolls. Also no meat, cheese or fruit. However for 75 euro for 3 people it was good to have even a simple breakfast.

Review 17:The owner was very friendly. It will help if someone if your group speaks at least a little French. Our room was cute and very affordable.

Review 18:Impossible to connect to wifi in the room

Review 19:Really beautiful rooms. 10 minutes by car from Le Mont Saint Michel

Review 20:Really lovely people, comfortable and nice-sized rooms. Great breakfast with homemade baked goods and preserves.

Review 21:Area is a little remote but the rooms and welcome we had were perfect

Review 22:Staff , breakfast and room were great Will come back as soon as we can

Review 23:No WC in the room.

Review 24:Nice and helpful hosts. Beautiful and quiet place. Few minutes drive to Mont Saint Michel.

Review 25:It was nice location to go to world heritage and go to supermarket. we could see beautiful star sky. parking is free. Staff was very friendly and kind.

Review 26:My stay couldn't have been better! The hosts were the epitome of kindness and hospitality. The hotel was idyllic. The beds were very comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here to anyone!
