Reviews for Chambres d'Hôtes Fleur de Sel
Review 1:Bathroom is rather small . Functional but if it is bigger size would be easier. No toiletries provided although clean towels were available in the room.
Review 2:Serene, beautiful place. The owners were very friendly and hospitable . Feel very welcomed. Breakfast was a fantastic impressive spread of good old fashion goodies. Local specialties and many varieties. Really love the atmosphere at breakfast as well - one big table with all the food for all guests. Can mix and mingle with the other guests as well.
Review 3:Free parking, very good breakfast and good location. The owner is very nice and helpful, thank you for the route to Mont St Michel and telling us about Beuvron en Auge.
Review 4:Nothing
Review 5:Our hostess gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home immediately. She advised us of a local seafood restaurant, which was amazing, and provided us with a gourmet breakfast which included crepes, French toast, boiled eggs, fruit and a cake specific to the region. We hope to visit again one day.
Review 6:French Style B&B Farm house - very open owners with suggestions - attic room with ample space, comfortable bed and view of the garden and horses / cleverly decked bathroom - great use of space - incredible breakfast feast of hand made jams/breads/crepes(this is BRETTON) -
Review 7:It is quite far from Mt Saint Michel, 10 km away.
Review 8:The lady was very nice, the room was clean and friendly. The breakfast was very good, with pancakes and homemade jam.
Review 9:The family room was beautiful and very spacious. The garden was perfect for the kids, and the breakfast was delicious with a vast array of homemade jams and breads.
Review 10:If you stay at the top floor, the steps may be a problem. The wifi was not available in the room.
Review 11:The breakfast was outstanding, beyond our expectations. The room was lovely decorated, very charming, made us feel at home. The owners were really nice and friendly. Our daughter loved the garden. Location is also good if you are travelling by car.
Review 12:Truly I didn't had a chance to stay in this guesthouse as when we arrive we find out that the place was overbooked and there is no space for us. The owner offer us the room in the next door b&b for the same price reassuring us that the standard was the same. Very little room with no access to the kitchen , we were forced to eat our dinner out in the restaurant(extra cost 100 euro) even if we had our food to cook. Not impressed at all. It was enough to contact us in advance that there was a problem with our booking so we could decide for ourselves what to do, it was far to late after we already arrive !
Review 13:Danger of getting too much sugar during breakfast.
Review 14:Situated not too far from crowded Mont St Michel, it is in a restful area with nice hosts. Gives a feeling that you are at your country home.
Review 15:Nothing really except the bathroom was quite small - but somehow added to the charm
Review 16:Quaint house with the loveliest French lady of the house who was always smiling and patient with our attempts at sketchy French! The homemade breakfast was a highlight of our trip :) Lovely comfy room with the facilities we needed such as wi-fi and on site parking. Lady was very helpful with our requests for information about local eateries. Hope to return sometime soon :)
Review 17:The hostess doesn't speak English, so there was a lot of sign language and miming. Not a bad thing, just FYI. Also, no TV.
Review 18:My daughter loved this BnB. It was like a mini apartment with loft, sitting area and balcony. The hostess was very sweet and accommodating. She brought fresh baked pie to our room just after we arrived. The breakfast was included and was very good French style with home-made crepes and jams. The free wifi was the best we had in our entire 12 day vacation. The grounds in the front are very nice and there is a nice playground for younger kids.
Review 19:It was a little hard to find, but well worth it. It is very quiet and peaceful. Only a short drive from Mont. St. Michel.
Review 20:This is exactly what you would imagine a French B&B to be like. Beautiful room….bathroom a little small, but that is expected in France. We had a wonderful breakfast of homemade crepes, with homemade jams and caramel. It was a breakfast fit for a King. It was lovely.
Review 21:The breakfast was unbelievable, a veritable feast of products grown on the farm. Room was quaint with a lovely rural view. Fifteen minutes from Mont Saint Michele. Thank you to our lovely hosts
Review 22:The owners were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent and our family room was clean, warm, and large with a separate loft area for our 11 and 14 year-old daughters who loved the quality of the Wifi too!

Review 34:The location isn't ideal if you are in Normandy mainly to visit the WWII sites as they are about 1.5 hours away. It is however, only about 10 minutes from Le Mont Saint Michel.

I was able to watch our hostess make the morning crepes, we sat at a table with other guests--home-style dining which added to the overall comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. And we were just a short distance from a very nice jogging/biking path. Lovely!
Review 65:I liked everything, but would recommend a bit more signals in the road to get there.
Review 66:It was a very charming place to stay, beautiful surroundings and quaint decoration style, everything was clean and in place, every detail taken care of. We also liked the fact that the hostess was so nice and the breakfast was all home made, we were wonderfully surprised, the very best butter!
Review 67:The only negative thing is that I found some hair in the bathtub (and twasn't mine) and there was a little rust around the tap in thebathroom, althought the bathroom didn't seem old at all...
Review 68:A great choise!! Beautiful country house, very reasonable price (lowerthan what you get), very very kind owners and an exellent homemadebreakfast! In fact, this was the best part of our stay! Home madeconfitures, chocolate cake (mmmm....), orange juice, coffe, severalkinds of bread, pastries of Bretagne and... Crepes!!! The lady'sfamily is so lucky!! Concerning the room, it was a two floor place withthe bathroom and two beds downstairs and a beautiful bedroom upstairs. The bathroom was spacious and with both a shower and a huge bathtub(with jacuzi!! But we didn't use it). Finally, it is very close tothe Mont Saint Michel (15-20 min. By car).

Review 72:Charming rooms and hostess. Breakfast consisted of no less than 6 homemade jams, crepes, good bread & coffee. Kids were in sugar heaven...just as well there's a playground! Excellent wi-fi
Review 73:Friendly atmosphere. Interesting and unique seaside decor. It felt like a home and we were made to feel at home! We enjoyed breakfast around the giant table, which enabled visiting with all the other guests. It was convenient that the barbecue was available for our use in the evening. We would return!
Review 74:Would have liked a kettle in the room, however we could use the kettle in the kitchen downstairs from our room.
Review 75:We were looked after very well. We found it easy to relax and enjoy the facilities. Catered very well for families. Children were allowed 'to be children'. It looked just how I imagined it from seeing pics on the internet.
Review 76:Nothing, everything was fine
Review 77:The location: just 20 minutes away from Mont St Michel, but not in the middle of crowded streets. The room was beautiful, comfortable and had a great view. The owner was really nice and made a delicious, home made breakfast. Try the marmalades and the caramel sauce she makes them herself) with the fresh bread and the pancakes (crepes). A perfect location if you want to visit Mont St Michel but want to rest in a nice, peaceful house afterwards
