Reviews for Campagne-Baudeloup

Review 1:The restaurant is very beautiful, Breakfast is very rich, the boss is very good, this is the perfect travel, want to have more time to live here in the future

Review 2:It was fabulously magical and both Jean-Xavier & Ali where the best hosts! Always willing to help! The place looked exactly as per the pictures on the web with the added bonus of being laid back & chilled! They made us the most amazing Moroccan meal on the last evening of our stay and it was magical! We will definitely go back & tell all our friends!

Review 3:The poor WiFi. It worked but slow. Coffee was not Wramplingham enough. Poor lightning in the room

Review 4:The friendliness and helpfulness of the owner. The great bed. The spacious green garden. The calmness. The accessibility

Review 5:We loved our week based here in the outskirts of L'isle sur la sorgue. It's in a perfect location to explore the surrounding Vaucluse area. The cottage is tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay We looked forward to a delicious breakfast served each morning out in the courtyard. Wi-fi was only available in one area of the garden but this didn't really bother us, as we got to catch up with fellow travelers. We also enjoyed many afternoons relaxing by the pool. The bathroom/toilet set-up is unusual being at opposite ends of the cottage, but again this wasn't an issue for us, but could be for some people.

Review 6:If I had to say something it would be the lack of air con, but we were there in very hot weather and we did have a fan.

Review 7:Very friendly host, beautiful place , large room, comfy bed, swimming pool , plus much more

Review 8:Wi Fi is a problem which however seems to be the case in the area and not just the property.

Review 9:Place was lovely and peaceful and the two bedroomed cottage perfect since we travelled with two children (4 & 2). Pool great respite from the heat and breakfast was always fresh and just right.

Review 10:The pool area could be tidied up a bit

Review 12:Bugs in the room, but that's to be expected when you're out in the country.

Review 13:Unique place to stay, rooms decorated with beautiful antiques. Short drive into town. Staff were very friendly and accomodating.

Review 14:Serenity of the lovely old home and beautiful grounds; owners were very helpful when we had a slight problem with train reservations, lilacs and wisteria

Review 15:Shame about noise from nearby kennels.

Review 16:Rural setting, beautiful surroundings but close to town. Nice, clean accommodation with very nice rooms and comfortable beds.

Review 17:The toilet was on a separate floor from the sink and tub. Very inconvenient.

Review 18:We loved the old world charm of the accomodation. Also, Geroux was a great host willing to accomodate any request.

Review 19:Odd bathroom arrangement with huge stone tub and sink area on raised platform behind beds.

Review 20:Almost Everything! Magical family run country estate with five guest quarters, park like setting to wander around in. Breakfast served outside in courtyard on long wooden tables: the freshest butter, croissants, breads, cheese, homemade preserves, etc. Two country miles to town.

Review 21:poor wi-fi because of local provider in the city... but it was possible to be on -line 2-3 times per day

Review 47:The Provencal authenticity. The feeling of total relaxation staying there. The owners, who did everything they could to give me a great stay. The breakfast. The pool.

Review 48:Nothing

Review 49:The 2 bedroom unit was perfect - the outside patio area, inside living area and kitchen were so comfortable. Having a swimming pool was superb.

Review 50:The room was very dark, with no view as it overlooked a piece of waste ground. The entrance area to the bedroom was very unkempt and unattractive and didn't give a good impression

Review 51:The setting in a lovely old French House with wonderful courtyard for eating breakfast

Review 52:We wanted to experience a true Provençal homestead in the countryside and that is exactly what we got, Gerrard's elegant family home is an old gem, set in gorgeous gardens where the scent of jasmine abounds. The sumptuous breakfast is served al frescoe in the pretty courtyard. The location is ideal for car hire travelers, closest village is L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and ideally located to explore many of the gorgeous villages of Provence. We were made to feel so welcome by Gerrard, I hope to return in the near future!

Review 53:The toilets and bath areas are on two separate floors.

Review 54:A very large and nice cottage just a little off a small town. This provides a good platform to explore the surroundings Avignon, Abbey Senaque and other interesting places in Provence. The dog is very friendly and playful!

Review 55:the yellow room had a toilet on the first floor and the shower/tub on the second floor, the armoire had no hangers for clothes, the lights were very dim

Review 56:the silence, the breakfast, the comfort of the bed

Review 57:No sign post indicating the reception desk, we had to open various doors of private rooms before being noticed by someone who was "replacing the host". This person seemed vaguely informed of our coming to such a point that we wondered whether it was the right address. He had nothing to say except the time for breakfast and the cell phone nr of the host. Not a single welcoming word. Only one soap for the whole bathroom. Some rubbish inside a decorative box on the bedroom. Old and stained furniture, no heating in spite of cold temperature. When we called the cell phone nr in order to get the WiFi code, no answer. We left a message but were never called back. When we came down to ask the WiFi code to the host he replied only "did my friend not give it to you?" We were never asked if we were satisfied, and when, while checking out, I mentioned the disappointing reception and the fact that the room was not up to the price of EUR120, he was without any reaction.

Review 58:Good breakfast.

Review 59:Thiugh beautifully furnished there was not a hook anywhere to hang clothes..armoire in ine bedroom only had shelves....kitchen was not well eqipped for cooking meals..stovetop and microwave convection oven..no instructions for any of the appliances and host had no knowledge either of how they worked...very poor lighting in kitchen dining area...had to supplement with candles...romantic...but not convenient for family dining

Review 60:Charming location in the countryside near I'le Sur Les Sorgues...host amiable but spoke little English...gite was furnished with lovely period piece antiques

Review 61:The bed was not really confy, a bit too small for 2 adults.
