Reviews for Citotel Hôtel Tiercé Beach Hotel
Review 1:Bit noisy, because of the street traffic even at night.
Review 2:WIFI worked well! Easy access by car to Nice, Cannes and mountains. Comfortable parking. Very friendly staff.
Review 3:The owner/Manager was very helpful and full of local information. Great view from our balcony. The shutters when closed at night were fantastic, no noise or light in the room
Review 4:Location is sorta run down for the price. It's across from the beach, but not the best part of town. They have no AC in the lobby so it was sweltering. For this price might as well stayed in Nice.
Review 5:Room was large and spacious. Staff was adequately friendly.
Review 6:When we were paying, the lady forgot to put paper in the machine and we have paid the money twice. They gave it back in 5 days but I've lost money because of the exchange differences.
Review 7:The bed was the most comfortable bed that I've seen in my life! The view and the balcony were perfect...
Review 8:Windowless bathroom smelt a bit of humidity on entering the room the first time. The breakfast room is fairly cramped.
Review 9:Right across the road from a free beach (with lifewardens). Comfy rooms. Staff friendly and helpful. Fairly good restaurants close to the hotel: a burger joint and a italian place.
Review 10:Great friendly hotel in good location, tea and coffee in room and a fridge for cold drinks. Sound proof rooms and good air con 217 bus goes from right outside the hotel to the airport for 1.50 euros each rather than 35 euro taxi. Good selection of restaurants nearby. Short walk to station for trains to Cannes or Monaco.
Review 11:It was a little bit in the outskirts of the town. 15 minute walk to the train station.
Review 12:Very friendly and helpful staff, English speaking. Good atmosphere, nice and comfortable rooms. Close to the beach.
Review 13:Al lado de la playa Personal muy simpático. Habitación con balcón, doble puerta así que tranquila. Autobus al aeropuerto de Niza a la entrada del hotel.
Review 14:the doors of the rooms close by beeing slamed. that makes a lot of noise - at night as well.
Review 15:the location is perfect, the staff is welcoming and the rooms are airconditioned.
Review 16:Excellent location, right next to the beach and to great restaurants. Friendly couple-owners of the hotel make you feel comfortable and welcome to Nice area.
Review 17:Fantastic location.Nice pebble beach across the road & close to train station where you can catch a train to Cannes, Monaco, Italy or anywhere else that takes your fancy. Hotel is incredible too! Excellent value & service. Would go back in the morning.
Review 18:Friendly staff. Direct view to the nearby sea. Clean and confortable. Well located on the "promenade de la plage" with lot of restaurants around. Will not hesitate to come back when coming to Cagnes sur Mer.
Review 19:Nothing wrong don't go to La cabane d'ecailleirsTERRIBLE BOUILLABAISE
Review 20:Arnaud and wife, pierre great view of beach across the street la mamahas great mussels and italian food
Review 21:- not a very good selection of TV channels - Wifi a bit weak in the rooms
Review 22:- great staff at the reception - great location - privillege room with good facilities
Review 23:The wifi was terrible in our room, unusable at some points during our stay and being a business owner, emails really do need to be answered, even during holidays... Our room was located right above the kitchen of the restaurant next door making it quite noisy at night till about 23.30h.
Review 24:The staff are delightful, both during The day and at night. The resident dog is absolutely adorable. The coffee and tea making facilities are great in the room as is the fact you have a private balcony. Great location, just a short drive from Nice and across the street from the beach.
Review 25:The breakfast was quiet expensive (10 euros each day and each person). Some of the staff could not speak english, only frensch. Our balcony had a terrible wiew of the backyard and that room was not on the photos on Booking. Tried to change room to get a seawiew coz we payed 125 euro per day for the room, but it was fully booked. It should have been different price, cheaper for our room to the backyard. We lived just uppstairs a pizzeria and in the evenings it smelled pizza in the room.
Review 26:The location close to the beach was good and so was the cleaning, the service and that great dog of the hotelowner. The staff who could speak english was really helpful and serviceminded.
Review 27:The location is great, 2 minutes by the sea. The beach was half-empty and very clean. Very friendly and helpful people were on the reception. They were very good English speaking. Every little demand they tried to solve immediately. They explained the road to where we wanted to go. The older receptionist came to our room to fix the satellite 2 minutes after we had told him it doesn´t work. The restaurants are under the rooms. The sea world is only 6 km from the hotel. Everything was super. We will certainly come back the next year.
Review 28:Very helpful and friendly staff. Good to see a notice in the room saying you're welcome to take their towels onto the beach. Also liked that they had recycling bins in the rooms.
Review 29:expensive hotel and small rooms, but all in Cote D'Azur are expensive hotel parking, just across the street there is a public parking much cheaper first they charged us higher than rate from booking, but in the end they accepted the booking rate I had on the reservation the cleaning lady enters every day in your room, even if you do not want so. If you stay in the room, they call you to ask to take the garbage, change the towels, it is really annoying
Review 30:the rooms have balcony the rooms are pretty clean nice reception staff, they give you information regarding what you want to visit good location, just near the beach the bus station to Nice is just in front of the hotelnice room balcony good location, just near the beach the bus station to Nice is just in front of the hotel

Review 39:Friendly staff, location
Review 40:it looked much better in the pictures
Review 41:Close to Beach & Restuarants, public transport easy to get to from Hotel. Great Staff, very helpful.
Review 42:Extremely close to the seaside, nice bars and restaurants in the area. Hotel is clean, staff is nice and competent, excellent value for money.
Review 43:Great location and wonderful staff. The room was large-ish and very comfortable. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.
Review 44:perhaps a bit expensive
Review 45:friendly and 24/7 service
Review 46:Perfect location and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
Review 47:Nothing
Review 48:Staff and location
Review 49:View over carpark Fridge in room not cold enough No mirror in bedroom
Review 50:Beach close by. Staff were helpful.
Review 51:Evrything
Review 52:Probably on reflection should have stayed in busier section for more choice in eating places
Review 53:Waterfront location
Review 54:clean
Review 55:The staff,the secenary.
Review 56:There did not appear to be toilet facilities in the breakfast area.
Review 57:Loved the staff especially the owner. Bright, clean room. (No. 6)
Review 58:Nothing not to like
Review 59:Nice and friendly, checkout takes 1 minute, so convenient for my visits, the staff are friendly. I have no complaints
Review 60:Great location close to the beach, restaurants nearby, good value close to Nice
Review 61:Clean room Comfy bed Great breakfast
Review 62:Wifi on only one device
Review 63:So near to the beach, restaurants and much things to do. Very friendly staff. Nice place to be and to come back
Review 64:We loved the location of the hotel. The staff was fantastic and friendly. Parking is located right behind the hotel.
Review 65:Room a little cramped and room overlooked car park and other apartments.
Review 66:Very helpful husband and wife. Close to beach and restaurants,
Review 67:Wifi was very poor
Review 68:Great location, very friendly staff, good value
Review 69:Intermittent Wi-Fi. No lift.
Review 70:Right on the beach. Friendly, helpful staff. Pleasant air conditioned room with a balcony.
Review 71:AMAZINGLY helpful and friendly staff!
Review 72:We were fortunate to have the privilege quad room which was on the firstfloor and had side views of the ocean. One of the beds was in a separateroom which my 15 year old loved as she had her privacy. It is slightlynoisy from road traffic though most was blocked out from the shuttersand the double glassed doors. The location is fantastic as you only needto walk across the street to the beach. Lots of restaurants around andthe parking is behind the hotel for 10 euros per day which is cheaperthan Nice where we paid 20 euros. The hotel had tea and coffee makingfacilities which we drank overlooking the Mediterranean on our lovelybig balcony. Would definitely recommend.
Review 73:The golden retriver, Hamses, hotel Tiercé Beach hotel mascot, we really love him. The whole staff is very nice and we like the service and enjoy our stay every time we stay here (specially room # 6). Thanks Elsie-Marie & Lasse
Review 74:None
Review 75:Great location.lovely spacious room.very clean and quiet.plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.next to beach and promenade and ten minutes walk to train station
Review 76:Given a room in the back- so close to the sea but I was looking at a parking lot!
Review 77:Close to market on Friday morning, lots of parking, easy to get on boardwalk (beach road) easy to get to Nice. Rooms tiny but functional & with a balcony (even if there was no view). Lots of small restaurants nearby.
Review 78:Small room at a high price: that's France though, you should totally expect this.
Review 79:Great location just opposite a free and comfortable beach. Friendly staff. Smoking allowed at the balcony.
Review 80:It's two minutes from the beach (which is shingly, but that saves the whole sand problem), and there are some really excellent restaurants nearby.
Review 81:The that the beach was right across the street! The other nice thing was that there was parking for you if you drove. Even though the hotel is on the corner of 2 busy streets, the roll down window shades kept the noise out, which is a plus when on a relaxing vacation.
Review 82:The bathroom was weird. There is a small room with a toilet, and another room with sink and bath/shower. Unless you are okay using soap from a dispenser, bring a bar of soap.
Review 83:We really enjoyed our stay here, it was across the street from the public beach and close to areas where you could rent chairs and umbrellas. We had a good sized balcony facing the street. Even though we were right above a busy intersection, it was nice and quiet at night. There was a good Wifi connection and a nice assortment of restaurants and bakeries close by. There was also a laundry room near the hotel that was very convenient. It was easy to get to Nice by train, although I understand it is easier to get there by the bus which is right outside the door.
Review 84:We've been there some also some years ago (2010) and back than our overall impression was much better: now everything looks like it would need a refresh. Moreover I had booked the exact type of room like at my previous staying and they've tried to give us a more smaller room telling us that this was the room that we've booked (not true). In the end we reached a kind of compromise but we had to pay 10 eur extra to stay in the room that we wanted
Review 85:The hotel has a very good location to visit the entire Cote d'Azur offering good conditions for the money paid, considering for the prices for this region. The breakfast on the balcony is really pleasant ( even if it is a bit expensive at 12 eur / person)
Review 86:A bit noisy from the autos at night in the streets but since the hotel faces the main road, it can't be helped. The parking was kind of small.
Review 87:We liked the location and the room. It was lucky that we got a room with the view of the beach. And the beach is just some steps from the hotel. The room is very clean too. I like the way each room has table & chair on the balcony. You could enjoy breakfast anf viewing the sea in the morning. The staff were helpful.
Review 88:My wife did not like the photo of the horse at the end of the corridor. I thought it was funny!
Review 89:Everything, especially the location, view and the staff.
Review 90:One of the older members of staff who seemed to be on in the evening/night was very unhelpful and very unfriendly. The other staff were fine.
Review 91:The room was very clean and just the right size. It had tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast in the morning was good.
Review 92:The Tierce has a great location in Cagnes Sur Mer for visiting Nice and the surrounding areas of southern France. Arnoud and Barbara are wonderful hosts and helped us with everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay in France.
Review 93:the rooms are in need of refurb, everything was 'tired' window shutter did not work, shower was poor. generally was very expensive and very poor value. i would not stop there again, nor recommend it to anyone. Mini bar did not exist - generally all comments on the booking sight were overstated. very poor
Review 94:Not a great deal! Location was good for the seaside and also the race course.
Review 95:Could have done with tea/coffee making facility in the roomonly two small, flat pillows on the bed (this is France though !)
Review 96:Location, price, cleanliness, someone available 24x7
Review 97:The Parking charge of €10/day where alternative public parking was available at €2/day. We left the Hotel for this reason and moved to the Apart Hotel 500m down the road where no parking charges applied.
Review 98:Location was good. The room was adequate.
Review 99:The traffic noise. The shower screen over the bath was missing and therefore the bathroom got a good soaking every time you showered. The room was well used and a little "tired".
Review 100:It's position across the road from the sea front and next to the hippodrome. The bed was very comfy. The staff were very helpful. The private parking was good, an additional cost of course.
Review 101:Nothing negative about the hotel or staff.
Review 102:I loved the fact that everyone was friendly. The hotel was modern and clean and spacious. Staff was extremely helpful. We had a wonderful terrace that overlooked a race track, park and the ocean. We were close to many different outdoor cafes and bakeries and I would highly recommend this hotel. Parking is off the street which the hotel provides for you if you have a rental car for an additional 10 euros per day. Worth the money as you would have to constantly be putting money in the meters.
Review 103:The location was convenient as I was visiting a friend who lived nearby. It would also be very convenient for those attending the racetrack, orthe beach. But it is at the junction of two busy roads, which needs tobe taken into consideration.
Review 104:I had to cut my visit short unexpectedly, and the staff were veryconsiderate and didn't charge me for the nights I had to cancel. The room, and particularly the bathroom, were very clean, and there was a safe, and free wifi, both of which are important and far from universal in my experience.
Review 105:Rooms need some face-lifting. A bit worn out. But anyway good value for money in Riviera.
Review 106:Small clean hotel on the beach. Pleasant stuff. 20 min drive to the Nice centre. Cafe Le Duck was our choice for breakfast, right on the corner on the Kennedy street. 7 e for continental and 9 e for english breakfast. Taxi from the airport will cost you 45e, so take a bus for just 1 e. Bus 217 stops right near the hotel and bus 200 maybe some 15 min to walk.
Review 107:The hotel located on the first floor of the apartments building, the room was very small for two people about 9 sq. m. or less, but it has air-conditioning and balcony. Surroundings ... It is city of two stars hotels, if you will think it is near Nice and it should be like Nice you are wrong, a lot of people on the beach. I will never back to this city/
Review 108:Staff
Review 109:I liked the modern rooms, the airconditioning, the bathroom where you didn't wet the floor and the friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel to others who are looking to stay close to niece but not in the heart of niece where there are too many tourists.
Review 110:Be aware that the hotel is right on a busy road between it and the beach, so noise can be a factor. Also, apart from the reception/breakfast area, there are no "hotel" facilities such as a residents lounge. For the Premium room rate (140 euros per night) we would have expected the breakfast and parking to be included - in fact there is an extra charge of 10 euros for the parking and for breakfast (each), so for 2 people the cost is actually 170 euros a night - quite a lot for early season we thought.
Review 111:Good location directly opposite the beach. Not in the main part of town, so a bit quieter, but only 15 minutes walk along the wide promenade to the main part of town. Our (Premium) room was well appointed and had a good size balcony. The double, double glazed sliding doors kept 95% of the external noise at bay. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Review 112:The seafront road is a very busy route running along the coast and istherefore noisy. The hotel is double glazed so they did their best tocut out the noise.
Review 113:The hotel is situated between Cannes and Nice so it is in a goodlocation for visiting those places and the other towns of the Coted'Azur. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendlyand helpful.
Review 114:thin walls in hotel reception phone noisy in evening if not answered quick
Review 115:arnaud on reception was excellent. spoke good English and extremely helpful. hotel basic but very clean. didn,t try breakfast (extra 10 euros) but was told it was value for money. first night couldn,t work air-con and it was red hot but Arnaud explained and was fine from then on. good location near sea and racecourse and would be worth paying for sea view. nice restaurants nearby but expect to wait on busy saturday nights! trai station a ten minute walk and then regular trains (when not on strike!) to the whole riviera and Italy. if you want to see how other half live visit Antibes harbour WHAT CREDIT CRUNCH! also use cafe le Duck just up from hotel best cafe-au-lait in area and great value for money
Review 116:Coffee/tea making facilities would be appreciated. Some noisedampening between floors needed. (People above were up and about @04:00 each morning)
Review 117:Management were excellent; friendly and helpful. Within closeproximity of a range of eating outlets. Waterfront, although, limitedview of Mediterranean. Within easy reach (by car, bus or train) ofNice and Cannes
Review 118:Breakfast is not included and costs 10 Euros each one.
Review 119:Everything is ok. The seaside is just across the road. WiFi is perfect.A railway station and a bus stop are in 15 minutes walk.
Review 120:This hotel is a stilish design hotel close to the pebble beach. Thetriple room we had was very spatious and clean, with a dining table, afridge and even a nice terrace. The bed was really comfortable. The roomwas very clean and extremely well insulated (quadruple glasing on thewindows). Staff was very welcoming, friendly, helpful and knowledgeableabout interesting tourist spots, shopping, signhtseeing. This hotelprovides a worth of a 4 stars hotel. I would definitely go back.
Review 121:Info provided by front desk not 100% accurate. BEst to find outyourself.
Review 122:CLean, modern with bright rooms and nice balcony. CEntrally located, convenient for beach, trains and busses.
