Review 11:We were traveling in a group of 6 taking up 3 separate rooms (2 on the 2nd floor and 1 on the 1st floor). When we did the reservation, the hotel page said that all rooms were equipped with air-con. However, when we arrived, we found that the room on the 1st floor was not equipped with air-con. We talked to the front desk staff and the lady also told us that she didn't know why there was no air-con installed but on her paper said there was. The owner then came and explained to us that the 1st floor room is situated next to the river and got natural breeze cooling the room and that was why it didn't have an air-con installed. We think probably it is fine in the winter time when there aren't that many bugs and mosquitoes flying around but we stayed there in mid-July and there were lots of bugs and mosquitoes. We couldn't open any windows at night cause too many bugs were trying to fly in even when we had burn mosquitoes repellents inside the room as well as outside the terrace next to the windows. We asked for a room change but the hotel was fully booked and no other room was available during our stay. We would not have chosen that room if we knew it wasn't equipped with an air-con in the first place but it was too late to make any change of plan.... The natural swimming pool is also very dirty not with any man-made garbage but with lots of bugs and weeds from the nature that you can't see the bottom with visibility of like a foot or 30 centimeters. It's a lovely pool to look at or take photos but I don't think I could bathe or swim in the water. But they do have lounge chairs around the deck which you could lie there to read a book and rest if you don't mind having bugs flying around you the whole time.

Review 12:The owner and other staff were friendly and helpful. The property also has lots of free parking. Our 1st floor room also has a lovely private terrace which we had used for our private group gathering at night and in the morning before going out.

Review 13:Beware of the pet goose if she hasn't been fed. We were 'attacked' as we tried to get in our car early one morning.

Review 14:This is a good value for money place to stay. Our room was large, clean and comfortable but not as prettily decorated as ones in the adverts. The thai restaurant has a lovely terrace and the food is good. The young waitress was particularly friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The garden is attractive and full of wildlife.

Review 15:At first sight it looks like a nice location, but if you stay there a bit longer you might exeperience some strange things. There is a goose that the owner let's out until midday and it runs after people and trys to pinch them. We saw some guests running to their cars. The first tilme it looks funny, but the gardener explained that this goose has already bitten him and other guests. It also takes over the swimming pond. At the end of the stay of 6 days and having spent almost 2000 € there, the owner demanded a charge of 60 € because of some blood on the sheets. That I found really out of proportion and the way they have dealt with me saying that was completly unprofessional, insulting and spoilt the stay. So ZERO points for this location.

Review 16:We loved paradou, it is the perfect place to relax and get away fromstress. Wonderful location, beautiful hotel, food was great and staffwere helpful and friendly. Basic hotel but beautiful. Such luxuries asshowed gel and shampoo not provided but would recommend to anyonewanting to relax in the beauty of provence.

Review 17:This was more of a restaurant business serving excellent food rather than a typical hotel. There are 8 rooms and the one we stayed in had a walk in shower and air con, it was not huge but comfortable and the bed was a good size. There are few normal hotel facilities such as lobby areas and there is no swimming pool but a spring fed pool which people were using to swim in. We didnt but its down to personal choice. There is also a large garden area for relaxing. The owner and his wife (English was spoken) were very friendly and we ate in the restaurant every night where the food was excellent but you do need to like Thai food as that's what it serves, the price is comparative to other restaurants in the village. The hotel is 600mtrs from Lourmarin and an easy walk, there are plenty of other places to eat here if required. We liked it and will go back again.

Review 18:We arrived feeling quite tired after the journey, and were delightedwith the wonderfully peacful setting and atmoshere of both hotel andrestaurant. We went down for the most delicious thai dinner that evening,so good infact that we had lunch there the following week. The staffwere very friendly and helpful. We will be sure to return!
