Review 1：I made reservation through booking.com and chose family room (since traveling with two kids) but got two connecting rooms instead. Despite that I was happy with the comfort they offered.

Review 5：This is a family run hotel with excellent food and sweet Austrian charm.The chef is far too modest. There is a communal feel at breakfast anddinner. The evenings there is a subtle polish of a quality diningestablishment.When I arrived, the receptionist (a part of the family who owns the hotel) knew who I was before I asked if I was in the right place. As it turns out, most folks who visit return year after year so they often know their clientele and commune with them in the evenings. This place is perfect slice of Austria. I was there during Easter and the men were outside in the evenings every hour on the hour singing a vigil at six stations. It was beautiful to hear and somber to watch. Here you will find tradition, lovely hazelnut schnapps that will linger on your tongue for years, and a warmth not often found at any ski destination in the world; and I have been to many. When I have children, I will make sure I bring them to Grossal to visit the coolest playground I have seen in some time and to enjoy a simple and perfect experience at the Verwonhnhotel. Thank you to everyone at the Verwonhnhotel for loving live. The Seattlelite alone on business travel during the Easter Holliday.
