Reviews for Les Terrasses Du Bassin
Review 1:The breakfast could be included on the price. But it was very good quality, so it is worth it.
Review 2:The location is superb, with views over the canals, on the village center. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast (although payed on the side) was very good. The room was confortable , clean and with nice syze and decoration. It was very quiet at night. I would stay there again!
Review 3:Having to leave to come home
Review 4:Everything was great at this lovely little hotel, the location especially, as it was right on the river. Food was also very good in the restaurant. Breakfast very reasonable and what a setting! Wifi worked well I have only praise for this hotel and it's staff. I will definitely return
Review 5:The traffic on the bridge nearby
Review 6:The room was fine with a balcony and a view on the river. The food and the salads were great too. The staff was very friendly. This was really the France-experience. 9,5/10
Review 7:Lovely bed, room and view and the meal we had on The Bridge was delicious with no mosquitos. We canoed down La Sorge and walked and caught buses and it was all very convenient.
Review 8:Would have liked a kettle in the room and the shutters were fairly noisy due to windy weather outside but otherwise perfect
Review 9:In a beautiful location and really friendly staff. Very happy.
Review 10:Large rooms in a great location. Staff was so nice and accommodating. Breakfast was good in a beautiful setting. Great value for the cost. Will stay there again.
Review 11:We stayed for weekend and were delighted to find the hotel situated on the river surrounded by little bars and restaurants. They were lit at night and the whole view was very picturesque. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The view from our window was beautiful. On the Sunday morning the best market we have ever visited was held throughout the town. We will definitely be returning.

Review 20:Great place, fantastic staff and a brilliant waterside location in one the nicest little towns in the region. Thoroughly recommended.
Review 21:Beautiful view of the water.
Review 22:Very nice location on the River.
Review 23:Lovely setting next to the river with fantastic restaurant in the hotel. Very tranquil and unique setting.
Review 24:The staff was great, the location, the beautiful terrasse, the breakfast
Review 25:street noise
Review 26:location staff food
Review 27:Staff and location were terrific. The accommodations left a lot to be desired.
Review 28:Really enjoyed where the hotel was located. Very unique. Loved having dinner on the bridge. When we walked into the room we just felt like coming home.
Review 29:This was an older hotel but in a prime spot. The room was small but adequate and the air conditioning was most welcome. We were able to park nearby
Review 30:Small criticism: we arrived in a heavy rain, and there is no handy spot to unload bags without getting soaked. We ended up finding a place to park and sitting in the car until the rain let up.
Review 31:Wonderful location, helpful, friendly staff, comfortable room
Review 32:I stayed in a recently renovated room, very provencial yet modern and comfortable. Delicious breakfast and perfectly located off the Sorgue nearby many restaurants and cafés. Would definitely go back again!
Review 33:Close to street, but the sound of rushing water blocked out most street noise.
Review 34:Perfect stay. Wonderful staff, unbeatable location with restaurant right over the water. Breakfast with a sunrise, the sound of rushing water, feeding the ducks; what is more prefect than that?! Comfortable beds, separate shower and toilet, soundproof windows. Easy 5 minute walk from bus stop ( took the bus from Avignon...only 2 euro), and another few minutes from train station. Don't need a car as the buses and trains take you all over the Provence.
Review 35:Internet was a problem (on our iPad), but staff kindly allowed us to use the office computer for some necessary correspondence.
Review 36:In a beautiful location next to a branch of the Sorgue River, our stay here was very pleasant. Staff were warm and friendly, the room was of a good size, and very quiet though overlooking the street. The restaurant is good as well. We'd stay here again.
Review 37:lack of dedicated parking, although this is pretty much the norm in l'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, so not really a negative
Review 38:exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, extremely accommodating, superb location, great view of the river and city, restaurant seemed very popular. This is a new "must stop" for us.
Review 39:Loved the location right on the river in a gorgeous little French town ,eating breakfast on the bridge , & the fabulous market on Sunday morning. Don't forget to have a peak in the church !
Review 40:Parking was a problem. The Internet only worked once out of the four times we tried to access it. Internet should be available in the rooms. The room was basic. There was a safe in the room but it didn't work because it needed batteries. We asked if someone could look at it but nothing ever happened. This hotel has potential but needs some TLC ! I would recommend this hotel for an overnight stay, preferably Sat night so you can take in the Sunday market.
Review 41:The location was excellent. The restaurant /bar has a lovely view. We enjoyed a beer one afternoon, and the meal we had one evening was tasty and well presented.
Review 42:The bathroom needs an overhaul. Noisy building work nearby.
Review 43:Charming old-fashioned Provencal hotel. Wonderful view over the river from our bedroom. Fabulous terrace for clients' to dine on stretches across river, very romantic. Air-conditioned!
Review 44:Location, the town, the room was noisy and very old. One of our roomssmelled of smoke. It is located on a very busy street with lots of roadnoise. Dark hallways, old rooms. Very outdated. Did not want to spendany time in room. We had a very rude next door neighbor that scolded ourkids at 5 in the afternoon for trying to open the door with the key andquietly knocking on our door. Stayed in 7 hotels on our france, Italy, and Ireland Trip. This was the least desirable of all the hotels. Lookfor something else!
Review 45:Staff was fairly good.
Review 46:The room was very sparse and overlooked the terrace and other outdoorrestaurants close by which made it very noisy.
Review 47:We enjoyed the breakfast in the dining room on the water with the greatsunlight and view of the water flowing in the river. The location wasclose to the old town and many restaurants.
Review 48:Second time staying here - staff are always helpful, rooms very, very clean and location cannot be beat for a weekend of antique shopping in le Sorgue!
Review 49:The location was perfect. If you're going to stay in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, you should stay at this hotel. The lady who runs it could not have been more pleasant and helpful.
Review 50:Why is it only 2 Star ? Seemed much better than that.
Review 51:The location - fascinating to be so close to the surging waters. Very comfortable bedroom. Charming open-plan eating area, and good food. Warm, friendly welcome; all the staff were cheerful and helpful.
Review 52:Very friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfast on the bridge over the river watching the trout. Good value for money.
