Reviews for Villa Estelle
Review 1:The villa was unique and beautiful. The location in the medieval village was a surprising one so close to Nice. The tiny streets around the village were challenging to drive but once at the Villa a private world existed behind the property walls. Very special place.
Review 2:The shower wasn't great - just a pull out shower tap that you had to hold. Having to wait till 4pm to go into the b&b was rather late.
Review 3:The overall ambience of the building. Beautiful courtyard. Good sense of design
Review 4:The wifi didn't work.
Review 5:The host was wonderful and took care of our every need. The hotel was perfect and we were all very happy to be there and didn't want to leave.
Review 6:Without a pool and being high on a very steep hill we had to catch 2 busses to get to the beach. Admittedly the busses were free which took some of the pain away. Having the same breakfast every day got very boring after a few days. We bought our own fruit and cheese to get some variety.
Review 7:We liked the spacious Estelle Suite, with its own patio. If you're expecting luxury, modern and new, then this is not the place for you. Loved some of the restaurants, namely Le Perousin a short walk up the hill and Chez David a short walk down the hill.
Review 8:We stayed for 3 nights in the Estelle Suite. The room itself was beautiful, and the terrace was the perfect spot to enjoy the sun and the view out over the town to the sea. Breakfast in the gorgeous courtyard was a great start to each day and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. All in all, a fantastic experience, we'll definitely be back!!
Review 9:each room has a different decoration and some of them are dark and feel outdated. İ didn't feel comfortable with the bed clothing as there was a blanket semi covered instead of duvet cover.
Review 10:We liked the hotel's location just in the middle of the medieval town that you feel the history with a marvelleous patio overlooking the city. Manager of the hotel was very kind
Review 11:Horrendous access Unsuitable for guests with mobility problems Locks to bedroom not working No kettle/tea/coffee facility in room
Review 12:Friendly staff Lovely breakfast Spacious accomodation with good views
Review 13:It was quite hard to climb the hill every night for dinner in one of the restaurants there. The alternative was to go into town. The promised wifi never appeared and that was a great nuisance as I came back to 150 emails.
Review 14:It is beautifully situated in the old part of town. The terrace where breakfast was served is lovely and spacious. The cosy living-room off the terrace was good for reading.
Review 15:We adored the villa, appreciated the efforts made in interior decoration, which was a lovely combination of old and modern. Staff was professional and the house pets adorable. Location was absolutely charming, we walked up and down the hill, but there is a free mini-bus every 15 minutes until 21.30.
Review 16:That there wasn't a kettle and tea facilities in bedrooms as some nights we would have loved a cuppa that was all.
Review 17:We looked after so well for the 5 days we stayed Olivia was so attentive and eager to please, we couldn't have asked for better service.
Review 18:Actually the property requires a complete renovation if not demolition

Review 32:We had to use a taxi to get there because we arrived to Nice Ville train station late night. The taxi driver had a hard time to find Villa Estelle so we paid 95 Euro.It was pain.Try to go there early then you can use train or bus to the town
Review 33:The couple who ran the place was very helpful, welcoming, and provided wonderful breakfast and excellent service! accommodated with late check in at 11:30pm and made early breakfast for us at 7:30am, lovely patio and a great view, fantastic historical building etc

Review 35:The staff were most helpful. The room was traditionally designed and inkeeping with the building. Excellent location. Terrace breakfast wassuperb. Good French breakfast.
Review 36:Our experience was fantastic. We stayed 4 days in June 2013 at theEstelle Suite, which has its own private terrace, very large room, really gorgeous. Also has a very large bathroom with shower and aseparate huge bathtub. Fionna was a great hostess, and they all makesure you had the best possible experience. The village is lovely and hasgood restaurants too. A perfect location to explore the French Rivieraif you have a car. We found the price very reasonable.
Review 37:tidy rooms every 3 days !!! we stay 6 days so ... !!! they dont have telefone at room ,and the wify dont work at rooms, you have to go to the terrace or to the living ...
Review 38:the terrace at the breakfast , the breakfast , the view from the terrace , room space , delicate , very tasteful decor , the owner very pleasant , dedicate ...
Review 39:only negative was the shower and bath, hand held shower head and too short to shower standing up, plus the bath plug leaked so you could not use the bath... but everythingelse was amazing!!
Review 40:The apartement was beautiful, very comfortable, quiet and very stylish. Staff very accommodating and friendly. location great.
Review 41:The shower didn't work in our room- so had to use the bath tap, which was quite uncomfortable
Review 42:Beautiful location, lovely room and patio, and secluded. The village is beautiful as well.
Review 43:Would prefer having a shower rather than a hand-held. Would like to havehad more information on how to drop off luggage and catch the shuttle. It took us about an hour and a half to figure all this out after afairly long drive. The shuttle bus driver was extremely rude and shouldbe fired (I know this is not the hotel's problem.) We wish the hotel hadtold us the "city would be closed" Saturday night. We found this outwhen we returned from touring and couldn't get to the hotel by car. Themaid left dirty sheets in our room on top of our luggage.
Review 44:The friendly owners, the history, the view, proximity to historic sitesand good restaurants, nice restroom facilities and toiletries. Mini barrefrigerator.
Review 45:Don't come hear if you are looking for the latest in 21st c luxury, butdo if you want charm and a romantic setting.
Review 46:Wonderful old building in a stunning location. Breath-taking views fromthe terrace. Very nice Irish hospitality.
Review 47:Parking, and not enough orange juice
Review 48:Most everything, in particular the orange juice
Review 49:Our Estelle suite was nice, large terrace and good bed.
Review 50:Nice and clean, friendly staff with good knowledge of the area, location, comfortable, out of the way, easy walking to restaurants.
