Reviews for La Santa Cruz Resort & Spa Almuñecar

Review 1:Nothing bad to say!

Review 2:Spacious clean apartment with good sized terrace and lovely views of the mountains and over the town. Although quite a way from the sea, it was less than five minute drive in the car. By far the biggest 2-bed apartment we've stayed in. Our small dog was welcome. At the top of the street was a beautiful Roman Aquaduct with kids play area.we will definitely be returning.

Review 3:We had a property there just sold great spot we rented as we were moving poor equipment no kettle fuses kept blowing shame as could be very nice just wants a bit spent on it like blinds Tec I would return but not to number 21 we rented a 1 bed last year much better I think if owner supplied discomfort they would have more people return every year

Review 4:The pool was not open at the times it was supposed to be and this was the main point we booked this property - because it had a decent looking pool.

Review 5:The apartment was beautiful.

Review 6:Everything all right. We missed some minor details in the kitchen : a cork-screw, a palette knife, a small carving board and two breakfast or salad bowls.

Review 7:In January it was calm and beautiful place. Great view, lot of sunshine on the terrace.

Review 8:The bad smell in the bathroom and the small TV with only Spanish speaking channels

Review 9:The view from the balcony and the layout of the apartment.

Review 10:location next to friends

Review 11:Long uphill walk back from town/beach area.

Review 12:Great views.

Review 13:TO FAR OUT

Review 14:COMPHEY BED

Review 15:No information on arrival, reception closed, had to phone to be let in. No facilities open, outside and inside pools closed. Breakfast delivered day before and definitely not full continental breakfast. If you were on full board had to walk down the road to local restaurant. Only Spanish spoken, we speak a little of the language and were able to get by. Don't really cater for families. Lack of kitchen equipment, had to buy a couple of decent glasses, chipped and cracked cups. Having lived in Spain for the last 12 years and visited for the last fifty, can honestly say this is one of the poorest and badly run properties I have ever stayed in. Would not recommend it to anyone. The information about the facilities at the complex is not correct and gives a totally wrong impression.

Review 16:Quiet area, nice views. Only person to seem to know what she was doing was the apartment cleaner, which was clean.

Review 17:Disappointing that the swimming pool, gym and tennis facilities were closed even though this was Easter holiday season.

Review 18:Beautiful views of mountains, orchards, sea and old town castle, surrounded by terraced gardens and bougainvillea from huge terrace and situated next to a Roman aqueduct in a park all in a peaceful location on edge of town just ten minutes from beach and five from centre of Almunecar. Very spacious apartment, helpful staff.

Review 19:staff spoke only spanish. for an apartment the kitchen was pretty poorly equipped. not much glasses, cups etc..

Review 20:apartment with mountain- en seaview, enough square meters! large balcony. quiet uphill, but only a five minute's walk to the center.

Review 21:Sea view is true, but it is limited through houses and such. We weren't asked if we wanted breakfast though it was part of the offer. Staff speaks almost no English, communication difficult.

Review 22:Lovely interior, furniture, bed, sink...balcony big enough, lovely garden to look at. Kitchen useful and fairly good equipped. enormous size of apartment for two people.

Review 23:We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and the reception is closed onweekends. So it was a little difficult to get the key. We found a phonenumber on the door and came in contact with a nice woman - but she didnot understand a word English. No shade on the balkony. It would havebeen nice with a parasol.

Review 24:Nice balkony with a view

Review 25:The only downside was that I had asked for a sea view and I didn't really have one it was more like a mountanous one but it was still beautiful.

Review 26:The apartment was huge, it was clean and it was lovely. :ad beautiful views too.

Review 27:Disappointed with the breakfast which was included. This was not in the restaurant but consisted of pre-packed items left in the apartment's kitchen. Sachets of instant coffee, long life milk, toast biscuits, individual margarines and jams and various bits of confectionary.

Review 28:Very comfortable and spacious apartment which was immaculate and clean,

Review 29:Hotel was totally closed when we arrived! Not a soul there. Sign saidcall this number, but it didn't work, so we were out of luck, andhad to go find another hotel. A horrible experience.

Review 30:It was quiet time of year and we enjoyed the quiet. The apartment was clean, attractive and it met all our needs. We had a lovely view. Close to the mountains, sea, shopping. We had a great stay. Thank you!

Review 31:breakfat a little bit poor
