Reviews for HM Martinique

Review 1:Hated it..full of rowdy drunk men and women.. Doors being slammed all the time no consideration from other guests Full of stage and hens Hotel just like a night for passion that yyou.pick up and take back. Never ever recommend this hotel unlesd your 18--30 groups

Review 2:Disgusting rooms, plaster falling off walls, bed sheets filthy, curtains totally faded & stained. Front area like a war torn building site. Only booked for 1 night to visit Pirates Adventure show, but ended up driving back to Cala D'or after show. Didn't stay the night in hotel as felt my skin crawling when in room. No idea why anyone would book this place. Worst, poorest, run down hotel ever booked.

Review 3:Nothing

Review 4:Noisey Guys and Girls all hours of the morning. My wife having her bra pinched from the washing line by Guys next door.

Review 5:Rooms cleaned and fresh towels everyday. General clean everywhere.

Review 6:At 4:10 am the man from the reception came into our room . We were sleeping , until I opened my eyes and saw that guy inside my room I stiil don't understand what he was looking for .....I would be happy to get an answer.

Review 7:The hotel was noisy so it's best to get drunk every night! People can be talking on corridors below and you can still hear them! The aircon only worked if the patio doors are shut so we brought a spare key from reception €1 and kept it in the electric slot so when we came in from a night out the room was nice and cool ...otherwise you will wake up sweating!! Take ear plugs!! If you want a nice hotel pay for it as this is defiantly a party hotel! If you want a cheap and cheerful holiday This perfect...it was clean and tidy.

Review 8:The location was good it was very near by night life ... Taxi ride was only €4-€5 euros...the pool was clean and always tidy. Reception staff always helpful and english reps on site most days. The all inclusive drinks got you drunk! You get what you pay for! The food is ok but gets repetitive!...there's a spar next door so we brought our own drinks before went out and drank there drinks in the day. The balconys are huge.

Review 9:I knew what I was coming for but the noise was ridiculous on the saturday but again if you read the reviews you knew that that's what was going to happen

Review 10:The staff were amazing. Considering that most of the people that go to this place is for a stag or hen party they always had a smile on there faces and were very friendly. Again with the cleanliness it was always kept clean and tidy considering the people that come here it was a lot of spillage

Review 11:The paid wifi didn't work very well but that was the only thing wrong.

Review 12:Location was great, poolside was amazing, choice of all inclusive drinks bands was a benefit and place was nice.

Review 13:Location is a 5 minute walk but is not a problem at all

Review 14:Really large apartment that was extremely clean and tidy. Great value for money and id return again 100%

Review 15:Mattresses are rubbish - I slept on the foam sofa the second night!! For hens, stags or mates - wouldn't recommend for families as probably a bit noisey!

Review 16:Easy to walk to beach and the strip, great pool and supermarket on site. Good, clean accommodation, decent shower water pressure. Good value - about £45 for 2 nights in April

Review 17:Having our door kicked so lock dident work and reception not been to bothered, moved us to another room that hadn't been touched by cleaners, so got moved back to room with no lock and got offered the safe in room for free.

Review 18:I liked the food and that staff was friendly even to the all-inclusive guests

Review 19:Pool was cold and food was just ok, decent enough to keep you going though.

Review 20:Location and facilities great, was noisy but expected. Don't take family here though. This is a party hotel for young groups/hens/stag do's

Review 21:It said "all inclusive" when we booked over bookin.com but when checking-in we were told that the "all inclusive" package would cost extra. Not even breakfast was included. And to charge 10 EUR per day for mediocre internet and 3 EUR per day for TV is a shame.

Review 22:Would have been ok if they hadn't put this false advertising "all inclusive". This and the ridiculous charging for internet and TV overshadows everything.

Review 23:selcatering apartement no kettle, no toaster, no hairdrying. I requested a hair dryer and was told I had to pay 10 euros deposit and 2 euros a day.

Review 24:room was very basic but was clean.

Review 25:We had a wonderful stay here, in the middle of october. Great location, nice clean appartment, friendly staff, good and clean swimmingpool, a lot of parking possibilities. Very good value for money.

Review 26:Lack of HP Brown on the breakfast buffet! ILLEGAL Paying 3 Euros for the tv per day...standard hotel facility and the channels were sometimes weak and unreliable or not there at all.

Review 27:My best friend (26) and I (30) were in need of a little cheering up and getting away from it all. Having been to Magaluf in peak season when I was 17 (Yes I had to take a note from my mum to the travel agent...) and again at 22 and 24, flights were coming up at only £52 return...We were a little apprehensive considering other peoples negative comments about the hotel. But we had nothing to worry about. We had a really good experience and met lots of fun people.Having stayed at many hotels both in the UK and around the world, we have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. We stayed on an all inclusive board which included up to 5 meals a day as well as local alcoholic drinks/soft drinks. Although spirits were generic brands, but branded fizzy drinks were available free of charge. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner each day, you could take your all inclusive drink from the bar to dinner also. There were morning and afternoon snacks available too if you were hungry at other times. Overall the food was of good standard, a little repetitive at times however considering the low price we paid for the room and all inclusive in general, we believe that it represented excellent value for money.Yes the hotel has lots of groups of young people in It, and we stayed end of season in October. We could imagine the hotel may become quite rowdy in peak season and maybe a little harder to 'police'...but to be honest its Magaluf, and I would say the majority of people come here for fun, partying and some very late nights! I was surprised to see families with young children and babies at this hotel as Magaluf is known for its antics. I think in general the hotel managed its guests very well, on arrival we were handed a list of penalty charges for bad behaviour should things get out of hand. I got the impression that trouble is quickly stamped upon and dealt with...however I am not sure how realistic that would be in peak season with many many parties to manage.

Review 28:A little expensive wi-fi which didn't work to well.

Review 29:Stayed one week and wanted to be close to the beach and restsurants but also needed some peace when i worked in the hotel room. It was perfect for this and i can really recomend it.

Review 30:The hotel rooms were not very good standard. The hotel all inclusive was not very inclusive, if you had a wrist band you felt like you had lergy. All the staff were very rude and unhelpful. You could only get 1 drink at a time even though I had 2 broken toes and found it difficult to walk. There was no poolside snack bar, you could only eat at the restaurant. At the drink hut at the pool the drinks selection was limited and you wasn't allowed a straw or a glass, only those who paid were allowed them, instead you had to drink out of paper cups. Once 11pm came the bar shut a d you wasn't allowed to buy a drink or sit and finish your drink, you had to go sit in the reception area. The reception area had no free wifi or air conditioning. The food was foul, they hardly changed the meals from lunch to dinner, if you was hungry after 9pm there wasn't anything to eat. There was no bottles of water available at all, we had to buy from The local shop. Coffee and tea was only available at breakfast or between 3 and 5. Snack time was limited food. If you wanted an ice cream you had to go in the restaurant and get a bowl and eat it in there. This is the worst all inclusive we have all ever been to. We was told this was an adult only hotel but when we got there they were young children there. The lifeguard was very rude and wouldn't let us dangle our feet in the small pool, he came over sceaming and shouting at us to get out and kicked over our sunbeds. There was no entertainment at all, at the pool they played music but next doors hotels was better and louder. Also at night they just played music.

Review 31:Internet expensive

Review 32:Friendly staff, good location, well equipped kitchen, good value for money.

Review 33:Everything the reception staff where 1st class as always stayed here last 11 years without any problems

Review 34:Not for families dirty , food I wouldn't give my dog. Views disgusting. All in all lucky to not catch something.

Review 35:Only 2 chairs on balcony but rooms for 3

Review 36:Loved pool area, food lovely, reception staff very helpful

Review 37:The food wasn't great, leaks in our bathroom

Review 38:The location

Review 39:Staff were rude

Review 40:Breakfast was great

Review 41:Bedding not change daily and clean towels and on daily basis

Review 42:Location and pool area

Review 43:Had no aircon for the first 2 days and nights

Review 44:Paid wifi would be nice to have free wifi but everything else was good

Review 45:Location, staff, and facilities

Review 46:18 lads on stag do. Couldn't ask for anymore. Spot on hotel. Good clean and large rooms, good size pool and pool area with bar. Very happy.

Review 47:Food was much better this year loads of different choices

Review 48:Very Noisy. Not recommended for families with Children :(

Review 49:Great Location :)

Review 50:staff

Review 51:No free wifi

Review 52:Food was excellent ! Nice clean stay . Nice pool .. stayed here twice now

Review 53:Going home!

Review 54:We used this hotel as a base before we returned home. It was very clean, and the staff we exceptionally friendly

Review 55:The small all inclusive bar by the pool. One drink at a time and out off the way.

Review 56:Very good clean hotel. Food was good. Rooms were tidy.

Review 57:The hotel was dimly lit up on the approach to reception area late at night and it can be rowdy, but that's magaluf

Review 58:Generally,the hotel was in a good location, clean with friendly staff

Review 59:Just about the most uncomfy beds I have ever slept in!

Review 60:Reasonable VFM, you got what you paid for, hotel and rooms were clean enough without being absolutely pristine. Some of the rooms had taken a bit of beating over time and had been 'patched' up a little but we didnt pay for 5* and its Magaluf so your not going there for relaxing luxury. Very helpful staff. About £20 to upgrade to all inclusive so if you want to recover round the pool during the day, the beers are decent and cold :)

Review 61:Children's playground was unavailable and so was the kids club. Empty cups in swimming pool after half day. Unfortunately silence after midnight was not respected.

Review 62:House keeping was there everyday with fresh towels. Unfortunately silence after midnight was not respected. Receptionist very helpful and patient. big choice of fruit for breakfast. Overall, for the 3*** hotel good.

Review 63:VERY expensive wifi - per 4 days i paid 25euro. In nearest hotel for 3 days - 10euro. Also i didnt have strong signal of wifi, that why i have to spend some time for catching wifi in lobby. In rooms there was many ants. Very loud, young and drunk people in hotel.. people in hallway was screaming, running, talking very loud, clapping through all nigh and day! Sometimes i was not able to sleep. Really annoying! I will not recommend this hotel for couples and people who are looking for the peace, rest and romantic. This is a place for parties, fun and crazy, big companies. Also area around hotel was not so clean.

Review 64:Room service, friendly and smiling staff, big pool. Supermarket near the hotel. Close to sea.

Review 65:During our stay there were spainish students there partying from midnight to 7 am outside our apartment apparently this happens each year we asked to move but the staff were not helpful at all. They sed they were on all floors but we spoke to 3 different people on floor 1 & 2 & they sed they heard nothing want to take things further if you could let me no where to send the complaint thanx .

Review 66:Good clean pool area & rooms

Review 67:it was very noisy sometimes during the night, lots of drunk british party people. So bring earplugs.

Review 68:We had a wonderful stay here, the end of october. Great location, nice clean appartment, friendly staff, and very good swimmingpool. Very good value for money.

Review 69:Email communication from the hotel. It was shocking if I'm honest, I emailed them 4 or 5 times to only get 1 reply very frustrating :-(

Review 70:Good valve for money with decent food to choose from all day. Nice larger on tap too :-)

Review 71:Everything was clean (except ventilation hole that wasn`t cleaned in the bathroom for a very long time) and ok, but you can see that there is working on quantity not quality (new furniture, but very shabby)

Review 72:Excellent hotel for such price. No price change (only for breakfast) - 2 or 4 people. We stayed 2 and had a room with 2 bedrooms and kitchen - as all others. Excellent breakfast buffet. Good possibilities for relaxing - nice pool area, minigold, tennis court, inside pool, table tennis and others.. Good balconies with light, table and chairs. If you have view to pool - great, if to the street - not so nice..

Review 73:They were quick to try and cancel a room for another three of our group even though we explained they were only coming for two nights and would pay for three on our arrival. Thus leading to them getting a room further away from us than expected after some unnecessary hassle when they arrived at reception.

Review 74:Hotel was basic but excellent for the price. Service could have been slightly better from staff but I appreciate it was the end of the season for them.

Review 75:The hotel is a bit shabby and could use some refurbishing. Very poor soundproofing, and whereas the place is very popular among hens and stags from Britain, we could only sleep using earplugs. Otherwise it was an OK base for exploring the southern part of the island.

Review 76:The hotel was cheap and had a pool. Rooms were cleaned and towels replaced daily.

Review 77:The room was really durty, as well as bathroom and dishes. the bed was very uncomfortable. The hotel is very very noisy! Too many young people disrespectful.

Review 78:We was near the beach, the hotel was close to shops and the price was attractive.

Review 79:The staff were rude, the rooms were dirty, the bedding were dirty, I have nothing good to say about this hotel, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone my stay there was appalling, the bedding wasn't changed, you would leave your dirty bedding in a pile on the bed the cleaner would put the same dirty linen back on your bed, I know as I work for a hotel myself we would never do that at our hotel. You go to reception to complain and they did nothing about it, what kind of hotel are they running. You say its a 3star + I would say 0star. I loved magaluf but that hotel never again it seriously needs looking into.

Review 80:Nothing about this excited me

Review 81:Not enough seating at bar area. Not enough local spirits offered for allinclusive guests. Cheaper alternatives of Malibu and Peach Scnappscould've been offered.

Review 82:The rooms were very clean. Maid service almost daily. Clean towels, andsheets changed. Food was great. Staff were polite and friendly. Hotel inmy opinion was very clean.

Review 83:ll incluive and noisy, but it is a stag & Hens hotel so what is expected, it's for the youngsters not anybody over 40

Review 84:room ok nd lrge with fridge & 2 ring burner

Review 85:It was noisy every night all night with young people shouting banging at the top of their voices no one seemed to stop them or quiet them down in four days I had no sleep.

Review 86:The fact it was so near the beach, bars and eateries

Review 87:Very load. Young people make parties from morning till morning :) scream, shout and...

Review 88:The stuff very friendly. The rooms cleaned every day. Good value for money. Very big pool. Big rooms and good bathroom. But the hotel best suits for parties for weekends, not for rest at all :) Most of all were hen parties and stags.

Review 89:Could be very noisy especially in the early hours of the morning.

Review 90:The hotel was clean and staff very nice, rooms were large. Near shops, beach and strip.

Review 91:To noisy people banging on doors all along the corridor at silly hours in the morning. I.e 4 clock in the morning.

Review 92:Staff

Review 93:Everything

Review 94:Great for hen & stags or groups of friends.

Review 95:Hotel was clean and close to where I wanted to be

Review 96:The room was really durty, as well as dishes. The hotel is very very noisy!

Review 97:Good value for money.

Review 98:staff in restaurant

Review 99:some of the fixtures and fittings could do with attention

Review 100:the location helpful staff

Review 101:Great location, brilliant hotel, 100% recommended

Review 102:Noise

Review 103:Location

Review 104:The excessive charge for use of fire extinguisher

Review 105:Couldn't fault the price or the facilities, great staff didn't mind the lads banter

Review 106:Everything, spot on!

Review 107:Food was the same each day. No security regarding noise. No comfortable seating

Review 108:Very `clean

Review 109:Wouldnt go unless u are part of a large group.

Review 110:Great for stags and hens! Good for a long weekend! We were a hen party of 17 and had a ball.
