Reviews for La Prévôté - Chateaux Hôtels Collection
Review 1:After dark hotel is a little difficult to find. GPS does not work well, due to the fact hotel entrance is basically in an alley.
Review 2:Hotel is charming and owner went out of his way to help us. We arrived very late, and had difficulties finding the hotel, but staff walked out and met us. The owner (and chef) parked our car and then moved it later to a better spot. Fixed us something to eat even though the kitchen had closed. Room very comfortable.
Review 3:Parking in town was a bit difficult, as there are not many spaces available throughout town.
Review 4:Easy walking to all that we needed, Breakfasts were superb! The hotel restaurant served the best dinner in town.
Review 5:Not a criticism but even a mature couple would prefer a genuine double bed rather to have two twins pushed together. And the room safe and bathroom scale did not work...no big deal really but indicates a lack of ongoing attention to detail.
Review 6:Amazing food - spend the money! Excellent restoration. Extremely attentive staff.
Review 7:Wifi is somewhat limited due to the thick walls of the building, other than that, it's a perfect spot... Wish we could have stayed longer!
Review 8:Jean & Severine have a perfect place to enjoy your time in L'Isle and see a piece of Provence. The dining is four stars, the staff were engaging and professional.
Review 9:This place was a little hard to find, but what a find! Accommodations and dinner were great, English was well spoken and all were friendly. Looking forward to our next stay.
Review 10:I wouldn't call this a bad experience; however, we arrived on a Sunday. The entire town was a giant marketplace making the very narrow streets virtually impassable. Our driver got us within a couple blocks of the hotel, then we walked past all of the food and craft stalls to the entrance with our luggage. Once we checked in we thoroughly enjoyed the festive atmosphere of this small town.
Review 11:This is a very small hotel, about 5 rooms I believe. It is very unique in it's layout, but very tastefully decorated and situated right in the middle of town. The dining and patio area are charming, especially with the small river running under the hotel and restaurant. The operators were wonderful and we dined one night at the hotel restaurant and it was elegant.
Review 12:Nothing.
Review 13:Everything, the location couldn't have been better, especially since we did not have a car. It was clean & spacious & the breakfast was delish.
Review 14:the restaurant was a bit too pricey, but the food was great. parking was difficult due to the sunday market
Review 15:beautifully decorated boutique hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. the location was perfect and so was ambience of the restaurant (with a river flowing underneath it!) the staff was very accommodating, letting us park our bikes within their vicinity and putting in an extra bed
Review 16:Calling itself a restaurant with rooms rather than a hotel, one expected similar quality with the cuisine. This was a disappointment Dinner was uninspiring and overpriced. But there were other restaurants of better quality and value within a stone's throw, where we had delightful meals. Our experience might have been unusual, but only others can say.
Review 17:Isle Sur La Sogne is an amazing small town close to Avignon built on an island in the Sogne plain. It's townscape, shopfronts and atmosphere are stunning. It is the centre of the Provence antiquarian trade with (it is said) 300 antiques traders. But the town is also a Mecca for foodies, with restaurants and bars at every turn. In the centre of the town is a fantastic, decorated, Baroque church. To the rear of this is an old nunnery painstakingly converted into La Prevote by the young owners. The quality of the renovation, the materials used and the cool, pastel Provencal colours throughout are a total delight. The whole conversion has been carried out by the owners, with little experience but much passion. We have stayed in few such perfect buildings.
Review 18:beautifully restored architecture, the river running through the ground floor was magical. The breakfast was french coffee, croissants, freshly squeezed orange juice - just no street.
Review 19:Location and wonderful restaurant - welcoming hosts.
Review 20:Good Location. Reception is very friendly, and the room is amazing.
Review 21:Beautiful boutique hotel in the center of the pretty town. Charming owner. The best breakfast in the dining room above the river stream!

Review 30:The restaurant was great. Room was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Review 31:we stayed here in mid-november,hotel was absolutely empty, but we were given a room with a strong smell of smoke from sigarets. We had to keep the window always open to get rid of the smell. And they didn't even apologize...
Review 32:Only Public parking area and it was across town. Fine while there, but abit inconvenient when traveling the country side nearby.
Review 33:Our room was perfect, comfortable and beautifully appointed. We did notget the sitting area as promised in reservation nor 2 beds. The staffmoved us to another room where a kind could be made into twins.Lovelyhistoric B&B with Roman bath and stream running underneath.
Review 34:Mattress needs to be replaced. To us it was very hard and lumpy, and the pillows were not satisfactory.
Review 35:Restaurant. Room was very nice. Quiet location. Very nice owners. Would book again however we would request another room with a better mattress.
Review 36:A beautiful old building which has been renovated with high level of attention to detail. Fantastic location in the middle of Isle Sur La Sorgue. The restaurant is closed on Wednesday evenings but there are plenty of good places to eat. The market on Thursday was exceptional with local produce.
Review 37:We liked the fact that we were made to feel most welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The food and accommodation were first class and the location was perfect.....quiet, yet right in the centre of everything.
Review 38:WiFi is working awful. In the most expensivst room (suite) and in the restaurant yard is not working. Breakfast staff terrible: asking for another croissant we got the reply that they have ONLY one / person. Strange smell in the stairways.
Review 39:Very centrally located in the heart of the city. Excellent restaurant with good service (lunch & dinner) Hotel staff friendly
Review 40:Nothing but nothing.
Review 41:Jean Marie his wife and the rest of the staff were outstanding. No more words to describe there warm wellcome and the efforts they deployed to make our stay unforgattable. Finally I should stress that we had the finest dinner ever prepared by Jean Marie.
Review 42:The hotel was wonderfully restored with every attention to detail. The location was right in the centre of the old town and the food was just magnificent. The staff were very helpful and friendly
Review 43:The pillows felt like sleeping on a piece if Melba toast.
Review 44:Friendliness of the staff atmosphere in the wine bar restaurant and courtyard.
Review 45:Lots of stairs to our room.
Review 46:Very good restaurant with helpful staff.
