Reviews for Hotel L'Alguer

Review 1:el colchón era muy duro mi madre y yo tuvimos dolor de espalda, con unos estiramientos se pasa pero podrían cambiarlos, por lo demás todo bien

Review 2:una buena ubicación y el desayuno estuvo bien, bastante completo

Review 3:The only downside was a lack of laundry facilities.

Review 4:Great location right between the two beaches and close to the restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff too. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was plentiful.

Review 5:Noisy in the mornings for breackfast because the walls are thin... However still a good deal and 100% recommendable

Review 6:The room included breackfast (what I didn't know when I booked) It was a great surprise! Very clean, friendly staff, cozy and great value for money

Review 7:It is old but very pricey, breakfast was poor in the bathroom didn't have shampoo, had to buy on our own

Review 8:We needed to be in the area due to family arrangement and for a specific date so for us it was good location and that is all about the hotel

Review 9:We have been staying at this hotel every year for at least 10 years. I think that sums up what we think of it. Always great staff, great location and the most charming beach.

Review 10:The air conditioning was very old and noisy. The beds weren't very comfortable. The lift was out of action in the morning. We are an older couple and we were on the top floor. The breakfast room was too small and it was crowded. There is a marble staircase beside the breakfast bar that is very easy to fall down unless you are aware of it. This is a serious safety risk.

Review 11:The location beside the little harbour/beach is probably the only really good thing that the hotel has going for it.

Review 12:In mid July, it was quite expensive for what you get, but that's just the season. Parking can be challenging; there is a municipal car park about ten minutes' walk away, which is quite expensive, but all the street parking in the town is free and therefore you're lucky to find a space.

Review 13:The staff were very friendly and helpful. On check-in, the receptionist tried to find us a more suitable room (without us even asking her to), because we had only been able to book a triple room (three singles) for the two of us. She wasn't able to help because the hotel was fully booked, but it was appreciated. The location is great, overlooking the sea.

Review 14:No tea or coffee maker in room... And not enough pillows

Review 15:Wonderful views of the Mediterranean

Review 16:Nothing wrong with the hotel good value for money but a bit dated.

Review 17:No Bad experience

Review 18:Close to beach and room overlooking sea.

Review 19:Nothing

Review 20:Great location, lovely town

Review 21:Decent hotel with good location, but nothing else, breakfast very poor

Review 22:The breakfast

Review 23:The location

Review 24:Not our kind of breakfast. To much sweets, would have liked more different types of bread and cheese or something else than jam...

Review 25:It is a simple but friendly and quiet hotel in a small city by the sea. Nice seaviews and very clean. Staff is very helpful, especially with our baby. Will stay here again!

Review 26:We only stayed for one night at the hotel but thought it was good value for money. It is a typical seaside hotel with basic bedroom but good bathroom. All was very clean. The beds were a little hard, but the hotel is in a quiet part of the town but within 10 minutes walk of the old centre. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a room on the 3rd floor which had a sea panorama. Breakfasts were better than expected with the usual continental selection. L'Ametlla is a traditional resort which also has a working fishing port. As a result the seafood in the town is excellent. There are a number of lovely beaches in the town and particularly near the hotel, so is suited to families. With regard to parking we stayed in early July and managed to find a free parking space on the road only 25 yards from the entrance to the hotel.

Review 27:Breakfast was a bit quiet and somber. No music in the breakfast room, but apart from this no other issues.

Review 28:A lovely spanish hotel that caters for english people. The staffgenerally spoke some english so we could understand each other. It isright by the sea and a short distance to restaurants shops etc. a lovelysmall seaside town.

Review 29:Friendly and helpful staff. Liked my room on the top floor and the roof terrace on the roof. Good location being just a minute or two from the beach.

Review 30:Could not access wifi connection in hotel rooms only in common areas

Review 31:Clean friendly welcoming right by the beach

Review 32:Staff pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Good location very close to waters edge.

Review 33:Building works next to the hotel made it very noisy. Not easy to park nearby.

Review 34:Hotel was clean, had a good shower and nice breakfast.

Review 35:Breakfast montonous and limited. Noisy recycle bin collections every night

Review 36:Friendly staff Location Value for money

Review 37:thin walls bad bed no parking at all no minibars nobody speak english

Review 38:I wasn't fond of the weird foam pillow but maybe that's just me.

Review 39:Fabulous sea view, friendly staff, lovely clean hotel

Review 40:Perfect,
