Review 1：Room was freezing cold when we arrived. It took few hours to be warmed up by air conditioner. Staff never explained how to enter a parking just in front of our building. Made mistake in restaurant bill (rectified w/o problems). Lack of attention from the staff in breakfast room. These are all minor points and they didn't disturbe our short stay. But overall I had an impression this hotel lack a bit attention to details to make it really great.

Review 2：Beautiful calm spot right on the river bank. Extensive green grounds. Big free parking(s). Restaurant turned out a positive surprise both for breakfast and dinner. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Big and comfortable room.

Review 3：Lovely location and facilities on the river. Great restaurant. For a motel this was a very pleasant surprise. Probably would not suit travelers without a car but is only a short trip into the village by car.

Review 5：Very large, modern bedroom in one of the new blocks. Extremely comfortable bed. Lovely L'Occitane toiletries refreshed daily.

Review 6：WIFI was horrible!!!! ALSO, WARNING.... On Friday nights they have live music until 11:00 PM OMG Could not sleep until it was over. We were working the next day.... If you have children be careful. When you call to complain nothing happens. If you like Elvis songs until 11:00 PM then you might be happy. We were NOT.

Review 13：Our evening gluten free meal organised by the manageress/owner of the restaurant and the beautiful setting at the side of the river.the swimming pool was appreciated and ease of secure parking.

Review 14：The customer service was extremely poor. The reception staff were smoking outside the front door which wafted into our bedroom and you had to walk through their smoke, which was disappointing as we were dressed in nice clothes for a wedding. They continue to smoke while several guests, including Ourselves, waited to be seen. The young man at the front desk was very rude when there was a misunderstanding over a breakfast payment - he handled it very badly. This hotel is far too expensive for what it is. The room (outside, 2nd on the left of reception if you are facing the building) smelled very very badly of stale smoke.

Review 16：The entry key slot by the door did not work easily meaning no electricity until it engaged. Happened several times and should be repaired. Also the dusty gravel outside the patio door was not very nice.

Review 51：No shower curtain or cabin, the water was allover the bathroom floor. Hot and cold water were the other way round, i.e. hot when put on cold, which can be dangerous. A little bit out of town, as others commented, but in exchange you get ample parking.

I paid and got a superior room but my friends had a classic room and I don't think the difference between the two rooms justified the extra money that I paid. Yes it was slightly larger but I have stayed in far superior rooms to this for the same or less money. The terrace that I had with my room was in need of some TLC. I would certainly visit the area again but sure if I would stay in the Hotel again.
