Reviews for Apartamentos Russell

Review 1:The only thing that let the apartment down was the lack of cooking equipment, the major appliances were great but little things, such as a tray for use in the oven were absent. A kettle would also have been good.

Review 2:Great location on main street of Torla. Apartment very spacious and clean. Torla is a beautiful mountain village in a spectacular setting.

Review 3:The weather was quite hot (30+ degrees). Our room was in the top of the building and was very hot. The only negative is that it was difficult getting to sleep at night because of the heat. A small fan would have made all the difference.

Review 4:The room was great - large (huge by European standards), clean, and well appointed. Easy check in, with secure parking.

Review 5:An electric jug would be useful, but is not essential.

Review 6:The apartments were in a great location in Torla, and had their own easy to access, secure parking (which is rare in Torla). The smaller apartments were overbooked, so we were upgraded at no cost to a large, modern and quiet 2 bedroom apartment, which had 2 bathrooms and a large and well-equipped combined kitchen, dining and lounge area. The staff are located at the nearby Villa Russell and were helpful. While they spoke very little english (and we spoke only a little spanish), they were able to impart all the necessary information by sign language and demonstration. We stayed 4 nights and the weather was hot, so the apartment heated up in the day if you did not close the window shutters. Great area for hiking! Also a great view from the back of the apartments.

Review 7:We had the most beautiful views of the Pyrenees from our upstairs apartment. Spotlessly clean, with a well-appointed kitchen - even a juicer for making fresh orange juice! Luxurious bathroom and very comfortable bed and furniture. Helpful, friendly staff. Great parking space.

Review 8:A small thing, but you have to go to the Hotel Russell, a few doors back on the one-way street, to register and get a key. If you happen to park on the main road on the edge of town, you may not even see it.

Review 9:The apartment worked well. It provided a good launching place for walks in the area. A couple of small supermarkets in town. The off street parking is essential. I particularly liked the restaurant up the ramp next door -- good food at very reasonable prices.

Review 10:Wifi would be a handy inclusion, and if this is provided then this place would get top marks.

Review 11:The apartment was huge, even for four people. There were two large bathrooms, and the kitchen/living area was (if anything) too big. Facilities were modern, and the apartment is right in the centre of Torla (though it's only a small town). There is mini-market right across the road.

Review 12:The kitchen would benefit from a better oven/grill and a kettle. The combined microwave grill isn't really up to the job but hot plates were fine so only a minor point.

Review 13:A beautiful studio apartment with large velux windows looking out over the mountains of the national park Ordesa. Good parking.
