Reviews for Apartamentos Isa
Review 1:The noise. As is usual in multi tiered apartment blocks the noise from rooms above can and was terrible. It sounded as if people were constantly moving around furniture, scraping surface, for 3 whole days. Also considerable noise from the locals whom live in the apartment block opposite. A shame as otherwise a good spot.
Review 2:Good location, good value, comfortable mattresses.
Review 3:Swimming pool on the roof looks brilliant, but is very very cold, sea is much warmer. Reception closed at weekend, so if the wifi is reset after a power failure on friday, no wifi in the weekend... Dry air in the bedroom as there is no (direct) window there. Loud traffic below balcony.
Review 4:Close to supermarket, city center. Authentic village location, not just tourists in apartment blocks around. Great seaview Decent facilities for this price
Review 5:Loud on Saturday night due to a bar nearby. Very warm and a bit smelly. Theoretically anyone could come in as the window could not be locked and the appartment was on the ground floor. Appartment within a building which seemed to be under construction.
Review 6:Nice view on the sea. Quiet except for Saturday night. Sufficient space.
Review 7:The beds weren't that comfortable and the bathroom didn't offer much privacy.
Review 8:Good basic accommodation with adequate facilities for self catering - great if you're on a budget like we were. The apartments are in the centre of Tazacorte and near to two supermarkets and several restaurants and bars. The beach/port area is about a 20 minute walk down a winding hill. We loved sitting up by the rooftop pool which has great views over the sea and surrounding banana plantations - the pool was too cold to swim in though!
Review 9:Loved the apartment but would have liked to have a choice of a double bed with duvet instead of twin singles if possible. Although beds n bedding were perfectly adequate n really clean n tidy.
Review 10:Pool n rooftop terraces really relaxing with superb views of surroundings.
Review 11:The bed itself was quite comfortable, but the plastic cover under the sheet was awful. The standard of the apartment is VERY basic. Not even a microwave oven.
Review 12:The town is very picturesque. The place is sunny, and connected to other places on the island with buses. It is preferable to rent a car, if you want to make excursions.
Review 13:Although it looks very nice it was not very practical for us that the bedroom had amost all glass instedad of wall to the livingroom with no curtains. Since i travelled with my dad and we do not go often go tosleep at the same time it was either the one staing up had to be in the dark or the one going to sleep first had to sleep in the light. Some curtains at these bedroom/livingroom dividers can solve this problem I think.
Review 14:Isa is a nice place to stay in a nice town Tazacorte. There are two big supermarkets about just across the road. The free wifi was working very well, also in the room. There is a little swimming pool on a sunny roof terrace. We had side-sea-view from our balcony wich was very nice (unfortunatly no sun on the balcony). - Note that reception is closed on saterdays and sundays and not open after 15:00 on other days. Does not have to be a problem but it is not very clear and may give a bit of confusion if you still have to pay when leaving on saterday or sunday. Like one couple we saw - but they phoned and someone came to reception within 10 minutes so no problem although maybe better if this is communicated at check inn.
Review 15:Not enough warm bed covers for winter overnight temperature. Wifi only worked for one short period once in our two day stay. TV channels largely in German.
Review 16:Comfy beds, lovely view of the sea, great location; Tazacorte is lovely place. Kitchenette adequate.
Review 17:Apartments are functional, but not cosy, not inviting to stay there more than necessary.
Review 18:Good location, close to the center, fair price, friendly staff.
Review 19:Beautiful apartment with balcony and views directly over the sea and banana plantations. Pool on roof with again, beautiful views. Perfect location with very easy access to anything you might need. Extremely good value.
Review 20:heavy noise from the street in the daytime
Review 21:Price, view from terrace, roof-terrace, plenty of space, quiet at night
Review 22:Terasse Pool
Review 23:noise from the street
Review 24:View from the balcony
Review 25:Weather was brilliant loved Tazacorte , would go back .
Review 26:the balcony
Review 27:The location was a little noisy, mostly due to cars passing by, but there were no noises from clubs and such (as some comments say) during my April stay.
Review 28:I forgot a jacket when i checked out from my room. The cleaning personnel found it, and hotel management brought it to an address in Santa Cruz, on the other side of the island, where I was staying. Very kind of them.
Review 29:Traffic goes through a one way system passed the apartments. Bar opposite opens at stupid o'clock. Room wasn't cleaned in our six day stay.
Review 30:In town, good bus service to anywhere ,close to port where a good choice of eating places were. Apartment was basic but good value. Lovely sun roof and pool. Office staff very helpful with good English
Review 31:We would have appreciated more kitchen equipment, a kettle, sharp knife, cork screw and a grater. We arrived in the evening, after the office had closed, the man who let us in was prompt, but was unable to tell us where any restaurants were. We're found at least 3 the next day!!!
Review 32:Everything, apart from comments in the red box! The manager was really helpful.
Review 33:location at the very noice and frequently street
Review 34:+ good location in the center of a small and nice town + due to the very noice street we finished our stay three days early with understanding of the staff
Review 35:Reception closes at 3pm each day, and on a Friday (when the only Londonflight of the week arrives after that), it doesn't open again untilMonday morning. So if you have a problem - like we had no towels orsheets on the bed - it's not easy to get it sorted.
Review 36:Smashing balcony ocean view.- Worth the extra twenty Euros for the week.Pleasant atmosphere on that side of the apartments. Simple but nice.
Review 37:Not suitable for anyone who has trouble climbing stairs. Balcony didn't really get any sun so the flat was quite cool.
Review 38:It was cheap and quite spacious - the lighting was good. Nice view. For the money, it was fine as a base for a beach or walking holiday. A 20-minute walk downhill to the beach, but we didn't mind that.
Review 39:The first night we stayed in Isa I and only had 2 beds for 2 adults and2 children. Also there was no balcony and the apartments and courtyardopposite looked tired and depressing. However, we moved to Isa ii forthe rest of the holiday which are 100% better and Jose Luis was veryhelpful too.
Review 40:The price was good. It was within a five minute drive to the beach andthe beach is lovely. It's very central for most activities in La Palmaand a good base. The staff are courteous and friendly.
Review 41:I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I wanted some peace after a busy year and that is what I got. Beautiful view from the hotel and pleasant discreet management. I would definately like to return. As a single woman I also felt safe there. I loved the hotel and good location
Review 42:The balconies from the terasses are on the shady side, but there is a common roof terrace with a swimming pool. Being close to two cafe / bars, and being there with Christmas and the New Year, there was quite some street noise sometimes.
Review 43:The price / quality relation was excellent. The location is centrally on the west coast of the island, not fat away from the national park and the main road. For a budget price, we were lodged excellent, the kitchen equipment was basic, but enough. Tazacorte has still a Spanish look and feel.
