Review 1：Stunning hotel on a hill, great views! About a 10 minute walk downhill to beach front. Very quiet round hotel did not see many staff. Lovely breakfast in the hotel next door grand hotel suances. Beds not very comfy but adequate for 1 night stay, and only 30 minutes away from santander to get ferry back home.

Review 2：The confusion generated by marketing the place as two hotels separated by 200m in their descriptions, as this is not the case: they are on same area of land! Following location and facilities descriptions and how to find instructions, and finding overlapping information and photos between the two on-line entries wasted a lot of time. All that did not get resolved until we had been inside both buildings on arrival: Ah, they are SHARING the same dining area, pool, car park etc !!

Review 3：The hotel transferred us to the adjoining "Grand Suances Hotel" on arrival, presumably because of the large school party occupying "Suances Hotel". This meant that we did not have to walk between the two buildings for our meals! From what we saw, both "Hotels" were run as one and shared the car parks, outdoor areas and pool, as well as the basement dining area. We booked half-board and found it to be good value both for evening and breakfast. We believe it would have been 10% dearer to book the room in the Grand ourselves but it did seem larger to us. Both places rooms seemed to have access to a small standing area ("the balcony" in the description) outside most of the room windows, and there was "a view" to be had from all sides of building as it was on a small hill.

Review 4：It was quite cold in the hotel on some of the evenings until they put the heating on normally about 8pm,Breakfast was very good apart from the tea and coffee which tasted horrible. Dinner was very good with plenty of choice.We were lucky because Hotel had a coach load of French people on holiday during most of our week so dinner was served at 8pm and was excellent..

Review 5：nice big room and very comfortable single beds with the bedding changed often we stayed for six nights.good bathroom with soap shampoo etc provided each day plenty of hot water for shower and bath as long as you ran hot tap for few minutes before your shower or bath.
