Review 1：Very small uncomfortable room not resembling ANY of the photos we saw but that said it was standard and there are other much nicer rooms. Left after one night as I was very badly bitten by something that was not a mosquito

Review 3：Nice quiet location, but close to everything you could want. Super friendly staff throughout the hotel. The receptionist even went to the bother of typing up an English menu for us every night as we don't speak Spanish. Our second visit to this hotel and it won't be our last.
Review 4：We weren't that keen on Suances, very resort-y, although there were some nice restaurants and bars around. The hotel is away from the busy beach strip which is a blessing really although there isn't much around the actual hotel to do. (Except enjoy the hotel and it's pool/garden which was fine for us). We expected a lot from the dinner considering the quality of the rest of the hotel, but found the food rather average. But we had a good evening in the hotel's very nice restaurant anyway.
Review 5：Lovely welcoming, friendly, capable, informed and helpful staff. Tasteful quirky decor and very clean. They provided a good quality travel cot and even some fancy baby bed linen which was a nice extra touch making us feel very welcome traveling with a 7 month old. The communual areas were comfy and relaxed. We were made to feel very at home and enjoyed our stay a lot. It's only 15 minutes drive from the Altamira cave paintings museum.

Review 11：Excellent staffing. Efficient reception; booked in without difficulty. Rooms and decor in keeping with an 1820s building but well maintained. Rooms are a bit on the small side but still very comfortable and adequate for our needs.Well stocked bar and good value home cooked food. Restaurant and bar staff good humoured and made us feel welcome. There was a pool available which looked clean and not overlooked. A private car park just off the road. The hotel was sign posted from the road and located an easy distance from Suances for the coast, about 5-10 min drive. Santander also an easy drive for town or ferry.

Review 13：We love this Posada. It is our third stay there. The rooms are tastefully decorated with lots of individual design. The restaurant is splendid with excellent food and great service. The hotel is in lovely countryside and is very peaceful. Will definately be back.
Review 14：The only thing I would improve is try to get wifi coverage in the whole building, not only in the part over the bar.
Review 15：I stayed with my parents at Posada Santa Ana on the way to my wedding in Madrid. We were the only guests in the posada, as we took two nights just after un puente. This was no problem for the staff of the posada, they let us stay by ourselves at night. And we got a free upgrade to a much bigger room. Breakfast was very good. The flexibility of the staff, cleanliness of the rooms and beauty of the surrounding countryside makes me recommend this hotel.
