Reviews for Auberge Bourrelly
Review 1:- The lady at check out in the morning. - No AC in the rooms. - Breakfast - Not what I'd call a substantial meal, was a little sparse with little choice, especially as we had a long day ahead.
Review 2:Typical hotel from Provence, close to TGV station. Well placed, great terrace for evening dining excellent food, good selection of local wines nice staff very polite & helpful
Review 3:Beautiful quiet environment in which to attune to France, south of Provence & Avignon, located in a peaceful village 20 minutes from Marseille - a taste of what was to come.
Review 4:I was travelling alone. Whether I'd was because I was a woman by herself or because I had not 'dressed for dinner' I was invited to eat outside. I was the only person outside, it was barely warm enough and I got bitten to pieces by mosquitoes. The charge for dinner was omitted from my final bill. I pointed this out and was thanked at all for my honesty. On asking for directions It was suggested to me that I buy a map! I shan't be returning to this hotel.
Review 5:Very helpful! We were encountering a lot of outside issues and the staff was extremely helpful and patient - they went out of their way to help us
Review 6:needs better internet.

Review 11:Refrigerator didn't work and they didn't fix it or offer to swapit out for us. Best if you know how to speak French.
Review 12:Very unique and eccentric (in a good way)
Review 13:The mattress was old. Sagged to middle. It is France but when yourlocated in the south of France in 95 degree heat at 8pm, you should haveinvested in some kind of ac somewhere. Generally dated & working ---but not working right or as it should for 80e / nite ... the saggingmattress, the plugs, the shower controls, the clogged shower nozzle Ifixed, the lights by the bed ...
Review 14:It is in France. It is in the South of France. It is in the South of France in Provence. The hotel itself is very quaint, from a by gone era ... we like the atmosphere ... but ...
Review 15:The staff had limited english and so were not very helpful with suggestions for driving directions or places to visit. Might be better if you speak french.
Review 16:It is a beautiful old building and has a wonderful outside patio for meals and/or drinks. Terrific breakfast, probably the best ever in our Europe travels. Spacious room and the largest bath room I've seen in Europe. Near a small town, easy to locate, quiet. We arrived very late and dinner service was over but they served us a delicious dessert.
Review 17:Mine didn't. The waiter couldn't explain what "Pieds et Paquets" means. He only said that it was one of the most subtle dishes of Provence cuisine. I told him to surprise me and he did. It appeared to be lambs feet and bundles of tripe. I tried but I couldn't get it down...
Review 18:The restaurant was good. My wife's dish looked great.
Review 19:The hotel is comfortable, renovated rooms ,hospitable and good facilities. Set in beautiful gardens and surrounds. The owners are friendly and helpful.
Review 20:Staff were not friendly nor helpful. Distance from Aix was a problem. Breakfast was poor.

Review 22:Nothing.
Review 23:The secluded semi-rural setting. The family-run atmosphere. The cuisine.
