Reviews for Hotel Finca Ca N'ai - Adults Only

Review 1:Stunning location - so private and yet easily walk-able to both the town and the port of Soller. Our room was incredibly spacious, with a roof terrace that overlooked the whole grounds and the mountains. Breakfast was great - lots of choices and able to get scrambled eggs and a very good coffee.

Review 2:On arrival, we were greeted by very friendly staff who made us feel extremely welcome. After check-in, we were given complimentary drinks on the terrace in the lovely Autumn sunshine which was a lovely touch & very welcome. The Finca is amazing as are the grounds & the rooms are beautifully decorated, enormous & have extremely comfortable beds. The views from our room were idyllic, overlooking the grounds with the stunning Tramantana mountains in the background. We had dinner in the restaurant a couple of nights & enjoyed lovely home cooked food, accompanied by some superb wine from the extensive wine list. Breakfast was plentiful, again a huge choice of various foods which were beautifully presented & freshly cooked to order. The Finca is ideally located between Soller & the port with plenty of walks to choose from of varying distances to suit everyone, taking you in all directions. We will definitely be returning for another holiday in this very tastefully renovated, unspoilt Finca, in it's own little oasis.

Review 3:We loved the peace and tranquility of this unique hotel. Fantastic room. Within walking distance to Port de Soller and Soller town. Also tram stop closeby if needed. Loved it!

Review 4:- mattress very soft and bed very warm

Review 5:- wonderful room, great atmosphere, the whole finca is beautiful, the staff very kind, happy to help - wonderful breakfast buffet and restaurant - great starting point for hiking

Review 6:Focus on German visitors. Maybe a British channel or two on the TV would be good!

Review 7:Beautiful and peaceful location. Easy to link with the many walking routes. Good food and reasonable prices if you didn't want to make trip into town in the evenings.

Review 8:Difficult to find the hotel and no directions or map available on booking.com or hotel website. Room was in separate building and lacked basic amenities such as a kettle to make hot drinks. Given the 250m hike to the main hotel building we requested a kettle which was supplied but was broken and to add insult to injury we were charged 2 euros per tea bag! A certain underlying arrogance was apparent. Expected better given premium room rates. Apparently family business established over 25 years. Maybe a little complacency setting in?

Review 9:Good rural location in foothills of mountains. Good views for patio. Seemed to be geared to German visitors. Very spacious room but idiosyncratic layout.

Review 10:Nothing. For us not a problem, but do realize the hotel is not close to the village and the beach. A car is necessary.

Review 11:Our room (no. 1) was excellent. Very spacious, large bathroom and our own terrace. The staff is excellent. They make you feel at home. Nice pool.

Review 12:Everything!!! Best of all the spacious rooms and amazing grounds. The management is amazing and extremely helpful. The attention to detail is perfect.

Review 13:Great location, spacious rooms, Finca-feeling with modern comfort. Nice 30 minute hike to Port Soller (restaurant es Paseig), 30 min hike to restaurant Bens d'Avall, helicopter landing spot on the ground (Balearic helicopters)

Review 14:WIFI only available in main area. A bit too far out of either Soller town or Puerto Soller to walk comfortably in the heat. Would not have a problem walking into the port in cooler weather but in almost 40 degrees alongside a busy road it was too much. The tram stops at the back of the estate which is handy but you do have to pay each time you want to get anywhere

Review 15:Beautiful buildings and grounds. Plenty of sunbeds around pool and no German towels out reserving beds!! Peaceful-no children under 16. Tram stop at back of the estate. Fabulous evening meals on the 2 nights we ate there.

Review 16:Music played at dinner on some nights Wifi only worked at main building

Review 17:Amazing pool Lovely outside restaurant area Friendly and helpful staff Great location - in mountains but 20 minutes from beach

Review 18:nothing bad, but perhaps the food in the evenings could be a bit more varied and a higher quality to reflect the beautiful terrace area. The natural orange juice was wonderful.

Review 19:The pool surrounded by shady trees and hammocks was beautiful and much bigger than photos suggest. In June hardly anyone swimming there. Ambience of whole place is very calm and relaxing.

Review 20:No tea or coffee making facilities in room. This may be because tap water is not considered safe to drink, but surely drinking water could have been provided in a cooler

Review 21:The hotel is well-appointed and in a pleasant rural setting. The rooms have stunning views from their terraces across Soller to the Sierra Tramuntana.

Review 22:Nothing

Review 23:The property was well maintained; the room was large with a large terrace and sunbeds/chairs. The dinners served were good and the wines excellent and reasonably priced.

Review 24:Wifi not available in rooms, but OK in public areas.

Review 25:Fabulous views directly from hotel. Spacious suite with fridge and very comfy big bed. Spotlessly clean, especially linens and towels. Easy access(20 mins walk) to Soller town or the Port and beach. Great location for walks in Tramuntantas. All the staff were delightful.

Review 26:The suite that we stayed in, the staff, the restaurant ambiance and food, and the location were all fantastic. Easy access to mountain walks and hikes or a great place just to stay and relax.

Review 27:From the description we had we expected the restaurant to be open in the evening. On arrival we were informed that it was closed - very disappointing particularly as there are few other places to eat in November. Anyway, after 2 days it was decided to reopen for dinner.

Review 28:Everything apart from next box.

Review 29:nothing at all!

Review 30:without a dought, one of the best places we ever stayed in. the pictures do not do it justice, it is even more beautiful than it seems.

Review 31:We had a great time. It is a charming place for people looking for peace and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. We had everything we needed: beatiful views, tasty food, a comfortable apartment with a terrace, an oryginal swimming pool (in a Roman baths style), green terains with orange trees. We would like to come back there in the future.

Review 32:This is not a criticism, but if you are not staying in main hotel you need flat shoes to walk to the fincas in the grounds as they are gravel tracks which are fine if you know what to expect.

Review 33:Very friendly staff, will come again

Review 34:The position of the bed in our room (in a junior suite, they are all laid out differently, so this could be the only one this happens to) meant that we could hear anything happening outside our door. Not too big a deal given not much happened outside our door, but occasionally we did find it a tad annoying.

Review 35:A beautiful place on beautiful grounds. The staff were so lovely and the food superb. We were traveling with our 18 month old daughter, and even she seemed to relax and unwind. Loved the decor in our room and throughout the property. The gardens were beautiful and rustic. The pool was amazing. I really enjoyed our stay here, and hope we can come back again.

Review 36:Wi-Fi only in restaurant To many things not working or fixed i.e. more than 10 (spot)lights did not work in the room. Mostly for Germans Bed was of low quality

Review 37:Very large and spacy rooms Rooms spread out over a large area Calm atmosphere Laid back service

Review 38:Fantastic peaceful location, lovely suite amazing breakfasts and friendly helpful staff. Will definitely go back.

Review 39:Fabulous place .

Review 40:Very personal and good service. Spectacular room!

Review 41:We chose this hotel mainly because of photos, but it was twice as beautiful!

Review 42:No wifi access in room and limited choice for breakfast

Review 43:Location was very nice, dinner was lovely, staff friendly

Review 44:Room and all areas beautifully and traditionally decorated. Very friendly staff. Proximity to tram stop a great advantage for outings.

Review 45:Everything was perfect.

Review 46:It's quiet, beatiful, surrounded by nature. Junior suite was so nice!

Review 47:The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Good food and an ecellent choice of wines.

Review 48:Music at mealtimes particularly breakfast. Such a rural, picturesque setting - for me the music felt intrusive.

Review 49:Beautiful setting

Review 50:Fabulous setting. Great unassuming service.

Review 51:Limited Wi-Fi

Review 52:Everything was perfect

Review 53:Nothing, it was a perfect holiday!

Review 54:Set in a beautiful location nestled in the hills between Port Soller and Soller town, Finca Ca N'ai is a true gem. We had a beautiful large room, with a private garden filled laden orange trees - the most delicious oranges I have ever eaten! The staff were very accommodating - we were travelling with our one year old and they made her a little dinner and some ice cream every night. The pool was perfect too, even the sun beds were amazing - almost like a double hammock! We travelled out the back of the grounds to the tram which took us to either Port Soller or Soller town in no time at all. It was a very pleasant way to travel. The food at Finca was very good too. We thought it was delicious and great value. The wine list is also very good. I can't wait to stay here again!

Review 55:1. the breakfast was a little poor considering the price of the accommodation (fruit selection, bread) 2. the noise of the frogs at night

Review 56:1.the privacy 2. the peacefulness 3. the good service

Review 57:The ideal place for complete relaxation! We live on Mallorca so didn't really want to explore, just wanted to chill and it was just perfect, the setting is simply stunning and I think it's going to get bigger and better! There is so much potential, they have kept it in keeping with it's style! Very very nice indeed! Ideal for a wedding, not sure if they offer that yet though!

Review 58:Parts of the site are derelict and uncared-for, e.g an incomplete new accommodation block crammed with broken furniture and building materials; the swimming-pool needs refurbishment; staff service was a bit off-hand.

Review 59:Very comfortable rooms and beds, good maid-service. Pleasant terrace for breakfast. Some parts of the site well laid out with orange-groves etc.

Review 60:During torrential rains water started to drip down on three spots in our room

Review 61:Very flexible check-out Long breakfast hours

Review 62:Shower could have worked better.

Review 63:Lovely breakfast out on a terrace with fantastic views. Delicious house wine.
