Reviews for Parador de Puebla de Sanabria
Review 1:A welcoming and wonderful town. The room was immaculate with views towards the hill top town, which was only a short walk away, we had a late lunch and dinner in the restaurant the menu was good. We parked our motorbike in the hotel car park. We were offered secure parking but the car park itself was just the job. The town itself had interesting places to visit including the castle. ,We managed to while away anow hour or so in the Cideria which gave us a taste of the local brew. All was good.
Review 2:Being picky the one of the lights in the bathroom was blinking on/off and housekeeping should have noticed. Room furniture a bit oldie worldie considering the hotel is furnished fairly modern throughout.
Review 3:Staff helpful.b room very spacious and very clean. Views over the castle and countryside are lovely. Huge bathroom. Plenty of wardrobe space with a safe and mini bar (although we didn't use). Room service was fine but the language barrier caused a mix up with our order but was soon rectified. Undercover parking is free. Free wifi in room.
Review 4:The breakfast, whilst lovely, is super expensive! We chose to eat elsewhere most days for a few euro each.
Review 5:Lovely hotel, simple charms, lovely pool. Very quiet little place.

Review 18:We were a little disappointed to find the pool closed but in common withother Spanish Paradors pool season starts 1st June. We were treated towonderful views of Puebla de Sanabria from our room and the ambience ofthe hotel was restful, relaxing and of high quality. The staff excelledthemselves and exceeded our expectations. We only stayed for one nightbut we had a lovely stay.
Review 19:We had great difficulty translating the menu, even the " English "version, but that`s not too unusual. Staff tried to help but they haddifficulty as well, and the portions were rather large.
Review 20:A very comfortable, modern and clean Parador. Good facilities butunfortunately couldn`t make use of the outside pool which was closedbecause it was out of season I.E. it was too cold! We only used it as astopover but would certainly visit again if we were in the area. One ofthe best Paradors we stayed in.The town has a some touristy shops in walking distance and the castle is imposing and is floodlit at night.
