Metsola Apartmentos Rurales are in the beautiful Roncal Valley, high in the Spanish Pyrenees. These modern apartments offer flat-screen TVs, DVD players and free Wi-Fi.
The Metsola Rural Apartments are built using natural stone and wood. They are in the mountain village of Isaba, just a short drive from the border with France.
Each Metsola apartment has a comfortable lounge and a full-equipped kitchen. Apartments are heated and have lift access. High chairs, cots and baby carriers can be provided free of charge, on request.
The apartments have a peaceful mountain setting, ideal for walking. The beautiful Irati forest is nearby, and property staff can give advice for the best birdwatching spots. Guests have free access to the local swimming pool and its facilities, which include a covered, heated pool, a Finnish Sauna, hot tubs and gym.
Free private parking for motorbikes is available. The A137 road gives good access to Pamplona, with free public parking nearby.

Review 1：Difficult to find food/dining in the village. Business owners don't stick to their own posted hours. You would do well to bring meal options with you before entering the town, in our case, in the winter and after dark (post 6:00 pm).

Review 2：Terrific hotel owner. Quite helpful. A hidden modern, euro-lux gem hidden in the surrounding village and an exceptional value. Loved the stay.

Review 3：No breakfast and people apart from Julien were not friendly. There was only one place to eat in town and it was closed. We ended up at the bar with the kids but the food was great. Kids enjoyed the pizza and veal burgers.

Review 4：Beautiful clean modern apartment that kept the architecture of the town.Julien was nice and very helpful. The town is quite and very walkable.

Review 5：The shower floods into the bathroom but fortunately a mop is provided.

Review 6：Julen was helpful sharing his extensive knowledge of local bird watching sites. The apartment is quite small but modern, warm and well equipped. Isaba is a labyrinth of narrow alleyways in a valley surrounded by mountains with plenty of restaurants and bars, though some were closed in October. Basic shops, wonderful scenery.

Review 7：Jolen,the owner, provided us with a lot of info's on our next day hike. He also upgraded us without even asking. His top floor attic apartment provides superb views over the village. He also gave us extra time the next day in order to check-out after our hike completion. Super host, customer caring and very welcoming and accommodating guy !!! The escalator was a big plus when you have plenty of luggage like us. Very clean environment. Very modern and well and tasty furnished apartment.

Review 8：The town itself was beautiful, but unfortunately all the bars and places to eat were closed.

Review 10：Had an attic room & whilst architecturally interesting there was only the thickness of tongue& grove boards between us & the next door & we could hear every word, cough etc from next door So stay but don't book an attic room!!!!

Review 12：We were in the 1 bedroom penthouse apartment and the soundproofing from the adjoining apartment is extremely poor. We could hear everything and endend up having to move the mattress into the living room to sleep. There is even a window in the bedroom into the neighbouring apartments bathroom (there is a blind however). This was a terrible night and would not recommend the penthouse apartment due to the noise factor.

Review 15：Located in a pretty village and a new build with all the facilities one could need. Julien was an exceptional host and also a bird guide who took us to watch the raptor migration over the French border. Nothing was too much trouble.

Review 16：Did not like very much the access roads and streets of the village but understand the restrictions of the nature and traditions.

Review 17：Promptly attention of the owners, cleanliness and location of the Hotel into the village and MTB / walking routes at the surroundings.

Review 18：We had a problem with the restaurants - they all had a three course menu for a fixed price and we did not want so much. None of them would do less, but eventually we found a restaurant a bit out of the way and they were great and we had a lovely meal.

Review 29：Our stay at Metsola Apartamentos Rurales was exceptional. The room was large and very well put together. Julian, the manager, was extremely kind and he catered to our every need. I would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back the next time we travel through Isaba. We have two young children and they had a baby carrier for us to hike with and they had a baby cot, high chair, etc. It was a wonderful place to stay and was in a central location with great hikes closeby.

Review 32：Good village location - access to walking, cycling, mountains. Restaurants and basic shopping in village. Modern, simply furnished and very clean apartment. Very helpful, friendly owner and staff (with English knowledge). No car parking on site, but the village car park is well used and not very far away (although route includes slopes / steps / cobbles). A positive for us was being able to store our bikes in the apartment. Block has a lift and temporary access is fine by car for unloading / loading - with the owner's help if needed.

He took us on a guided trip around the area which was superb-can't recommend enough.
