Reviews for Hotel Panorama

Review 1:Restaurant staff could have been more pleasant That payment was taken when I booked - several weeks before my stay

Review 2:Superb views over vineyards from the room Excellent breakfast

Review 3:Sadly, the hotel restaurant was fully booked, but the hotel staff were very helpful in advising us of good restaurants in the centre. We wish we had had more time in Beaune.

Review 4:Comfortable, good-size room with very beautiful view of the vineyard. Good location, within walking distance of Beaune centre; a fascinating city.

Review 5:There was no receptioner in reception until 7:45 AM or later. I asked revised invoice but nobody cannot support. They said just wait for manager who is receptioner. They said they will send revised one but there were many mistake. I could not take dinner because of too much guest. They must manage time for all.

Review 6:The hotel/motel looks a little outdated on the outside but the rooms are comfortable. The reception area looks perfect so I think the hotel will be kept in shape.

Review 7:We liked the fact that you can drive up to the front of your hotelroom. This comes in handy when you travel with a lot of luggage and a baby. This way there is no need to carry all you luggage to your room through your hotel. The view from your hotelroom across the vineyard right in front of your window is great. The rooms are quite spacious.

Review 8:The only thing which was a negative was it was a bit old and run down. In saying that it was still clean.

Review 9:The view from our window was the vinyards. Gorgeous view! The bed was Comfortabe. good location.. maybe a 20 min walk into Beaune. Friendly staff and breakfast was good. Good wifi & small fridge in the room.staff were also friendly and spoke basic english.

Review 10:Only had one night, wished we had stayed longer.

Review 11:Stunning location set within the vineyards, extremely warm welcome from the receptionist and great service. The restaurant was very good for evening meal and the buffet breakfast had a good variety of options. The bar area and lounge is extremely well kept with plenty of space. There is a pool but we didn't have time to use it unfortunately. Family room was spacious, has much needed aircon and even had a fridge.

Review 12:Overpriced. I complained about my main course at dinner, but nothing was done about it. Perhaps should have been more forceful. Breakfast a bit of a bun-fight.

Review 13:OK accommodation but overpriced for what it was. Booked hotel because couldn't get into the one we wanted. The view over the vineyards was pleasant.

Review 14:The room felt a little dirty. The walls had quite a few dead bugs\flies smeared on them, and as well we're pretty dusty. I feel like this could have easily been fixed and may have given us a better impression.

Review 15:It was a good base for exploring the region by car but it was a 20 min walk into the centre. Nice view overlooking the vineyards. The air conditioner was nice. Our room was very quiet with a comfortable bed.

Review 16:- Room was a bit old fashioned; - Would have been nice if there were some seats outside

Review 17:- Polite staff - Nice room - Good location in case you are passing through

Review 18:Opened the window and could virtually pick the grapes from the vines. Air con, fabulous restaurant, secure parking, easy to find, clean as a whistle and on the route de grand cru.

Review 19:It was all good.

Review 20:It felt like an oasis after a long, hot journey: we arrived at 9.00pm and despite the restaurant being very full with a large reunion function, they fitted us in with no prior booking and were really accommodating (despite our post-camping holiday shabbiness). The meal was excellent and the wine was, as you would expect, delicious! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back.

Review 21:Pool area graffitied and unclean. Rooms adequate. Breakfast adequate. Disappointing overall.

Review 22:Located short walk from town centre. Easily accessible from motorway.

Review 23:The rooms are really small and only suitable for an overnight sleep. The restaurant and bar is extremely overpriced-try to avoid it.

Review 24:This property is spread out in an area just a couple of kilometres from Beaunne's historic centre. Our room had direct access to the courtyard which made it very convenient for our dog. There is also a pool which although needs to be better maintained was nice for children.

Review 25:There is no kettle. fridge doesn't work properly. I ask the front office to do something about it? they didn't !

Review 26:I like the vineyard view from the room. Its good to have AC in July so there was a little AC. Wi Fe was excellent !

Review 27:The hotel has been renovated to a good standard, with nice colours. More importantly, it is very clean. It was very hot (34*C) during our stay and we enjoyed the pool and the air conditionned room. We slept very well, in good beds. Breakfast was buffet-style and presented variety. It is a well-known stop-over by many when driving south for vacation and we get good value for the money.

Review 28:Disposable cuttlery and bowls for breakfast. Poor quality of food preparation. The place could be better maintained. Outdated infrastructures. Poor state of the pool table and baby-foot.

Review 29:Great location surrounded by vines. Good access and parking facilities. Swimming-pool. Games/reading room.

Review 30:Nothing really. It didn't impress much, but it was great value and there were no negatives during our stay.

Review 31:Spacious, clean, convenient. Great view from our room on the vineyards below.

Review 32:Unfortunately, breakfast was not within our expectations. Empty plates were not filled up within a reasonable time and offering was not adequate in our opinion for EUR 12 p. Person

Review 33:Car can be parked near by room in respective bungalow; area is nice next to the vineyards; staff is English speaking and friendly; overall comfortable room

Review 34:The local wine from the bar was over priced

Review 35:The hotel is conveniently located with a short walk into the centre of Beaune among beautiful vines. The room was comfortable and quiet and the pool was very welcome in the heat! Staff were helpful & parking was free on site. Internet was very good.

Review 36:A few niggles! Wine not put in chiller on the table even though it was about 30C outside. Wooden cutlery at breakfast.

Review 37:Comfortable spacious room with lovely views over the vineyards. The pool. Good restaurant. Very convenient beautiful spot if travelling through France. Very quiet and peaceful.

Review 38:Rooms need to be updated to match reception

Review 39:Refurbished reception. Amazing breakfast. Tasteful decor. Can leave your car outside your room so very safe

Review 40:Reception/restaurant is separate to rooms which are some re-furbed prefab buildings next door - nice but strange. Evening meal pricey. My wife's chicken not cooked properly and raw in the middle. It's fine to eat undercooked beef and pork but not chicken guys. Waitress saw me closely examining the chicken my wife had left but just took it away with no further action - very poor.

Review 41:Location is beautiful - the town is fantastic and surrounding countryside is beautiful. Hotel is modern - looks new. Room was modern and comfortable. Restaurant was very nice with beautiful view of the tremendous countryside, vineyards and all. Convenient parking on site. wi-fi v good.

Review 42:Everything but the view. Our room wasn't clean. I hadn't seen shag carpet like that since the 70"s They had a pool table but the pool cues had no tips. Everything about this hotel but the view was substandard.

Review 43:The view was pretty, but did NOT make up for the poor facility!

Review 44:Accessibility! We had a problem reaching here from the train station until someone gave us a lift. On arrival at check in I asked for taxi numbers to be told that I only need to request one from reception and that one would be there... Our room was damp, smelly and dingy. The air conditioning didn't work. There was mould in the bathroom. Two coffees from a machine in reception cost 10 Euros - more than anywhere else in our travels throughout France.

Review 45:The reception area is lovely. The outlook from the Hotel Panorama is mostly of beautiful countryside.

Review 46:All good

Review 47:location is fantastic 20 minute walk to the centre Great location to base yourself to see the area They are refurbishing the pool area so will be better again when finished

Review 48:Nice in the vineyard & quiet

Review 49:Location right in the middle of vineyard fields

Review 50:Nothing!

Review 51:Just out of town, very quite and lovely views over the neighbouring vineyards but only 15 minutes walk from the centre.

Review 52:Nothing

Review 53:Location and price.

Review 54:The city tax should be included in the price

Review 55:Nice modern motel type accommodation

Review 56:The staff

Review 57:Pool, location and size of family rooms

Review 58:The staff were very friendly and professional. The hotel is only a 15 minute walk from city centre.

Review 59:The location

Review 60:no info in bedroom of how to ring reception- easy to put a card of no on phone

Review 61:good location - easy parking quiet

Review 62:The air con wasn't very good.

Review 63:Ideal location for stop over to South of France Evening meal looked amazing - but not with a fussy 13 year old.

Review 64:excellent restaurant with beautiful patio area, very friendly staff

Review 65:The view from the bedroom & friendly staff.

Review 66:The restaurant did nog serve french fries for the kids. Onlytagliatelle.

Review 67:The bed, the friendly staf.

Review 68:Small room, poor wifi, breakfast was a circus.

Review 69:Convenient location. Outlook over vines was superb.

Review 70:Location, car parking, WiFi and size of room.

Review 71:No kettle in room

Review 72:Lovely terrace and resturant, 15 min walk of town

Review 73:Parking included; rooms very accessible. Proximity to city. Lovely views from everywhere on property. Price very reasonable. Felt safe. How

Review 74:Firmer pillows would be nice.

Review 75:The panoramic views & the wonderful restaurant, with professional, friendly staff.

Review 76:Lovely helpful staff, fabulous restaurant and bar. Rooms very quiet and comfortable.

Review 77:The bathroom is a bit old and would need to be renewed

Review 78:Staff, Restaurant, breakfast, parking in front of the room

Review 79:Breakfast was a little pricey at €12 pp

Review 80:Great job of refurbishment and a great breakfast..

Review 81:15-minutes walk from the city centre.. Regarding the restaurant, it would be much better if they have a bit more reasonable wine on the list.

Review 82:The room was comfortable. The restaurant was also good.

Review 83:Bathroom clean and usable, but no ventilation. No Screens on windows.

Review 84:Great Location to Beaune, Easy Access. Great dinner available. Pool (very clean) but the weather was too cold. Very friendly staff. Beautiful room overlooking a vineyard.

Review 85:Very expensive restaurant with few choices. Very expensive wine list with few choices. Problems with toilet cistern not shutting off, requiring help from staff.

Review 86:Easy parking near unit. Comfortable beds.

Review 87:Not really an hotel, more an American motel. Ample parking when you reached your room but quite a bottle neck at the entrance. Short drive into Beaune where parking can be difficult.

Review 88:Very quiet location with views over the vines.

Review 89:No spare toilet rolls, seem trivial but very important.

Review 90:The location. The hotel backs onto vineyards. It is easy to get to. The pool is great. Baeune is gorgeous.

Review 91:The rooms are a little tired and could do with an uplift. Small thingssuch as the towel rail hanging off the wall and the toilet seat fallingoff and not being repaired despite the chambermaids aware of theproblems. The charge for breakfast too pricey at 12 euros.

Review 92:Hotel arranged in motel style with the rooms separated with parking forvehicles very close with pleasant chalet style rooms all with excellentviews of vineyards. A clean swimming pool and lounge area. Free pooltable in the reception.

Review 93:the DIY was dodgy! It reminded me of my ex-husbands!!

Review 94:The room was large, with a fantastic view of a vineyard. The pool and terrace was gorgeous, just what you need when faced with a long journey!

Review 95:I expected great view of wineyard in the middle of wineyard. Literally, this hotel located in the middle of wine yard but small window and other construction obstacle disturbed scenery. I think opposite side 2story accomodation have better view. If you want to stay this hotel, youd better request 2nd floor room.

Review 96:This hotel has small but cozy swimming pool. It was very enjoyable ti play with my young kids.

Review 97:Rooms very tired Bathrooms in need of updates Rooms was a superior room, but couldn't see why Didn't like the fact we paid full price for the room, had we not pre-booked, we wouldn't have stayed at this hotel.

Review 98:Room was clean

Review 99:Old carpets on the floor. You can see that they are busy renivating the place. So some areas are nice like the bathrooms and breakfast place but the rooms and beds are old and well used.

Review 100:Clean bathroom and nice breakfast

Review 101:Nice staff, simple but good accommodation and an excellent restaurant.Good as a stopover going south, we did not stay in the area. Easy parking. breakfast pleasant but quite expensive.

Review 102:Location - the road to the vineyards or into town was a dreary industrial affair. Our sightseeing requirements of car garages, showrooms, and petrol stations have been satisfied for years. Internet not working for 5 days and staff absolutely not interested in providing help. Instead a Gallic shrug was provides with the comment "It works on mine". Not very useful since we weren't allowed to use his... Only narrow stairs and no lift to 1st floor rooms Dining room far too small for size of the motel

Review 103:Efficient check-in and out Clean room and bathroom Nice views Quiet (set back from road) Well maintained outdoor pool Good breakfast selection

Review 104:This is not really a hotel, it is a motel. We had a superior room which was very disappointing. I have stayed in much better motels for far less money

Review 105:Staff were helpful. Good location to visit Beaune. Pool facility.

Review 106:Wireless did not work while we were there and the hotel was unable to resolve the issue.

Review 107:Excellent staff provided marvelous dinner recommendations and even made the reservation for us!

Review 108:Rooms need some tender love, fresh paint, new entree carpet, new towels and better wifi connection. Screens on the windows would be nice so the fresh air from the vineyard could come in without the bugs.

Review 109:The service, friendliness, food, location...easy walk into town yet you are in the middle of a vi yard.

Review 110:Value for money, i found a bit expensive all hotels in this region

Review 111:Clean, friendly stuff, amazing view. I reccomend to rent a bicycle and go around the vineyard with it

Review 112:The place was tired and in need of a makeover. The pool was only cleaned after we requested it to be cleaned. External trash bins were overflowing before being emptied. Management seemed to lack enthusiasm.

Review 113:Comfortable room in a lovely vineyard setting.

Review 114:Restaurant average in quality but quite expensive. Hotel looking a bit tired - could do with improvement.

Review 115:Location - good for overnight stop. Motel style means easy access for car and luggage. Free WiFi in rooms.

Review 116:a little bit too far from the city center. We need at least 20 minutes to walk there.

Review 117:we booked the triple room and got upgraded. The room is very nice and big. :)) with nice view too. Breakfast is also good quality. It is also a prefect hotel for us, since we only use it for stop over 1 night. we can park our car in front our room.

Review 118:On our arrival we found that we had been upgraded to a superior room ,which was a lovely surprise. The room was very spacious and had a great view of the vineyards and countryside beyond.Hotel also has a great restaurant. Also very good location.

Review 119:Whilst the reception , lounge and restaurant were good all the rooms were remote from them and effectively it was a motel rather than a hotel - so it was necessary to walk out in the open to the breakfast room and the restuarant.

Review 120:Good food and ok room.

Review 121:The hotel was great, especially the location an the Burgundian vineyardsview! The staff was nice and courteous. Although the reception deskclosed at 22, a person arrived just in 5 minutes when we locked our keysin the room at 1 am!

Review 122:Room smelled of smoke even though it was a non smoking room. Decor was poor, including mould around the window. I stayed one night but would have asked to move rooms had I been staying any longer.

Review 123:Staff were excellent. Helpful and friendly. Room was clean, sheets towels and bedlinens were fine. Bathroom was good.

Review 124:Hotel Panorama is situated just outside of the main town ( about 5minutes by car). This meant that parking the car was not a problem. Itis located on the the same stretch of road that takes you through themajor vineyards.

Review 125:No Tea/Coffee making facilities in the rooms. I know this is not the Continental way, but us Brits like a brew first thing in the morning before we get ready to go for breakfast.

Review 126:This is a motel styled hotel just to the south of Beaune, less than 10 mins from the centre on the road to Pommard and as it is set in the countryside dedicated to wine growing it is no surprise that, as all rooms are on the ground floor, you can open the window and almost touch the grapes growing all around as far as you can see. This hotel could only be called "Panorama"! Our evening meal was superb and we had a bottle of the house wine, made from the very vines outside our window. Breakfast is a buffet and I had excellent scrambled eggs and sausage as well as the obligatory croissant on the terrace amongst the vines. This hotel is central to all the Vins de Bourgogne so if you like good wine give it a try.

Review 127:I went first in room # 51, first floor on a separated building, the WiFiwas working outside the room to the doar, inside there was noconnection. Moreover the room stunk like mould. I asked to change theroom and they gave me room # 45, ground floor, connection working butmould stinky, dirty and noisy - I could hear the guest next door at thetoilet! Really one of the worse hotel in my life.

Review 128:The location and the view are ok.

Review 129:The food in the restaurant was not very good.

Review 130:Room was very clean with lovely views over the vineyards. Free Internet access. Swimming Pool. Good buffet breakfast

Review 131:Great location and very convenient . Very comfortable rooms, nicely appointed. Great value breakfast and wonderful evening meals. Staff very helpful.
