Run by a British family, Chalet Charlotte offers Free Wi-Fi, an infrared sauna, games room with pool table and a large garden with views of the Grossglockner Mountain. The free ski bus to Zell am See – Kaprun resorts stops 100 feet away.
Renovated in 2011, all non-smoking rooms here have a private shower and washbasin. Some rooms have a shared toilet. Each room has a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a DVD player and an iPod docking station. A hairdryer is also provided in all rooms. Most rooms have a balcony.
Located in Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße, Chalet Charlotte is situated just off the Grossglockner High Alpine Road and is 8.1 miles south of Zell am See. Beginner ski slopes are just 1,650 feet away and the chalet offers free toboggans.
Free tea and coffee making facilities are available throughout the day. Breakfast is served from 7:30 until 9:30 at a communal table in the breakfast room.
In the lounge room, guests can watch TV or make use of the board games while warming up by the traditional wood-burning stove. There is also a library on site.
A spacious private parking area, with undercover spaces for motorcycles, is available at the chalet. Upon request free baby facilities including high chairs and baths can be provided.

Review 1：Chalet "Charlotte" is perfect for an overnight stop on "Grossglockner Hochalplenstrasse" - staying in a private atmosphere. Very friendly owners take care about Your well-being. Don't miss the comprehensive breakfast.

Review 2：I had a shared toilet but not a problem as I knew that was a possibility going in.

Review 3：The owners greeted me as I pulled in the drive even though they had been working in the garden and took time to speak with me. Location is very close to Großglockner's High Alpine Road and owners gave money saving tips on ticket and local advice.

Review 4：We liked the landlady, she is a friendly, sweet, helpful woman. It is impossible to have a dull moment at this place: in case of bad weather you can go downstairs, where you can enjoy the steam or play varoius boardgames, billiard or on PS absolutely free of charge. Breakfast was delicious: big portions, nicely set table, kind smile on the landlady's face you can't look for more.

What was outsanding: 1) the owners were super friendly 2)we liked a lot the 2 common rooms: you can have a coffee, take a small rest on the sofa watching tv, there is biliard, sauna, toys for kids, etc. For a small place like that this is something! 3) Breakfast was nice also.

Review 6：From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we were made to feel at home. There is a large kitchen and living room that we were able to use - a wonderful B&B in a lovely part of Austria - about 5klms from the start of the Grossglockner Alpine Way. Great value for money.

Review 7：We stayed there on our way to Croatia just for one night because we wanted to see Grossglockner and after long trip from Poland it was a perfect choice to rest and relax, really close to our next destination. The place was very homey and peaceful. We were free to use the kitchen and make us some tea when we arrived. We would also recommend having breakfast there. The choice was great.

Review 8：The room needed a better fan in the bathroom and a light in the shower (it was very dark). We came during the summer and the A/C was central air which was not set a cool enough temp for my liking, having a medium sized fan in the room would have been nice.

Review 9：I cannot say enough about how completely fabulous this place is. The host is warm and welcoming and makes you feel special. She is also very knowledgeable and has some wonderful suggestions on what to do in the area. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was perfect!!! So many choices and all of them yummy. Plenty of easy parking. An absolute delight.
