Reviews for Résidence La Loggia

Review 1:WiFi worked but was a bit weak on floor 2

Review 2:Location is excellent, apartment was spacious and clean. Hotel facilities across the road (only used the pool) were good and the staff very friendly and helpful. Cot and highchair provided for baby daughter and bed big enough for us and 5 year old son, so didn't bother with the pull out bed. Shops, supermarket and eating places all very close by, free parking a couple of streets away.

Review 3:Bed is actually a pull out couch. Problems with the wifi codes. TV was fuzzy all the time. Noisy due to seagulls and people on the street below! Fridge want turned on for my arrival and it was super hot.

Review 4:Good location in the centre of Deauville. Nice bathroom and shower. Super friendly staff. Short walk to the beach.

Review 5:The pool was lovely - an absolute bonus for entertaining my 3 young children after a busy day out and about. The location of the apartment was excellent - central, 5 minutes to the beach and all the fabulous beach-side activities.

Review 6:The apartment was smaller than I had expected and the pull out bed was not comfortable. The floor was very dirty and I had to keep cleaning it as my baby's feet and hands were getting dirty from it. She also found a peice of broken glass. I felt that the floor being cleaned should have been part of the cleaning service. I had also asked for the cleaner to come every day and she only came every 2 Nd day.

Review 7:The pool was lovely as was the breakfast

Review 8:Terrible tobacco and cigarettes smell in the bathroom, and in spite of the spays by the staff, it lasted at least three days before it became bearable. Actually they do not have any " smoking" or " non smoking" policy in the buiding. I believe they should state it on the web site - poor noise insulation between the rooms - Once you open the queen sofa bed, as you do not want to fold it every morning, there is not much space left around.

Review 9:Staff was nice and trying to help. Location is excellent Kitchen corner had apparently everything needed although I did not use it. A/C was good and easy to use

Review 10:The ever present smell of stale cigarette smoke, it had even pervaded the bed linen.... left the main window open all week but still it remained

Review 11:Position ideal both for town, racing & horse sales. View from 5th floor window.

Review 12:The bed on the room was good but the extra bed and the sofa for the other 2 people weren't that confortable.

Review 13:The location is absolutely great, 2 minutes walking to the beach and in the middle of the shops area. The 4 people apartment was very nice, views to the street and all equiped for cooking. The price (199€) is a little expensive but hotels in France could be crazy expensive but also bad quality at the same time, this one was at least very nice and convenient.

Review 14:When you check in you are given an extensive list of items included in the room that you have to sign for or be held accountable. They have you count everything from the silverware to the pictures on the wall. Very annoying and unnecessary.

Review 15:Our room was very clean and the location was wonderful. The room we had was large enough for three adults to spread out and not feel crowded.

Review 16:A washing machine in the building would be good Lack of English TV channels

Review 17:Very close to beach and town centre Cooking facilities

Review 18:Could probably do with a bit of an update

Review 19:The apartment was clean and very functional

Review 20:A bit dirty, unfresh

Review 21:Close to everything, ok space.

Review 22:Price a bit expensive

Review 23:Small but ok for 2

Review 24:Very good apartment, clean and near of everything.

Review 25:The check out verey earlly even check in to late

Review 26:Our worst hotel experience ever. We had booked 8 nights, but after 4 nights with no cleaning, cold showers, very slow internet and more we decided to move. I asked in the reception if we could cancel and get refund for the last 3 nights and they said it was ok. Next morning when we checked out the lady in the reception refused to refund us. We called booking and they tried to help us and talked to the hotel who still refused. My wife then said to them that she thought it was very bad how they treated us and that they should think over their customer approach. We asked them to call a taxi and went out on the street to wait for it. After one minute the lady from the reception comes out with a man who tells us (with a lot of attitude) that we could call the taxi ourselves. My wife then replys "thats pathetic". The man then gives us the finger and spit in our direction and the lady tells us to get... out of there. It was shocking. Wouldn't recommend this hotel for anyone.

Review 27:ok location

Review 28:3rd floor room had loose sliding door to the street, so noisy.

Review 29:Great location. Convenient having a kitchenette and plenty of room to stretch out. Friendly staff.

Review 30:When we checked in we had to fill out a multipage inventory of every item (furniture, sheet, knife, fork, etc) in the apartment - in French. Along with the inventory, we had to give a Euro 300 breakage deposit. When we checked out we asked to have them come over and go through the same inventory and sign that everything was left as we had found it. They did that, but with a bit of an attitude. We got free WiFi in the room, but the account and password needed to be renewed every 10 hours which was inconvenient. There were five people and only four chairs at the table. The hot water kept going out. Every day we had to ask to have it fixed so we could all shower.

Review 31:The location. It is in a convenient location to the beach, to restaurants, and to this region of France.

Review 32:Lack of storage space for those sleeping in living area. Nowhere to hang towels, even in bath/shower rooms.

Review 33:s/c accomodation, clean, reasonable amount of space, all appears new and well-presented.

Review 34:The staff and policies and extremely odd. We hired a room for 5 peoplebut the flat only had 4 chairs. When I went to ask them for an extrachair, twice they said they would bring one over and never did. It waslike I was requesting something completely odd. Only 2 mugs in the flat.I explained we were 5 people who liked to have their coffee at once inthe morning. Again, this was like asking for enriched uranium, the girlat reception just kept saying "but this is how it is in this hotel",very annoying. Ah, and the tv didn't work properly. Imagine if I hadcomplained about this, they would have probably called the police. Also, when I booked, they had a problem with my credit card details andinstead of following the right procedure (to contact Booking.com) theycontacted me directly, which was strange.

Review 35:The location is fantastic and the price reasonable. With the ridiculousprices charged by the loads of mediocre restaurants that populateFrance, having a kitchen and a Carrefour 5 minutes away is a big bonus.

Review 36:We were surprised that e-net was not working two days, neitherswimming pool, even though it was included in price and we called thehotel in advance and stuff ensured us that all should be fine.Filling in Comprehensive list of room equipment is a big minus (noonewants to spend 2 hours of your holiday time for filling in these non-sense papers).

Review 37:Room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke and floor was very dirty.

Review 38:Fantastic location.Very well equiped. Well thought out use of space.

Review 39:Did not like having to take a three page inventory
