Reviews for Lensotel
Review 1:Guests before were smoking in the room, breakfast was expensive for what you got, as ran out quick and wasn't replenished - but kids were free for breakfast
Review 2:Nice hotel, large rooms, nice restaurant and location
Review 3:On our arrival , we had a a bad meal in the restaurant, but the waiter ignored our complaint, so we took no more meals .
Review 4:the accommodation was of a high quality and a great location for visiting the lens louvre museum and getting the motorway to Calais
Review 5:The room had French windows which opened onto a terrace looking out over the garden, fountain and swimming pool - lovely! We had a standard room, which was big and very nice - the premium rooms must be even fancier. The restaurant was wonderful.
Review 6:The building as seen from the approach through the retail park carpark needs some attention!
Review 7:Close to major motorways and tunnel crossing to make it a good place to stop for a night before driving on further into France.
Review 8:The restaurant did not live up to the promises The address of the hotel on the booking. Com info was incorrect as hotel is not in Lens
Review 9:The room was fine.
Review 10:1. Hotel was difficult to find; more signs are needed at the main roads and on the estate - I only saw one. 2. My room was too warm in the night; I could only cool it by opening the French windows, but obviously could not leave them open all the time for security reasons. 3. Paintwork in the corridors was shabby in places.
Review 11:1. Eccentric location of hotel among stores at a commercial centre situated between a dual carriageway and slagheaps, but completely hidden in its own oasis inside tall hedges; a bizarre but intriguing experience. 2. Restaurant very good, though some staff had clearly had no training at all; this added to the bizarre experience; fortunately I have a sense of humour.
Review 12:Location on a business park. We had a ground floor room with French doors. Ok to open when in the room but no ventilation or air con when sleeping. Bathroom very smelly with no external ventilation. Not the best hotel I have ever stayed in
Review 13:Reception very funky nice staff
Review 14:Signage. Not obvious to find. Our corridor smelt damp. Feels like the hotel is 'winding down'. A tad over priced by todays standards.
Review 15:Handy for our route through France. Restaurant is very good, with other fast food choices nearby. Very friendly staff
Review 16:I requested a change of my room because I was not feeling conviniant in the room provided. However, the hotel staff was not really concerned with the fact that I was tired (travelling one whole day) and had to work the next day and they did not let me change my room, with the only explanation that rooms can be changed only in the beginning of your stay, as you enter the room. I do not think this is an appropriate responce from a three-star hotel. I am working in a big company, travelling a lot around the world and I have never had a problem changing my room. If the hotel wants to retain good relashionships with clients, they should try to please their clients a bit more.
Review 17:Lovely large one level hotel located in a tranquil setting close to several shopping centers. Affordable and accessible parking. Attractive garden with pool.
Review 18:Only the rain which stopped us using the pool.
Review 19:The staff were so very friendly and welcoming we were made to feel very welcome. The location, on the very edge of a shopping center was quiet and convenient. Our room, as with all looked out onto a terrace and pool - private and very calm.
Review 20:A streetname for the hotel would be very welcome Breakfast could be better.
Review 21:All in all very quiet place in the centre of a huge shopping district. Rabbits on our window/door. Price more than ok
Review 22:It was located in the parking lot of a big box plaza. We arrived on Saturday night close to the end of shopping and driving around looking for the hotel was a nightmare.
Review 23:All the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. The dinner was exceptional.
Review 24:The toilet didn't work in one of our rooms and the 2-bed room that we had asked for was originally just a double bedded room. The problems were fixed, but the inconvenience was none-the-less significant.
Review 25:It was close to the major WW1 memorials. The restaurant was good.

Review 50:the location was perfect, the bed was the best i have ever slept in.did not use the restaurant, but the breakfast was very nice, and a good price.
Review 51:A little difficult to find on the SatNav. So the written address on the website, should have some additional directions to enter into the SatNav
Review 52:Location is nearby to my customer, and recommended by their Managing Director. Very comfortable beds and rooms are nice a warm. Helpful with directions to local WW1 places of interest to visit
Review 53:exterior a little off putting and location in the middle of a out of town shopping centre was a bit unexpected
Review 54:very good food in the restaurant, very big and comfortable bed
Review 55:food not very good ever .had superior room for 99euros which doesn't include breakfast (that's almost another 11euros each )and hair dryer didn't work and toilet door wouldn't even shut when I told the owner she said oh dear and that was it !! no tea and coffee making facilities and when plugged travel kettle in carpet etc had months of fluff dirt etc very expensive and not good value .also bath so high to get out of husband (who is totally fit and active) crashed into sink cutting his mouth and knee.
Review 56:able to sit outside room in evening sun, comfortable bed have stayed several times because convenient stop over for ferry after long drive.
Review 57:Dilapidated façade that you see first but which turns out not to be thatof the hotel itself. The hotel entrance is to the left side of thebuilding. The surroundings in a retail park north of Lens are not veryattractive.
Review 58:The friendly staff! The excellent breakfast, with local newspapers toread and freshly squeezed oj. The big double bed. The restaurant. Thelawns outside the windows.
