Reviews for Marmotel
Review 1:the hotel elevator that is slow, hotel not have a restaurant.
Review 2:Hotel is in nice and peace vilage, Rooms in hi standarts, Air condition, many restaurants and bars around, Very good brekfest
Review 3:It advertised A/C but it didn't work in either room. Obviously not a concern if you're not visiting in summer.
Review 4:The hotel is clean and nice with a very good breakfast.
Review 5:The city is pretty much all shut down during off-season. It is more of a winter destination, although the area is really nice and the tourism industry would have benefited from a stronger summer season.
Review 6:Excellent service and very courteous staff, definitely a location we would visit again. The staff manager goes aboe and beyond to satisfy the clients' needs - and this was very much appreciated. Beautiful and very clean rooms.
Review 7:After traveling nice hotels for a week with my girlfriend, this was unfortunately a bad experience. The hotel it self is a typical 3 star hotel, small rooms and okay breakfast, but nothing special. But the service is unfortunately below that. Check out time was 10am (check in 4pm). The hotel was half empty and I asked for an hour extra before check out, since my girlfriend is 5 month pregnant, had a bad day and needed a slow start, I would even pay for it. But no, they couldn't help me. That's amazing, they need 6 hours to clean the room for the next guest? (rooms and breakfast restaurant wasn't even that clean) I sorry to say, that in the last 100 nights I have spent in hotels, this is the worst service level so fare.
Review 8:From advertising picture I thought there was s swimming pool in the spa - misleading photo. Room fairly small
Review 9:Comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities, good for overnight stay
Review 10:That I couldn't stay longer.
Review 11:Beautiful building and feels very new and clean. Service was superb. Arrived early and no question allowed to check into room which is rare and truly appreciated. Spa was very good with cheerful service as well. Walk out into the deck chairs from the room - brilliant.
Review 12:I was only able to use the spa facilities once during my stay as fully booked. Also the staff at breakfast were a little inexperience and the bar staff a little unfriendly.
Review 13:The convenience of the location to the slopes and to the surrounding restaurants, bars and shops.
Review 14:Difficult to think of anything! To be really picky, the shower did not have the facility to hand the spray head from the wall. Also the hotel parking was not included in the price. However we did get an exceptionally good deal and free on street parking was found close by.
Review 15:Staff were were very accommodating and provided excellent service throughout the stay The hotel was beautifully decorated with a large, comfortable foyer boasting an amazing open fire. Breakfast is a must. I've never seen such a buffet in a hotel before. A must before hitting the slopes in the morning! Staff went out of their way to be helpful. I managed to loose my phone on the mountain. If was found after I returned home and the hotel kindly organised shipping back to Ireland. The spa looked wonderful however we did not get a chance to use if (the open fire was far too comfortable!). The rooms were compact but totally adequate and warm and well equipped.
Review 16:In the summer the village is empty and a lot of shops and restaurants closed.
Review 17:Nice, clean hotel for skiers. We had a discount on dinner in a good village restaurant.
Review 18:Limited options to eat in the resort (hotel restaurant closed in summer) Bar closed at 10pm

Review 37:nice location
Review 38:We arrived with heavy bags for one week and were told there was no one to help us, so we had to lift our own bags to the room. The staff give you a " can't be bothered on arrival" It looks as if they do not employ you unless you are a heavy smoker. The largest ashtray is outside the main entrance, the staff walk outside the door and throw their fag ends into the gravel. When you sit on the terrace in the morning for a coffee, they think it is quite normal for the chef and the bar men to come and stand on the terrace in a group smoking. The main lobby gets cleaned at around 9.30am in the morning so the seating area cannot be used until around 10am. We qued a couple of times behind staff whilst they took there coffee from the machine at breakfast. You would think we were asking from something from outer space at breakfast, " hot milk" they eventually managed it. The hotel was generally grubby. On 2 occasions they switched the heating off in the restaurant midweek as there were so few people. In general they could not really care less. Then when I checked my bill they had over charged me for a dinner for 2, they removed it from the bill.
Review 39:The young waiters tried there best having had little or no training. The location is fantastic with the hotel lying straight on the slope. The lobby had a trendy decor quite modern and warm with an open fire.
Review 40:The children complained about internet access being slow, but that's about it!
Review 41:Clean, airy hotel, up to date in excellent decorative order. Breakfast included was excellent value for money with a superb range of hot and cold foods, jams , cofffees etc.
Review 42:- nothing in the shower to hold the head of the shower, so you had to use one hand to hold the shower yourself or improvise. - you smell the fire place of the lobby in your room - too expensive
Review 43:- beautiful hotel - very good bed - great location - large rooms
Review 44:The hotel is brand new and was having a few problems with the roof areaover the entrance way - I am sure it will be sorted out soon, but therewas a sense of adventure to leaving and entering the hotel with most ofthe overhead wooden support beams broken and cracked on the right handside under the weight of the snow on top.
Review 45:We stayed in a south facing balcony junior suite. This was fantastic, great space and comfort. Some of the other rooms were directly off theopen plan bar area - a large open space going up two levels, I would nothave wanted a room opening directly into the bar. The ski area iswonderful and the hotel has direct access onto the slopes. There werequite a few families staying and the children seemed to enjoy the openplan feel to the hotel.
Review 46:Unfortunately the hotel is still under construction. It looks like thehotel is understaffed with the cleaning personnel.
Review 47:The situation of the hotel is excellent near the slopes. The staffis friendly.
Review 48:Restaurant was shut on our visit.
Review 49:Location, ski to door.
Review 50:Location close to the lift, amenities, playground and office de tourisme. Lounge area Breakfast buffet
Review 51:Good and nice, we enjoyed our stay!
Review 52:Check out time at 10am too early.
Review 53:Convenient location to our property in Provence.
Review 54:due to the fact that there where to few guests, they decided not to server dinner.. We had to go elsewhere.
Review 55:Location, room, ambiance
Review 56:The shower head was too close to the floor
Review 57:The hotel has a nice cosy lounge, it is in perfect proximity to the ski slopes.
Review 58:Still in start up mode, not enough space in parking, Could not try Spa
Review 59:Location, decoration, breakfast, bar area,
The Fine Print
