Reviews for Appart Hotel : Résidence du Temple

Review 1:The fridge did not work, but we had a replacement once asked. Better cleaning would help raise the score.

Review 2:Location, location, location. Great for families with kids — none will bother if kids make noise, the restaurant downstairs and the bar next door are already quite noisy.

Review 3:Situated in the old town. Bar restaurant located under/next to it with a great menu and breakfast. Was able to park our bike in the owners garage 50 meters down the road.

Review 4:Absolutely loved this place! Amazing location, very comfortable, and the folks in the restaurant downstairs were incredibly nice and helpful. We will be back! Wifi signal only worked in bedroom, but not a really big deal.

Review 5:The top unit has 4 flights of stairs to it, (but they helpied carry our bags up) and it was easy to bang your head on the sloped ceiling, but we still loved staying here.

Review 6:We stayed in the large unit at the top and it was a large unit. Other units claim to be able to sleep 8 or more but here you actually can. Having a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer was handy as we had been travelling around a bit. We loved being able to have the kids in bed upstairs and enjoying the restuarants in the square below. It was also so close to the main tourist street and lots of restuarants in the old part of Briancon. All the staff downstairs were super helpful and friendly

Review 7:There was a major plumbing problem with the kitchen sink. One of the main water pipes was disconnected somewhere causing water to run onto floor under kitchen unit. . We had to wash dishes in the bathroom sink. We asked to be located on a lower floor but were given an apartment on the top floor due to the noise level of the patrons in the bar.

Review 8:It was conveniently located within the old town.

Review 9:Very poor wifi signal. Rotting smell wafting from sink. Extremely loud live music starting at 10pm Sat night, quite loud recorded music Sunday night.

Review 10:Great location in old town, good space in living areas.

Review 11:Some problems with shower, a little more attention in details would be welcome. Wifi in the top floor non existent.

Review 12:The position is remarkable, oposite of a historical church takes toy back to mediveal age. The atmosphere is incredible.

Review 13:little things not working: wifi connection, tv, door frigde, window, no central place for your skis and shoes, bus connection to the ski lifts on sundays hardly available

Review 14:Linnen, towels even with change! Nice location, pleasant welcome

Review 15:No lift. So if the apartment is on the 3rd floor it is difficult to climb up and down. Not for people with knee of other motor difficulties

Review 16:Location was excellent. Spacious apartment with all amenities for a wonderful holiday.

Review 17:Be aware of the summer crowds, and the location of the accommodation - it is above a bar, so if you're a light sleeper, bring some earplugs, or join in the fun.

Review 18:Location, Richard is the ultimate host! We can't recommend this place highly enough. Great atmosphere.

Review 19:Few stairs but not a major - good excerise!

Review 20:Amazing place. Friendly staff. Lots of room.

Review 21:nothing.

Review 28:Wifi did not even exist on the second floor. The stairway is old, twisty, and very much in need of better lighting.

Review 29:Nice owner. Plenty of space.

Review 30:Just above a bar, noise past 2am and noise from people walking in flat just above. One room without curtains nor shutters.

Review 31:Location

Review 32:Can be noisy, not good if you got mobility issues as unable to have car pick you up and stairs to negotiate.

Review 33:Clean apartment

Review 34:Furniture a little worn, lack of towels.

Review 35:Great location, good sized apartment.

Review 36:Happy staff and superb location.

Review 37:It is noisy due to the bar down stairs but the noise usually ended by 12:30 am. You just relax and tune it out. Not bad compared to Rome because there's no motorcycles or traffic all night. No soap or shampoo was provided but we had samples from other hotels. Also no maid service was provided. There are large bundles of clean towels downstairs to help yourself.

Review 38:Location first, in the heart of the old walled in town. Clean and reasonably modern and comfortable. Overall we had a great experience at this apartment hotel and in the old town.

Review 39:The location was excellent. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and althoughRichard wasn't available to meet, he left clear instructions regarding access to the apartment. He was extremely helpful and obliging

Review 40:Dishwasher leaked, no elevator, hard to wheel luggage to hotel due to cobblestone streets (not the hotel's fault - I would just take this into consideration if I stayed here again).

Review 41:Large space with great view of the church.

Review 42:The proprietor wss so gracious and welcoming that he made us all feel instantly at home. Also the location was at the center of the old town which is the perfect place to be in such a charming place.

Review 43:Nothing !

Review 44:Nothing was to much trouble for the owner Richard, the apartment was spotlessly clean and fully equipped and in a fabulous location. Richard is also a very good chef and to top it all it is not expensive. In conclusion I would not hesitate to recommend Residence du Temple to anyone. Loved it !!
