Review 1：It was very nice to have a balkony with a view to a very green garden, very quiet location (it was the end of october),the room was comfortable and cozy, comfortable bathroom, there was a fridge and a stove in the room

Review 2：No A/C, little ventilation, furnishings and rooms are dated, some rooms smell of smoke.

Review 15：The view from the balcony and a very helpful front desk person (Florent) who speaks good English. Gave us some tips on where to visit. The hotel is not so far away from a very beautiful hill top drive to Col De Vence. Also, not too far from Nice. Supermarket, restaurants and petrol station are walking distance from the hotel.

Review 16：This is my first bad review in booking as I'm super low profile and I usually don't expect too much from hotels,but this time, I just didn't punch the guy on his face just because I didn't want to ruin my wife's vacations... And probably it wasn't his fault either. But here you have some facts: - the hotel showed specific pictures of the view of the balcony for the room I paid for ( which were outstanding and the reason we chose this hotel). But When I got to the property they took us to an inner room, with a balcony that was literally a wall with three small holes (a square foot size) so you can see some natural light in the morning, but all you could see was a tree. It was awful, I can send you pictures. When I spoke to the guy he said "the room has a balcony, it doesn't matter how it looks, it is booking site problem". He also said "it has a kitchen and minibar" the kitchen didn't have anything, it was smaller than a door, and the minibar was empty. The air conditioner didn't work well, the floor was wet, and so on... I immediately asked if we could move to another room (the first time I need to do this) but he said they were fully booked. The next day I ask if I can cancel the second day and he said no. He guy was nearly polite but he did nothing to help us, and he didn't take any responsibility for ruining our two days in France after so long trip

Review 18：The receptionist Florian was really unhelpful, inept and rude. He really should not be doing this job, he will chase away the customers with his horrible work ethics (or complete lack of it). To explain: My parents had another room (001) which for some reason during our stay had faulty air conditioning. Since I stayed in room 214, I had a comparison and thus room 001 was literally like a sauna in comparison!! SO, naturally we informed the housekeeper about it. Weirdly enough, she said she knew about it (we would have expected such a nice looking hotel to have better upkeep for consistency) She also said she had already told the receptionist but no actions were taken. We were redirected to the receptionist (a young guy named Florian). Now this "receptionist" was just rude and gave us the cold shoulder when we were explaining the matter to him. He condescendingly spoke down to my parents saying that the air-conditioning is ACTUALLY working right in that sauna. To add insult to injury, he literally shooed my parents away saying "I can't do anything" when we waited for the air - con to possibly work after some time (benefit of doubt). Don't mention any thought of changing the room or perhaps informing the management to take us seriously and repair their air conditioning, he was just so apathetic with no intention to make our stay as guests welcomed. On a side note on other faculties: Note that my room had a basic kitchen BUT NO cooking utensils. For non - experienced drivers, please also be aware that the hotel's location is high up on the mountains and may be challenging to get to. The wifi tend to be unstable in the rooms, especially at night. Once again to stress however, the hotel would have gotten a better review if it were not for their unprofessional receptionist and lack of hotel upkeep.

Review 20：Unfortunatelly this hotel is in a bad shape + our room was dirty. It`s nothing like the photos they advertise. I don`t mind the condition of the hotel overall but there is no excuse for not cleaning the rooms properly. I wouldn`t go back there.

Review 23：No fridge! We bought some food at supermarket nearby, but when we brought it to the room - it turned out to be no fridge. Also, if you plan to get to vacation - mind a mountain road from Nice to the hotel, it is far from the main road.

Review 24：The hotel is located in the mountains, very nice views! Just in front - there is a very nice restaurant with a gourmet cousine - perfect for dinner. The room was clean, a bit small, but with a balcony. And the price - it was really cheap at summer time in the region!

Review 27：Cleaning lady entered the room without even knocking at 9am while I was spleeping!!! No printed "do not disturb" sign is provided. I had to write down one myself for the next day. At night WIFI works too slow.

Review 29：We stayed in three rooms(103, 205, 111). First room we had to move because of cleanliness issues. Second room was better but not as described in other reviews. Wall paper coming off the wall, bathroom with painted over tiles (blistering paint and mold spots) and in all three rooms the tub/shower had just one glass partition so splashing can occur if not careful. No dresser, just a very small closet. Flat screen TV was very small with no English channel (readily available in the region). No washcloths (not uncommon in French 2&3 star hotels and motels). The sinks in all three rooms had faulty stoppers and surfaces around the sink were porous making them hard to wipe clean (rough stone like material). The view from the small terrace is beautiful but if you look downwards in Rm,205 the roof overhanging the entrance (5 to 6 ft. below the sliding window) has overflowing cigarette butts everywhere especially near the drains (feels like you're standing on top of an ashtray! A tile on the step of the terrace was broken on the edge which could be a cutting hazard for someone's foot. This hotel contrary to other reviews we read, needs serious updating, unless you appreciate late seventies or early eighties worn out appeal. Better to have your breakfast in a local eatery too.

Review 30：Location, view, bed and quiet.

Review 31：From our window that gave on to a small terrace the view was beautiful as long as you didn't look down. The roof covering the main entrance just below our room was covered in cigarette butts (hundreds!...disgusting!). They have a no cancellation policy. First night hard to find the rm # on the door because of several blown out bulbs on the floor we were on. The rooms are small, and we asked to change our room (cleanliness issues). 200 characters aren't enough. Second room had wall paper coming unglued, painted tiles in bathroom (blistering and mold), no wash cloth (not unusual in France) and a bathtub that needed scrubbing. No dresser, just a tiny closet (doors dusty), a desk with a mirror. Barefoot in the room not an option. On the small terrace a cracked tile that could easily slice a foot if not careful. The parking lot had cigarette butts everywhere. There's more, but I don't want to come across as negative (too late???)

Review 36：Excellent view from balcony with pure and crystal fresh mountain air! Sleeping there was a real rest. Breakfast on the terrace was nice. Cozy room with comfortable bed. Very nice, friendly and care people. Pierre was so nice to us with helping find a food delivery service on Sunday evening, so he literally saved our lives! You know, the Sunday evening all nearby places were closed (even supermarkets!) but we were not aware of it. Yann was smiling and care, helped us a lot with location of various places and routes. And beyond this they are just very pleasant people to talk with who makes you really feel in the hotel like home.

Review 40：This is the second time we have used this clean and comfortable hotel. It is away from the hustle and bustle of Nice and is perfect for those travelling to or from Nice airport for an overnight stay. The reception is open for arrival and departure really late - so is extremely accommodating for the air traveller.Our family bedroom for 4 adults had interconnecting doors and was spacious and immaculately clean with 2 lovely modern spotless bathrooms with fluffy towels. The little kitchen was an added bonus.

Review 42：Nice hotel, we visited this hotel beginning of August 2014. We plannedthis trip later than we should have in all honesty and were somewhatlimited in our options as a family ! However, this hotel which islocated what seems to be miles away from Nice (for us was ok as we had amotor, which I would like to mention now was a fantastic drive up themountain with fantastic views of NIce) We are a family of 5, kids10/7/3, we had a family suite which consisted of 1 double bed inone room and the other room two single beds a extra smaller bed. We wereallocated a room on the ground floor (conveniently enough), the roomswere in my opinion satisfactory, positives - small kitchen area whichwas furnished with a fridge with a small freezer, Microwave, sink andhob, which is great if you are on a budget, staff were very nice andfriendly, rooms were cleanAll in all, for time we spent in the hotel which was pretty much to lay our heads down in the evening was VERY GOOD.

Review 113：I suffered from bed bugs during my stay at the hotel. There were a lot of bed bugs in the room (especially on the bed). Because I showed the receptionist one of the bugs, he tried to change the room. Later, I complained about their lack of cleanness and bed bugs, but the manager shrugged off their failures and didn't apologize at all. That's a terrible attitude and not a professional response.

Review 115：The glass in the lift could be cleaned. The room had a mini kitchen, but no utensils - knives, forks plates etc., or washing fluid/tea towel to wipe own plates used. The coffee machine was broken for the full nine days of our stay. However the staff did supply coffee in lieu. Listing of facilities when booking was made, stated that international TV channels were available, and that two sporting channels were available. Being an English speaking couple, this influenced our selection of this hotel. However, this was not the case. All channels are French, with only one sporting channel.

Review 116：Staff were very friendly, helpful. Not being able to speak French, the multilingual staff made our stay a lot easier. The cleaning lady did an excellent job. Our room, bathroom were spotless. The soundproofing of the room was good. Only on one night did the guests in the next room cause some discomfort. A pleasant stay. Would stay ther again.

Review 126：Enchanting location surrounded by nature and quietness, just 20 minute away form the buzzing French Riviera and Airport. Rooms and bathroom are modern, functional, clean, and decorated to a fine taste. Outstanding acoustic isolation make this the best hotel I've slept in my stay in France. Plus - i was gently awaken by a fabulous birds concerto - a rarity for us living in a city like London.

Review 127：Too bad soundproof facility. I was very difficult time with TV noise in the next room. Location is too far away from Nice downtown and airport around half hour for downtown, 20 min. for airport. No interesting place surrounding hotel. Restaurant and supermarket only.
