Review 5:Nothing
Review 6:Stayed here with my husband at the end of March for 5 nights. We loved it. Our dog loved it. Paco & Ana the owners are so friendly and helped us so much when our car broke down. We had a couple of meals at the hotel. I had steak which was cooked to perfection. We also shared a paella which was fabulous. The village of Güéjar-Sierra is only a 15 min ride away, would recommend the restaurants sulayr and Las Olivilla, free tapas with each drink, good size portions and high quality. Cannot say 1 negative thing about the whole place, we have booked to go again in August.
Review 7:Our quadruple room was extremely small for 4 - we should probably have got 2 rooms as none of us slept very well.
Review 8:Lovely old Casa Rural. Owners were very friendly and helpful, food was great and we had a pleasant evening playing ping pong and chatting to the locals about the animals (horses, donkey and multiple cats and dogs).
Review 9:Very nice owners that do anything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Really, really nice home made diners that you can order every night. Super cosy living / dining area with couches and 2! fireplaces. Great to stay with kids and/or pets.
Review 10:We were recommended this farmhouse by a friend who stayed here last year. Situated a few miles out of Guejar Sierra in a beautiful mountain setting. Anna and Paco were brilliant hosts along with the dogs and horse. You will be made to feel very welcome here. Food excellent and the hosts are very accommodating. We walked the route up to the 11th century fort El Castillejo. Great trip we will be back.
Review 11:A little scary driving in a smart car, wifi was slow and not available in the room.
Review 12:Ana was great, she was cook, guide, and hostess! The dogs were super chill, pool was refreshing, the room had a great view of the moon and mountains, close car ride to hiking and natural pools.
Review 13:A warm welcome at the hotel. High up in the mountains. Spectaculair views. Nice walks around the hotel. Very friendly staff/ownwer. I really want to go back. The road to the hotel is new and very good. Also possible to ride on a horse.
Review 14:Paco and Anna were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The food and location were both excellent. Highly recommended!
Review 15:Great location and mountain view! Very kind and nice couple of owners - man and wife. Very cozy and very home-kind place. Dream to come back.

Review 20:Lovely people, lovely place. Fabulous sleep.
Review 21:I liked the house the garden the dogs the horse the stars the mountains the food but most i liked Ana and Paco and their warmness
Review 22:Wild and beautiful location - owners friendly and helpful - comfortable and traditional style of the house and rooms - the view from the terrace of my room was extraordinary
Review 23:Lack of garden sitting area and no pool as advertised.
Review 24:Ana and Paco were extremely friendly and unfailingly helpful. They offered lifts to and from Guejar and recommended walks. The home cooking was excellent and Ana took great care to advise us on Spanish cuisine.
Review 25:I loved this place. My husband and I stayed here for two nights, and we didn't want to leave. Ana and Paco were wonderful; the dogs are wonderful. The food was incredible: Ana asked us each day to let her know what we'd be eating for dinner--and then she'd fix us our personal meal. Delicious delicious delicious! The location is amazing: Up a winding mountain road with views of the mountains as well as the valley. We could hike right from the lodge up the mountain and join up with trails that stretched along the ridge tops. I really loved the solitude and mountains, and I cannot say enough about how great Ana and Paco are. This is a unique place is a unique spot, and I'd love to return for a longer stay.
Review 26:Even brain-storming, I cannot find anything negative to say .
Review 27:The location is wonderful, a real hideaway. And you do not expect such a comfortable house, the owners do everything for you to make you feel relax. The food is typical Spanish, the wine list shows specialities of the area, I liked most the rosé de Granada. There is a swimmingpool to refresh from an excursion to Granada , a pity it should be a bit deeper. Even dogs are welcome in this casa rural. I am sure I will come back to stay even longer.
Review 28:The hotel is quite distant from the city (Granada). So, if you are more after the 'city stuff', this may be not very convenient.
Review 29:Clean mountain air, nice views, very hospitable owners Paco and Ana. Nice dogs for the children to play with :) The night sky is fantastic. We ordered a private lecture on astronomy from a person who lives nearby and is very passionate about astronomy. He came over with two telescopes, so we could see magnificent things like other galaxies and Saturn with its rings and much more. This was really incredible experience both for adults and children.
Review 30:Everything was perfect.
Review 31:We traveled with children to visit the Alhambra. The hotel allows relaxed and convenient stay not far from Granada - about 20 min It is quiet, the owners Paco and Ana are very friendly and the food is gorgeous. Highly recommended to those travelling by car.
Review 32:we liked everything
Review 33:the whole experience staying at casa rural la teja was lovely, such a relaxing place to be, and beautiful surroundings, Anna and her husband were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble, we also enjoyed some very good evening meals.
Review 34:The Casa is very isolated, and it was a little tricky taking walks around the immediate area because of unleashed dogs.
Review 35:Our hostess Ana was absolutely lovely, and did everything possible to make sure we were comfortable. There are several day hikes within easy driving distance, which was great.
Review 36:Superb new tarmac road replacing the previous unmade road the last km orso up to the hotel at 4200ft. Lovely warm welcome from man and wifeowners Paco and Ana and a most friendly greeting from their good naturedgolden labrador 'Rol' who greeted immediately we got out of ourcar and led us to the reception! Helpful, most considerate, interestedand conversational were Paco and Ana who cooked and provided a simplebut excellent three course meal for us with agreeable house wine at9.30pm. Room simple, adequate and a superb environment - totally silentand very scenic. Great walking country. Vigilance required during thedrive up on the last few km of very winding road (with sheer drops!)from the nearest village; met a heard of 100 sheep on the way up andanother of about 100 goats on the way down when we had to stop the carfor 15 mins or so - Splendid.
Review 37:there is nothing to dislike but just be aware it is up a mountain but the roads are good
Review 38:this is an ideal retreat for people looking for a peaceful break or if you are a walker or mountain biker, the hosts ana and paco are friendly as is the labrador dog and horse in the back garden, the food was very good and most of the breakfast items were homemade.the views are breathtaking
Review 39:Wild nature location with only mountains from the window and only 30 min from Granada !! Real Spanish home, cosy, warm and with the great food cooked specially for you. Rooms are comfortable with the good furniture. It was the beginning of my trip so I stayed only 1 night but if I knew I would pick it for a base site seeing location of Granada and Cordoba!
Review 40:A lovely and friendly welcome for us from Ana and Paco after a long day walking in the mountains. Sore feet were looked after with cold beers, a comfortable sofa and a roaring fire. We really enjoyed our stay.
