Originally constructed in the 18th Century (1708) by the priest Don José de Cobas, the hotel’s 900m² building was carefully restored in 1995 and fully renovated in 2007. The building’s gorgeous original features and traditional Galician-style architecture have been carefully preserved and sympathetically restored. The hotel now delicately blends all the modern comforts and facilities you need to enjoy a restful, relaxing holiday with striking ancient features and traditional materials, such as granite, chestnut and oak.

Review 3：Lovely quiet location, very restful. Beautiful home cooked food and the lovely ladies who looked after us for four days. We would definitely recommend and may return one day.

Review 4：Maria picked us up from the Via de la Plata and delivered us back the next morning. She spoke English and forgave our lack of Spanish. She saw to all of our comforts without being intrusive. The setting was amazingly beautiful. The accommodations were stunning and impeccable. The dinner and breakfast were a delicious change from restaurant fare. We highly recommend it.
