Review 1：Not happy with the evening meal starting at 9pm would have eaten in the town if we'd checked before. Bar not open either all in darkness. Restricted breakfast. Coffee stewed. No air-conditioning.

We also found that the corridor lighting went out very quickly - more often than not before we had our key card in the door. I guess if your room was nearer the lift that wouldn't be so much of a problem. Not a huge issue though except when we first arrived with your hands full og bags and "things".

Review 42：The position of the hotel was fabulous for us. We were travelling with a dog who is happy to sleep in the car and the carpark was safe and quiet. It was surrounded by beautiful walking paths that were well lit and signposted and there was so much to see from our vantage point. The town did not appear to be far away but we had no need to venture that far. It was perfect fro us and we would stay again. Incredibly easy to find especially at the end of a long day on the road and getting out and on the motorway the next morning was quick and effortless.

Review 45：The AC didn't work, and we couldn't open the window seeing a a wasp trap was placed outside, luring them to come. It was hot and stuffy, and we hardly got a wink of sleep because of it. Breakfast as an embarrassment. The receptionist was extremely unpleasant, demanding to see our passports due to his disbelief that we actually owned a credit card. He did not apologize or demonstrate any discomfort due to his request. Finally his snorted, gave us the receipt and left without saying a sinlge word. No "goodbye" or "thank you for your stay". I have never seen anything like that in my life.

Review 100：Staff were very friendly. Our room was beautifully furnished and really comfortable. We were staying there overnight on our way to Santander. We were surprised to find that it was a purpose-built hotel as it looks very old and full of character. We had breakfast (included in price of room) and dinner which was excellent with lots of choice. Would definitely recommend.
