Review 1：I loved the village. The hotel's setting was picturesque and my room was spacious and comfortable. There was free parking. The host and hostess were gracious and helpful.

Review 4：The shower was difficult to manage without flooding the bathroom. All it needs is a bracket as currently has to be hand-held with disastrous results. The alternative is to just have a bath.

Review 20：This is the type of French hotel that is getting more difficult to find...family run, immaculate, well-located at a very good price. It's only a two star, but the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and the location is wonderful, right by the Etang at the center of Cucuron. For the price it is difficult to do better. Cucuron is a great base for visiting the Southern Luberon and is one of our favorite villages. We come here regularly and were pleased to have found this great value family hotel.

Review 22：A lovely welcome, helpful owners, comfortable and spacious room, tasty breakfasts and a very good restaurant next door. Cucuron is my favourite village in Provence and the location of the hotel next to the Etang (a large rectangular man-made pond surrounded by plane trees) is wonderful.

Good choice of restaurants a couple of minutes' walk away. Historic village with cobbled streets in beautiful countryside. Excellent breakfast - melon, croissants, bread, cheese & fruit. Big room and comfy bed.

The restaurant below the hotelis under different management and we did not rate the food very highly,but then we are unbelievably critical and there are lots of other placesto eat around.

Review 30：Lovely location on the Etang - a large rectangular pond - with theleaves of plane trees at the bedroom windows, comfortable bed, privateparking, room made up while we were having breakfast, ancient walledvillage, close to lots of excursions, great welcome from the patron onarrival, and supper ready even though we were late in, 10.30 pm.

Review 32：Logis De L'Etang is a neat, clean hotel situated right on one of the main squares in Cucuron, next to the peaceful tree-lined pool. They were happy to accommodate our young children, one and three, and provided a baby cot. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel is right above a beautiful, high quality but not pretentious restaurant where we had our best meal in France - it was absolutely delicious. The owner of the hotel was very kind and when we had to leave early in the morning to get to Marseille airport, he awoke early to check us out. Parking was also no problem as they have a private garden/parking area behind the hotel. Cucuron is a quiet town at the base of the Luberon, so great to spend a couple of nights at the end of your trip and not hard to get to Marseille airport from. Lourmarin is very nearby which is busier and also beautiful. But we loved the unpretentiousness and peace of Cucuron at the end of our Provence trip.

Review 33：Rooms up either one or two flights of narrow stairs. The room at the front was a bit noisy with the rubbish lorry and a couple of other trucks in the early morning but nothing else and not seriously noisy.

Review 34：It is situated in the most picturesque spot, along one side of a square with plane trees all around and a huge water reservoir in the middle - simply beautiful. Tables outside if warm enough. Shops are within walking distance, as is the old part of the village. The management were very welcoming and helpful with my friend's suitcase. We were shown into secure parking at the back of the hotel (only 4 rooms I think).We ate at the restaurant and had a wonderful meal. Breakfast we ate outside under the trees and that too was very good.

The receptionist was greatas on arrival I could not find the hotel parking, so she came with us togive personal directions.The room had a/c and was large. A goodrestaurant is right next door. The hotel is located by a dam in the middle of the village (famous from the film "A good year")and there are a number of good restaurants araound. Perfect for walks and bisycle tours. Great breakfast.The rooms are large and well equiped. There is a protected parking.
