Review 1:Parking Access: every access to the parking area gemerate a payment of €4 (exception from7pm to midnight).
Review 2:Excellent Position and Facilities about Room Access Code, WiFi Internet.
Review 3:Too hot. But noisy outside window with exhaust fan. Breakfast really expensive... Didn't have it.
Review 4:Great spot. We had view of Mont from bedroom window and closest hotel to Mont
Review 5:- Restaurant does not serve meal in the afternoon. - Hotel cannot issue the receipt at the day of check out. Although sending the mail to request after that but do not get response. - Hotel should give the code to enter before travelling date.
Review 6:- Location is good - can see Mnt st from restaurant
Review 7:Reception staff gave me impression that the guests where just a hassle to them. Guests standing at counter where less important than answering phone. The WiFi did not work in the restaurant. Breakfast was the most expensive ripoff in my three weeks in France. Not only that they ran out of coffee and pastries/croissants or couldn't be bothered replenishing.
Review 8:Contrary to some other opinions I had a fantastic room with lovely sunny aspect but no view of the Mont
Review 9:The double bed is merged from 2 single beds, so it's not very comfortable.
Review 10:Very convenient location, friendly staffs, very clean bed sheet, reasonable price
Review 11:We didn't enjoy the restruarant, the service wasn't great and the food was well below average and expensive
Review 12:Closest hotel to Mont Saint Michelle, without the hefty price tag. The room was spacious and functional with a balcony overlooking the river, perfect for relaxing.
Review 13:Toilet a bit close to the bath - no room for knees - also shower glass did not have a protector at the bottom so it was easy to flood the floor
Review 14:Great location for Mont St Michel and walking distance to Mont St Michel and option of restaurants available locally - comfortable beds
Review 15:Staffs are friendly, they help us to bring our baggages upstairs since there is no elevator. Wifi works well. Close to bus stop and food in the restaurant is good.
Review 16:It must be clear to all guest they need the entrance code in advance. Ididn't have the code so had to park my car outside the village, walkto the hotel, get back to my car, pay for the parking and then I couldenter the village by car.Breakfast is OK but the prize is way too high: the prize should be 50% from the acutual prize
Review 17:Very nice spot with a view on Mt. St Michel. Lovely staff; very helpfull
Review 18:I arrived at the gates of Mont St Michel at around midday. I could not progress. The way in to town was barred by a drop barrier and th attendant who spoke no English would not let unauthorised vehicles pass. Was sent to a coach park but the gates were pin coded and we had no pin code. Mobile phone coverage non existent. Abandoned visit in despair
Review 19:WIFI didn't work. The management of the hotel was very slowly for check out.
Review 20:The hotel has an attractive location. It is one of the last hotels before you will be on the way to cross the bridge in order to touch the castle ground. The room was clean and good. I may perhaps recommend this hotel to others but next time i probably will choose another point.
Review 21:Very expensive, old fasioned and a little a bit like noone cares about how looks like to the clients, no wifi - recepionist was rude and tell me to go outside the hotel to find free wifi from the next hotel!!!!!!
Review 22:The place of the hotel, very near to the Mont
Review 23:Place was dirty. The main building. Was filthy with mildew around the shower. The annex building was slightly better, there was a cobweb around a lamp. Fire alarm went off at midnight. No directions given
Review 24:Proximity to the Mt St Michel Abbey
Review 25:Breakfast the following morning was to be a buffet for 18 Euros per person. Pictures on booking.com looked good. Unfortunately the reality was simply appalling and very disappointing after the good meal the previous evening. Some bread, no croissants or pastries. No obvious spreads. Zero fresh fruit and a tiny amount of canned fruit salad. Juices exhausted and not replenished; no eggs, meats etc as per the photos. Staff didn't care (too busy chatting with other staff). Breakfast room was untidy, disorganised and the coffee cups had tide marks from poor washing. Not merely bad - discgraceful.
Review 26:The hotel is one of the closest to Mont St Michel and the restaurant has a great view. The rooms are a little tired but efforts have been made to modernise and they are attractively furnished. WiFi didn't seem to work. Dinner in the restaurant was great - good food, great service and prices. Menu de Terroir for 34 Euros is well worth it.
Review 27:the ceiling in the bathroom had a large damp patch and the toilet pedestal was poorly situated for any tall person with long legs
Review 28:the staff reduced the room price and offered us a free breakfast because of the problem with the bathroom
Review 29:None
Review 30:- prefect location, just near the bus stop for Island departure - got New Year present from hotel's partner - very nice :) - friendly staff - hotel parking across the street
Review 31:First room had shower hanging off the wall and mouldy curtain it was also freezing cold. staff did manage to move us when we asked them.
Review 32:The staff were lovely and really really helpful. The wine and food turned out to be surprisingly good. Bed comfy and view good.
Review 33:Lack of instructions prior to arrival that guests have to get an access code from the hotel before arrival as you can only drive and park up at the hotel once you've gone through the access barriers if the town using this code.
Review 34:The close proximity to Le Mont, quiet and spacious family room, comfy beds.
Review 35:Didn't try breakfast because of bad reviews
Review 36:Location is top Pricing is reasonable for MSM READ the confirmation mail from the hotel, you need a code to enter the city in the daytime!
Review 37:The room was so small we could barely move, It was summer and very hot with no AC or screens on the windows but could not open the windows due to the biting flys that are everywhere since the hotel is situated next to a dike. The breakfast was one of the worst we had in France. And one of the most expensive.
Review 38:The view of Le Mont St Michel was amazing! Ideal for pictures.
Review 39:Room was a bit cold at the beginning; some smell of paint possibly due to recent refurbishment.
Review 40:Very close to Mont-Saint-Michel
Review 41:Location
Review 42:Small bathroom and shower
Review 43:View of Mont St Michel Very easy to walk to Mont St Michel Close to nearby shops and restaurants
Review 44:Nothing really bad other than the bathrooms set up is really tight for showering

Review 60:dirty towels, broken lamp and shower-tube

Review 63:Location and proximity to Mont St Michel
Review 64:It's quite dated
Review 65:Convenient
Review 66:A little bit difficult to located in GPS
Review 67:Best view to see Saint-Michelle!
Review 68:dirty and needs renovation
Review 69:Average breakfast Balcony dirty Wifi failure
Review 70:Location, view
Review 71:Everything
Review 72:Absolutely nothing
Review 73:The Wi-Fi doesn't work. The rooms and the bathrooms are too small. Poor reception overall.
Review 74:Wifi was not working for my entire stay.
Review 75:Convenient location
Review 76:Location and comfort
Review 77:old and outdated building
Review 78:Good location, reasonable price, friendly staff
Review 79:uncomftebel, dirty
Review 80:Bed and showrr
Review 81:Lpcation
Review 82:The road to the town is gated and requires a code to get in. We had to walk the last 600m to check in and receive the code to open the gate to allow us to drive in.
Review 83:The food and serving staff in the restaurants, helpful staff, free parking, across street from bus stop for transport to Mont Saint Michel
Review 84:Breakfast at 18 euros - some sort of joke surely. We went out. Couldn't check in till after 5.00pm
Review 85:Reasonable proximity to Mont St Michele shuttle bus stop
Review 86:Bathroom and room are dated, but bed were big and comfy
Review 87:The location was perfect, need to get a code from reception to get in the preserved area, which they didn't tell us before so had to call on spot, rooms are spacious not so new but does the job for one night and is right in front of mt st Michel
Review 88:No air conditioning - no fly screens on windows - both the local flies and the mosquitoes are aware of this.
Review 89:The location was perfect. The views of Mont ST Michel - breathtaking. There were plenty of local amenities and the satf were helpful.
Review 90:I made my reservation three months before, but they emailed to me 4 daysbefore my stay telling that my second day was over booked. (I happenedto have access to email, but what they expect travellers to check emailsall the time.) They reduced a room rate and gave me a gift to show theirapology. However, the hotel price they found me for the second night wascheaper that they asked me to pay. I guess they tried to acommodategroup trourists by taking me out from my room to other hotel. They triedto show their apology sincerely, but still it was disappointing that Iwas treated that way.
Review 91:Excellent location to see night and day view of Mont Saint Micheal. Yet,you can stay at other less expensive hotels behind this hotel, and cometo this hotel restaurant to enjoy dinner with the view of Mon Saint. Iwould recommend to visit Mont Sait from early morning and have breakfastthere. Just next to the dam (great viewing place) and a shattle bus. Youcan enjoy walking to the Mont Saint. Also this is safe area so that youdon't have to pay extra to be next to the bus stop.
Review 92:The room was very cramped, the wi-fi worked only in the lobby outside reception and the restaurant menu was not up to French standards. It is obvious this hotel uses its location to inflate prices for the many Japanese tourists who use it.Very disappointed!!
Review 93:Location - perfect for a visit to Le Mont Saint Michel but not much else.
Review 94:Room was not ready on arrival and had to wait nearly two hours past check in. Price of beer €9.00 a pint ,€5.00 a orangina Could do with some updating . Ok for one night to see the Mont but would not suggest any longer.
Review 95:Location Excellent made life easy with parking and visiting the Mont . Bus stop to Mont straight out the front. The family liked 60s crazy pink bathroom .
Review 96:Nothing like it's website. No relaxation area inside. Outside area v public. No real bar area . Food basic @ expensive - breakfast v basic - missed out on 2nd day. Possibly the worst hotel we have ever stayed .
Review 97:Convenient otherwise not a lot .
Review 98:Parking miles away due to le Tour de France however we were given prior warning of this. Also didn't get a baby cot even though it was requested.
Review 99:The views to the Mont. Also a friendly staff member who helped me with some bread and cheese even though the restaurants had all closed for the night and they were all exhausted from the Tour de France that day.
Review 100:A bizarre reception - we were NOT staying in the hotel, but were "transferred" to a neighbouring hotel "Le Relais du Roi". We were told there were problems with the computer. So we cannot recommend Hotel de la Digue. Staff at reception not very friendly.
Review 101:Le Relais du Roi": Excellent hotel - nice small rooms good views - excellent location - friendly staff - very good food.
Review 102:Apparently they have a reputation for over booking and sending guests to other hotels...which happened to us and 2 other couples we know of. They sent us to the Hotel Roy next door the first night, which turned out to be the best hotel of our entire trip! Although they gave us a basket of treats and a 78 euro dinner for 2 at the Roy (very good) for the inconvenience, they still weren't going to put us into a room the 2nd day until 4 pm! When we complained the put us in a room over the kitchen which was very noisy until 11pm...and the smallest room we've ever been in. We recommend going straight to the Hotel Roy next time!!!
Review 103:The location
Review 104:Hotel is located within the restriction area, so PIN code to enter is necessary in advance. But unfortunately not delivered (visitors needs to make a call when arrived. but not convenient in case travel from abroad and does not have a cellar phone)
Review 105:Closest hotel to Mont-st-Michael and easy to see the view from restaurant.
Review 106:The room is not spacious.
Review 107:The location is excellent. We can see Mont St-Michel from the restaurant of this hotel. Also, we can see it from the dam next to this hotel. Especially it is easy to take a picture of the beautiful night view of MSM from the dam.
Review 108:Used it to see Mont Sainte-Michel. It was very convenient for that. The food service was good, staff very accommodating, particularly trying to find the hotel having driven from Caen and the overnight flight from US.
Review 109:Staff badly trained and almost rude. The service in the restaurant was absolutely appalling bordering on the laughable and no attempt was made to apologise or rectify matters. I would not recommend this hotel despite the views.
Review 110:The room was fine. Location excellent.
Review 111:It was not enough information about how to get there; information about the address was useless; the name of the place, where hotel is was different from the one in the booking information; night staff does not speak any other language than French what causes huge trouble finding out how to get there; no elevator - you have to take your luggage yourselves to the 3-rd floor; the restaurant does not serve guests between the breakfast and lunch, which starts at 2 p.m. even if the big sign outside the hotel sais "Service Non Stop". I would not recommend to stay in any hotel in Mont Saint Michelle - you better come and see this interesting place and leave - the only way to be satisfied.
Review 112:Proximity to the object of interest
Review 113:A little bit like staying in a motel. Not the most typical of an hotel of the region. Would stay at the Hotel Roy next time, lovely lounge and bar.
Review 114:The closest hotel to the Abbey with the best views.
Review 115:The hotel is very busy & desperately needs a makeover. The flashingrestaurant light was left on all night & the curtains wouldn't fullyclose. We went to breakfast after a coach load of Japanese tourist &there was very little left. Due to it's age the hotel is very noisy. There are new road restrictions in place meaning you are left at a boomgate with security asking for the daily access code which the hotel getsdaily. This information should have been pass on with the bookingconfirmation so that you can call on the day of arrival.
Review 116:It's location to the Mont.
Review 117:Bed was like a rock, the worst. Restaurant timing is not adapted for turists, they say "Service Non Stop" and when I asked at 10pm something to eat they replied there is no service so it does has a limit. Bathroom like the one in a plane.
Review 118:Location!
Review 119:Difficulties with the arrival. We had to call to the hotel receptopn to get a special code to enter the closed area in which the hotel is located. This information was not mentioned in the booking reservation.
Review 120:Nice view on Mont St. Michel from the breakfast room.
Review 121:The fact that there was no reception. I had booked the room after 6 pmon Saturday (my day of arrival) and due to that there was no record withRelais hotel about our booking. This led us to some confusion, which wecouldn't clarify with Hotel Digue. So, having a reception or atleast a contact number, during the evening hours would be better.
Review 122:Tariff
Review 123:It is what we use to call a flop house. Stay away from it. Much betterhotels down the street, which for some strange reason where cheaperper night.
Review 124:Leaving the day after I checked.
Review 125:- They booked us into a quadruple room with 4 separate beds measuring approx 85 cm x 185 cm as opposed to a double bed and two singles- The room faced a busy street with loud traffic noise until midnite - The hotel did not have on-site parking as advertised. - Due to construction, the walk from the street to the entrance was over rocks, puddles and mud - Construction work and heavy machinery started 4 meters from our window at 0737 hours - The hotel charged us for a full quad room when, according to their advertised rates, we should have been charged for 3 persons because the age of one of our children qualified to stay at no extra charge
Review 126:The room was clean and the shower had plenty of hot water.
Review 127:The whole area around the hotel is in chaos with road works and buildingworks. The room was basic but comfortable for youngsters but notsuitable for an older person. There were a lot of young JapaneseTourists who were polite and friendly but we felt that we were part ofthat school trip. The dining facilities were rather basic.
Review 128:The hotel was convenient for the visit to Mont St Micheal The staff werevery friendly and helpful.
Review 129:Location is brilliant!
Review 130:Connection to WiFi
Review 131:Nice view, location and environment
Review 132:The room was not clear. A lot of champignons near of the big window. Dirty and I don't plan to back there anymore!!!
Review 133:Very rude reception girls
Review 134:the breakfast is too expansive.
Review 135:The Mont Saint M is small may not necessary to stay one night. Good location if stay one night.
Review 136:Great location for visiting Le Mont St Michel.
