Reviews for Hôtel Juan Beach

Review 1:Groundfloorroom 114 is very tiny, no balcony or garden, only a view to the carpark. No fridge.

Review 2:Good location, near all the shops, restaurants and beaches, despite a quiet place. Friendly staff.

Review 3:The Juan Beach is a stylish and authentic French hotel in a wonderful location. It is worth paying a bit more for a better room. The owner and staff are friendly and professional.

Review 4:The bathroom looks a bit outdated and needs renovation. Hot water sometimes changed to cold water surprisingly. Too expensive for what you get. Safe wasn't working even after the staff intervened. Breakfast too expensive and not worth the payment.

Review 5:Closeness to the beach and supermarket, responsive staff.

Review 6:No fridge in room which was a pity.walls very thin so we heard a lot of noise in morning, you can hear everyone's conversation in the hall!

Review 7:Location,pool and good price.

Review 8:No shelves or drawers in the room to accomodate smaller clothing items, wardrobe was too narrow for the hotel supplied hangers - so you caught your clothes everytime you opened the wardrobe door. No kettle in room.

Review 9:It was a small relaxed hotel, well located for access to Juan Les Pins bars and restaurants. Sunbeds always available around the pool when required. Nice bar for a drink whilst around the pool or on return in an evening.

Review 10:FIXATED BREAKFAST RULES BAD NO KETTLE/FRIDGE ETC IN ROOMS RIGID RULES ATTITUDE OF SOME STAFF EXPENSIVE BAR /RESTAURANT V/V STATUS

Review 11:PRIVILEGE ROOM UPGRADE, THENCE SPACE EXCELLENT QUIET ENVIRONS

Review 12:Very small point - For us the swimming pool was too warm, it was very hot weather and we needed to cool off!

Review 13:Charming and helpful reception staff, particularly Anna Maria. Vey convenient for parks and bars.

Review 14:Breakfast was a tad pricey, but very good.

Review 15:We got a lovely room on the top floor with a balcony that was big enough to relax on in the evenings. The staff was helpful and very accommodating. Short, easy walk to the beach, but the pool is even closer and was the perfect temperature! We stayed in 4 cities in France and Juan Les Pins was by far our favorite. There is a lively block a short walk away to have dinner and some drinks in the evening. Also easy walk to the Juan Les Pins train station to take a train to Nice, Cannes, and Monaco. Beachy, cheerful decor. I would love to go back!

Review 16:Pool is heated and it was hot the days we were there so could have been adjusted.

Review 17:Adorable little hotel in great location- 5 minute walk from everything- very large with wonderful terrace. Staff was really helpful and breakfast area very nice.

Review 18:The double room was way too small for two people. Generally the hotel is too small and has nothing to offer. You won't like to spend time there so why pay more?

Review 19:Clean. It seems the owners have done all they could to make the best our of it. But sometime it is just not enough...

Review 20:One staff member at reception was very rude when I complained that the room was very dirty and not up to standard. The curtain was torn, the dustbins were rusted. The floor was extremely dirty. The cupboards and chair had dirt marks all over it. The shower had someone's hair and clip in it. There was a hole in the wall in the bathroom taped closed with cello tape. Not a suitable situation for my son of 2 years old. The reception disagreed about the room being dirty and not up to standard in a very rude manner. The other staff were friendly and the barman very helpful

Review 21:Pool

Review 22:Breakfast was sub-par for 15 Euros, so after first day we had breakfast elsewhere. We accidentally left a medicine bag in the cabinet under the sink, and 2 days later they had not found it--I would have thought that it would have been located and returned when I stopped by to retrieve on way to airport.

Review 23:Friendly staff ready to help, nice pool, pool bar open at all hours, easy walk through park to beautiful beach. Located away from noisy center of town but close enough to walk in. Room was basic but pleasant. For the area, good value. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Review 24:Asked for a quiet room, but we were put directly at the top of the stairs on the first floor. Our windows were above the staff area and they were noisy too. After putting our bikes out the back we were made to walk all the way back to the front of the property to enter rather then coming in through the back door which was right there. Their mistake, we had planned a 4 day stay and just went elsewhere for the other 3 days. Shower floods the bathroom.

Review 25:Obviously not a new build, see photos, but retains the charm of its era. Just possibly this puts strain on maintenance.

Review 26:The staff were most friendly and helpful, with good english. Situation very convenient, we walked easily to Antibes old town. Pool and facilities most comfortable.

Review 27:I'd advise people to be open minded with the bedrooms as this isn't the 5 star Garden Beach. We stayed in two separate rooms as we stayed then went away and then came back. The first room had a balcony overlooking the pool which was lovely, but the bathroom was quite small. The second room didn't have a balcony and the bathroom tiles could have been updated.

Review 28:I loved this hotel. It is really beautifully decorated, the pool area is relaxing and comfortable and the staff couldn't have been any more friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet location and an easy walk to everything Juan les Pins has to offer. I would definitely stay here again.

Review 29:Only one device can be used your whole stay on the wifi this was the only complaint I had which was minimal.

Review 30:Really beautiful boutique hotel great staff and rooms. Good location and 2minute walk into jaun les pains. Would recommend and visit again!

Review 31:The staff are the most charming, friendly and attentive I have encountered for a while. I was upgraded to a lovely room with large private balcony. They catered for my food allergies brilliantly. Lovely pool area, very pretty building with lovely old shutters. Great location.

Review 32:Just back from a short stay in this cute hotel. The service, care, and attention to detail shown from all who worked here ensured we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Anna Marie, on her first day at work here, warmly welcomed us and could not have been more helpful. Sophie is the epitome of professionalism and charm and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I hope to return many times.

Review 33:We had no complaints at all.

Review 34:A very clean hotel with extremely helpful staff, and conveniently placed for the beach, town and walks to the Cap d'Antibes, and for rail trips to Nice, Cannes, Monaco, etc. We had a very suitable room for a family of 5. Excellent playground nearby. But the best bit is the pool - it was very welcome, even at the beginning of April when the weather wasn't at its warmest.

Review 35:The room was a bit small.

Review 36:The location of the hotel was very good close to the beach and to the centre. Very helpful and nice staff.

Review 37:Mold in bathroom

Review 57:Service was terrible. Rooms were very white and plain. Would never stay there again.

Review 58:Good location

Review 59:No lift.

Review 60:Comfortable bed, lovely dining area/bar and pool.

Review 61:No lift to top floors so pack light!

Review 62:30 steps from the beach, shops, luxury hotels and bars. Pool, bar and restaurant and tiny but comfy rooms!

Review 63:The staff were witty friendly and very accomodating , rooms were clean modern and great value for festival season .

Review 64:No bar service after 08.00 p.m.

Review 65:Staff were friendly and attentive.

Review 66:Hotelparking complicated

Review 67:The room with terrace overlooking the pool. Nice and clean pool

Review 68:Room a little bit too small

Review 69:Location was great, very central. Staff was attentive and upgraded us because we were on our honeymoon and their was availability. Pool was nice and the lady attending the bar made a lovely Mojito! We enjoyed our stay with them very much. Rooms were spacious and recently upgraded. I would go back!

Review 70:Food and drink way overpriced.no fridge in room.

Review 71:Location perfect. One of the female recptionist quite snappy butall others were 100% helpful on all matters. Lovely pool andallover spotless.

Review 72:No elevator (had heavy suitcase to bring to 2nd floor, they will help if necessary) small bathroom, couldnt close door when sitting on toilet The place is quite but poor room isolation, had noisy neighboor the 1st night

Review 73:quiet and efficient air conditionning central and quiet place Close to beach, pubs, shops, restaurants (Across the park) Friendly staff Nice pool (but forgat about making laps, more for wellness) with pleasant bar

Review 74:The room was very small, it was a standard room on the ground floor.

Review 75:Staff were very helpful. Good location, at the nicer end of town. Pool great. Comfortable bed.

Review 76:Room just a little on the tiny side but most hotels like this in juan les pins

Review 77:We iced the location central but quite ...beautiful clean wee gem of a hotel

Review 78:Absolutely nothing.

Review 79:The Hotel is visually stunning and unique with bright yet tastefulnaval/seaside decor. We had a smaller room (the rest seem larger)but it was well furnished, with good amenities, shower and a nicebalcony. The charm in this hotel rests with the warm pool area, verynice relaxing bar and very high level customer service. The staff andreception went out their way to accomodate us (rare in France, sorry)and it feels like a small, intimate family hotel that we cannot wait toreturn to again.

Review 80:- WLAN signal at the floors is flapping - Shower has no protection and so you'll find the bathroom floor wet

Review 81:- Ambience - Swimming Pool - Hotel Position

Review 82:Our room was very small and the view was not good. No bath and the bathroom smelt of drains. The breakfast was ok but the fruit salad was not fresh fruit but tinned.

Review 83:Great swimming pool. Great location, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Nice pool side bar.

Review 84:The staff was friendly. The hotel has a good energy. It is light, bright and simple. Good location, within blocks of the beach and the main walking areas.

Review 85:For the price the breakfast was average.

Review 86:We had a great stay at Juan Beach! Our room was clean, the shower was very big and the bed was super comfortable. The pool area looked very nice, unfortunately it was raining during our visit. The bar area was very modern and our barman was excellent!

Review 87:lack of any snack/food provision after breakfast, lack of fridge in room

Review 88:ambiance, helpful and friendly staff, pool/bar area, rooms (with balconies)

Review 89:Hard to regulate the hot water in the shower. Window shutters should be in better working order to keep out early light.

Review 90:Beautiful heated pool. Quiet -- just far enough away from the crowds.

Review 91:The bathroom are very small, and I really missed a mini-bar.

Review 92:Hotel Juan Beach is a very charming hotel housed in a beautiful building with great access to the beach and the center of Juan-les-Pins and Antibes. Beautiful surroundings, a nice bar and breakfast area and I would say good "value for money". We stayed at room 203 which offers a big veranda with a view to the Piscine and Park de la Pinede.

Review 93:we stayed in room 150 and couldn't believe that the large toilet & shower window was clear glass leaving us in full view of the adjacent flats

Review 94:friendly pleasant staff, clean pleasant snack bar & pool area. easy access to beach, restaurants & shops

Review 95:Our family loved the swimming pool. Also was close to the beach and the shops, restaurants and train station. Staff very helpful. We also really liked the room which was spacious and had a separate double bed in another room for the kids.

Review 96:There was no bath in the bathroom even though the room was designated as "superior". There was no lift so it was not so convenient to be on the higher floors.

Review 97:The hotel has recently been renovated so everything was spick and span. The bar area was particularly well designed, with a nautical theme, and located alongside the swimming pool. The pool was heated and the area around the pool had very comfortable sun lounges.

Review 98:Nothing special, may be absence of good sea-view rooms.

Review 99:Comfortably located near to one of the best beaches of Juan Les Pins and garden with children's square and other kid friendly options. Nice interior.

Review 100:nothing at all, it was perfect

Review 101:The hotel was so nice. positioned in a quiet side road but only a couple of minutes from the most exclusive part of the beach. The appearace was very welcoming, awhite building with vivid turquoise shuttersit realy looked right for the Cote dAzure we would love to stay again for another perfect relaxing break

Review 102:We loved our 8-day stay in Hôtel Juan Beach. The website description ofthe hotel and facilities etc was absolutely accurate (important to avoidlater disappointment!), and every aspect of our stay was completelyenjoyable. Location is excellent, just a few minutes walk to beaches, restaurants and shops, and Antibes is just a 15 min. Walk via Bd.President Wilson. Hotel pool area is very comfortable with adequate sun-loungers in a very relaxed environment. Our experience was furtherenhanced by the excellent, friendly and helpful service received at alltimes from the entire staff of the hotel. I look forward to returning toHôtel Juan Beach.

Review 103:Room decor was a little dated but it was in good condition and clean

Review 104:The staff were really helpful and friendly , the hotel is clean and conveniently located for shops. The bar and pool area add a really great haven from the busy streets, easy to go running from here along the cap d'antibes, a reasonable and fair price for a hotel room in this area.

Review 105:Hotel Juan beach is a little gem! great location and good value for money, really lovely relaxed staff and nice atmosphere, would definitely stay here again!

Review 106:Only problem was the shower went hot and cold. I also thought breakfastwas a little bit overpriced.

Review 107:Hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The pool wasa perfect temperature and the hotel was located in an excellent area. There were more than enough lounges for all guests by the pool and theparking out the back was really useful for us.

Review 108:Hotel had been refurbished since last year when we went, was better, but still basic ,slightly high in price for what it is and needs to supply fridges and new up to date hairdryers in rooms.

Review 109:Have been to hotel before and liked the staff and location.

Review 110:Remember to check that parking is n additional payment each night.

Review 111:Liked fresh bright modern design - heated pool big hit and close tobeach, town and park. Had room with balcony overlooking pool. Comfythemed 'admiral' bar next to pool for drinks/ breakfast. Verycomfortable loungers by pool too! Staff very friendly and helpful -really made you feel welcome.

Review 112:I really don't have any complaints. Maybe some tea/coffe makingfacilities in the room would have been nice but apart from thateverything was just lovely.

Review 113:It's light and bright, clean and welcoming and the staff were lovely. The heated pool was nice and clean and the location is nice and peacefulfor a hotel so close to the centre of juan les pins.

Review 114:Dani, the owner, was charming and made us feel very welcome and valuedas guests. The staff were all friendly and professional. The pool andbar were excellent and quite unexpected for a hotel in jlp. Have beengoing to jlp for 15 years and this is the first time have stayed at thishotel but will be returning next year for sure.

Review 115:A very special hotel, beautifully located on quiet side street with wonderful heated pool. The staff could not be more pleasant and recent renovations make this terrific value for money.

Review 116:I've been in the hotel already couple of times and was always extremely satisfied with location and staff. This year, the hotel was renovated in the winter and excellent service stays the same. Very nice hotel with french charm for a fair price.
